章節 20: Twenty-Fifth Date: The Two Messengers Of The Cult

5 days later...

Its finally time. Tonight is the full moon. Dark Light will probably began the ritual around midnight, but first I need to deal with those that has been stalking me ever since I return from the museum.

"Come out, I know you guys has been following me these past few days.", I demanded.

As expected, two people wearing black robe and cover their face with a laughing mask with horns growing from their forehead. The one on left has a black-colored mask and one horn growing from the left side of his forehead while the one on right has one horn growing on the right side of his forehead and have a white-colored mask. Even though, they were hiding their Qi, I could sense that they are at least at the 6th stage of Demon stage. Powerful, but I can still take them on with my current strengths.

"Now. Tell me the reason why you guys have been stalking me.", I asked while glaring at them.

"Our Lord.", The one with the left horn started.

"Would like to invite you.", The one on right continued.

"To the ceremony tonight and you must bring Eclipse with you.", Left horn followed.

"This is not a request.", Right horn finished.

"And what are you going to do if I refuse.", I smiled.

They looked at each other for a little bit then rush toward me to deliver a right and left hook aiming for my head. I raise my the index finger of my two hands to block their attacks.

"Is this all you got? I'm kind of disappointed in you two.", I mocked.

The fall back and pulled out their weapons. The right horn has a white sword with black spikes coming out of it while the left horn has a black sword with eyes all over the sword itself(Creepy as fuck).

"You will...", The right horn began.

"Regret mocking...", The left horn continued.

"Us.", The right horn ended.

I grinned and pull out Twilight, which is still in its sealed form, and give them a thumb down.

Both of them attack me from both directions, smart, but not good enough!

"Demon Lord's Thirteen Sword Of Loneliness, Second Form: Crescent Moon Of Sorrow", I mumbled as I deliver a horizontal slash.

This attack blast out a crescent moon-shape blood-red Qi wave from my sword that cuts everything in its path. Not only does it do a huge amount of physical damage, this attack also emotionally damage the mind of the one who got hit. They will experience physical pain on the outside and relive the saddest moment of their life inside their head. Ofcourse, if their mind is strong enough to resist the mental damage, then they will only be affected physically.

The left horn got hit and got knock down while the right horn successfully blocked the attack, but got a brutal recoil damage and fall down to his knees.

The right horn try to get up on his feet and continue fighting, but I point to left horn and said..

"I could either kill both of you right now or I could let you save your pity little friend, who is probably reliving the saddest event in his life right now, first then kill one of you and let the other one live to be my messenger to that asshole lord of yours. Which will you pick? Think it through."

He stay quiet for moment and then crawled over to his partner. He pull left horn up and slap him back and forth in the face to wake him up.

My jaws dropped. Is this the only way he could think of?

"Um...dude, that is not going to wake him up. You are just damaging him more.", I said.

"Then how the fuck can I wake him up from your illusion!?", He yelled.

"You just need to...wait. Why am I helping my enemy?", I thought.

"You heartless demon! How can you be so brutal and still sleep well!", He cried.

Wait is that tears falling from his eyes? So even the evilest one can have feelings as well. *sigh* I can't believe that I'm too nice sometimes.

"Hey you, there's no way you can wake him up. You can only guide him out of the illusion. Inject some of your Qi inside his body and then you can enter his mind and communicate with him. Whether he gets out alive or not is up to you now.", I looked at them in pity.

He stared at me, wipe his tears, and nodded his head. The white-mask then inject his Qi into Left horn body.

Inside Black-masked mind.....

"Mother! Please don't leave me! You are all I have left. Life would be meaningless if you are gone!", a child cried next to his mother's body.

"So this is the saddest moment of his life. His mother's death. He was only 5 when his mother and only family passed away. Even after hundreds of years, this is a very hard thing to forget since you are both poor and abandoned by your father at that time.", White mask mumbled.

"Hey. Little boy.", White-mask approached.

"Ah! Ghost! Its a ghost! Get me away from me!", The little boy replied.

"Its ok, I'm not here to hurt you. What you are seeing now is just an image of a fragment of your memories. This is all just a dream, so close your eyes and wake up.", He said in a kind voice.

