章節 103: EPISODE 103: Eyes Of Fear!
<Palpitoad!><Arbok!><Ratattata!>The Pokemon began to run as far as they can from the blazing wildfire. Everybody was scared of the raging fire, some Pokemons were injured and some lost their lives.
The fire started after a thunder crashed down on a tall the sturdy tree. the fire burned the leaves and logs, alongside with the lumbers beside it.
Everybody is panicking as the events start to intensify! It all started from a normal training day, which turned into a recipe for disaster! Unfezant and his flock retreated back to Raptor the Staraptor with a message coming from Riolu himself.
"Boss, Riolu and Petilil defeated us! He challenged you to a duel!" Unfezant reported as the scar in his eyes began to bleed.
"A duel you say? That filthy blue dog, challenges a bird of prey!? Lead the way and I'll kill him myself!" Staraptor beamed with anger and frustration.
"But this Riolu, his power is remarkable!" Unfezant exclaimed.
"Don't you lose faith on my Unfezant, I'll defeat that Riolu! Just watch and learn. I do not care if the jungle burns, I'll kill him, even if it means burning him!" Staraptor uttered with pride.
"Talonflame, and the rest, follow me!" Staraptor commanded and glided across the sky together with his men.
"Gardevoir, bring Riolu and Petilil back to camp. I have to help the injured Pokemons!" I uttered with worry and rushed towards the wildfire. Someone has to help the trapped Pokemons.
Gardevoir and I parted ways, she'll find Petilil and Riolu while I'll help the trapped and injured Pokemon. The fire was succumbing the whole jungle! Only the upper reaches are safe, the place where Riolu and Petilil are.
"Ah!" Riolu's thorn pierced deeper to his skin. Riolu was already extremely weak, and with Staraptor attacking him? He might lose his life.
"Riolu, you have to rest. You still have a fever, plus your wound is still bleeding." Petilil uttered with worry.
Riolu sat in front of the cliff as he watched the fire aflame through the jungle.
"Kalem... where are you?" Riolu spoke with his auras. He tried to communicate with my aura.
"Come on Rattata! Hand me your paw!" Riolu heard my voice through his auras. He sensed danger, worry, but most gravely, fear!
"Ah, Petilil! I know where Kalem is!" Riolu opened his eyes and stood up right away with excitement and eagerness.
"Kalem! Where is he?" Petilil started to feel relief and solace.
"We have to go to the fire, we have no choice," Riolu uttered and explained.
"The fire!? But, what if we get trapped?" Petilil uttered with worry.
"We have no choice Petilil, we have to reunite with my trainer. He can help us." Riolu explained with conviction.
"But... you're already too weak! You have to rest Riolu. You have a fever, your leg foot is bleeding, and your consciousness is vulnerable." Petilil uttered with worry and conviction as she tries to convince Riolu to rest.
"This thorn is only a hurdle," Riolu uttered and removed the thorn from his leg. It hurts, but Riolu handled the pain.
"I can handle my fever Petilil, this will only get worse if we go farther from my trainer," Riolu explained while bearing the pain in his foot.
"Alright... but first, eat these oran berries." Petilil smiled and gave the two oran berries she collected to Riolu's feeble body.
"Thanks Petilil, thanks for everything," Riolu uttered with a weak and swollen voice.
"No problem Riolu!" Petilil smiled back as her cheeks turned slightly red.
Riolu ate the two oran berries, which restored his energy back! He may have fever, but he can tolerate it. Petilil covered Riolu's wound with a leaf, this serves as a temporary bandage.
Petilil and Riolu dashed down the hill and rushed towards the flames. All the Pokemons were heading away from the fire except for Riolu and Petilil.
Back at camp, Zhery and Camellia decided to help the injured Pokemons passing by. Camellia was starting to feel anxious about me and Glade. Where could we be?
Glade in the meantime, was able to aid Braviary and Mandibuzz's wing. The fire was heading towards their area so they had to leave immediately.
"Mandibuzz, Braviary, we have to reunite with Kalem!" Glade beamed with conviction and concern as the fire grew stronger than ever before.
<Xtransciever rings>
"Zhery! Kalem's calling!" Camellia uttered with relief.
"I know, he's trying to call me too but I can't answer it," Zhery explained while aiding an injured Abra.
<Match Call>
Camellia: You have a lot of explaining to do!
Kalem: I know, are guys safe in camp?[coughs]
Camellia: Yes we are, and why are you coughing? Where are you?
Kalem: I'm in the western area of the woods. I'm trying to[coughs] save the injured Pokemons.
Camellia: What! Get out of their immediately! It's too dangerous there.
Kalem: I have no choice, someone has to help. You and Zhery must stay away from the fire, as far as possible! And don't come to me, I'm fine.
<Match ended>
"What do you mean you're fine!?" Camellia uttered with frustration and worry to herself.
"Zhery, I'm going to look for Kalem at the western reaches!" Camellia uttered with worry.
"What!? But that's where the fire is." Zhery uttered with worry and anxiety.
"I know, but Kalem is there, I have to help him before something goes wrong again." Camellia uttered and explained.
"Alright, I'll be here aiding injured Pokemons. Stay safe Camellia!" Zhery uttered with worry as Camellia rushed towards the western reaches of the jungle.
Riolu and Petilil rushed as fast as they can towards the western areas to save and help me, but their eyes locked with Staraptor from the heavenly skies.
<Staraaaaappttttooorrr!>The Pokemon descends towards Riolu together with his flock.
"Staraptor! So you received my message?" Riolu infuriated while blocking and protecting Petilil.
"Let's finish the fight here! I want a blood-bath!" Staraptor exaggerated while the flock surrounded them.
"Petilil, stay and sit down. I'll finish this Staraptor!" Riolu instructed.
"Just don't hurt yourself too much!" Petilil begged and uttered with worry.
"I've been waiting for hours! Once I'm done with you, you'll be my dinner!" Staraptor shouted.
"Alright then, but that's if you defeat me!" Riolu beamed with determination. He didn't mind his wound nor the fever hurting him. His eyes were filled with fiery passion and determination.

*Staraptor used Drill peck!*
*Riolu dodged the attack! Riolu followed it up with Vacuum wave!*

"I don't care about your filthy moves! Ahhh!" Staraptor infuriated and used Brave Bird towards Riolu.
"Riolu dodge it!" Petilil begged and uttered with distress while watching the match.
*Riolu was unable to dodge the attack! Staraptor was hit with recoil!*

"You're a feeble Pokemon after all hahaha!" Staraptor teased and mocked.
Riolu tried to stand up, but with the wound in his foot? It'll make him slower.
*Staraptor used Drill Peck again! Riolu was unable to stand immediately.*
"Oh no... Riolu! Go Riolu!" Petilil cheered with worry.
"Even if I'm weak or feeble, I can still stand and fight!" Riolu uttered while trying to stand up.
"You can't stand anymore, give up!" Staraptor infuriated and used Aerial Ace towards the feeble Riolu.
Petilil can't bear to watch, Riolu was being hit with dozens of attack. He tried to stand but Staraptor would push him back down