"No. You're just...just a ghost. You're trying to take my soul and bring me to hell.", The little boy cried.

"Xiao Lan. I'm your best friend and wife. I would never harm you. So please. Grab my hand and lets leave this illusion together.", He replied as he took off his mask.

Turns out the one in white is a woman disguised as a man.

The little boy reach out his hand and she grabbed it. They both successfully escape the illusion that my attack created.

*Clapping*

"Well done. Well done. Well done! I never expect someone to break my illusion on first try.", I smiled.

"Thank you for letting me save my husband. He's the only one I have left in this world. I have one last favor. Please let my husband live and kill me instead.", She begged.

"Lin'er. What are you doing? Mister...kill me instead! Please let my wife live.", The black mask cried

I looked at them and have a feeling that I saw this in a drama somewhere. But there love has moved my heart. I'll just absorb all their Qi and let them live the rest of their life together as a mortal.

"The love that you two shared has touched my heart. Its like seeing a live action korean drama, so I decided to just absorb all your cultivation and turns you into mortals. Do you accept?", I announced.

They looked at each other and smiled in tears.

"Yes, we accept. Thank you sparing our life, we now swear our loyalty to our new Lord Terrence.", They replied.

I smile and place my hands on their head.

"Devil Soul Sealing Fist, First Form, Version 2: Thousand Soul Destroying Palm."

The Qi from my palm enters their body and destroy all the meridians that stored the Demonic Qi inside their body. Immediately, a huge amount of Qi burst from their body. This is the sign that the demons inside their body has been destroyed. Now time to seal it.

"Devil Soul Sealing Fist, Second Form: Devil Seal!", I mumbled as I sucked in the Qi.

It doesn't hurt as much as the first time I use it to turns David back into a human again. This must be due to my current cultivation stage. Demon Lord Stage 1st Layer is awesome!

"There, I'm done. I've also left a drop of my Qi inside your body. This will rebuild all your meridians that was destroyed during the process, but this means that you are back at stage one, a normal mortal. You'll need to cultivate from the beginning, but if you want to live an ordinary life for the remaining half of your life then change your names, identities, and move somewhere far away so Dark Light can't find you.", I smiled at them.

"Thank you my Lord, but we wished to follow you from now on.", White mask said.

"If thats what you want...then tell me the location of the ceremony tonight.", I asked.

"It is located behind Stars Academy.", She replied.

"Say what now.", I dropped my mouth.

"My lord, don't you know that place has the highest Yin Qi in the city? Before the school was build, that place used to be a cemetary for veterans and soldiers who died in World War 2. Even though it was cleaned up before the school was built, some of the bodies were decomposed into the ground so the vengeful spirits and lost souls still wandering around the school at night looking for a way to go to the after life. That is why the Yin Qi is so strong.", She explained.

Ok, now I don't want to go back to school. Its a goddamn graveyard with ghosts and spirits haunting it. Wait...there's something wrong here. I'm a demon lord and I'm afraid of ghosts and spirits? That doesn't make any sense and its ruining my reputation. Wake up Terry! Be cool.

"I almost forgot. What are your names?", I asked.

"We forgotten them long ago. Will you name us?", They both replied.

"Um...what about Xiao Bai and Xiao Hei(Little white and Little Black)?", I smiled.

They both looked at each other and smile.

"Our master is really simple minded huh. Well both of those are cute names anyway.", Xiao Bai said.

"Xiao Bai. Xiao Hei. Greet the Demon Lord.", They announced.

"Fall back for now. I'll call you when I need your help.", I smiled.

They nodded and dissapear.

How do they do that?

"Are you sure you can trust those two? They did tried to kill you afterall.", Bai Li said.

"Don't worry. They looked like they have turned over a new side of the leaf. If they betray me then I would know since the Qi that I left in their body can let me know where they are and hear what they say and with just a snap of my finger, the Qi will destroy all the meridians in their body and make their heart burst after.", I smiled.

"You seems to gotten more cruel lately.", Bai Li smiled.

"The weak-hearted won't survive in this world afterall.", I replied.
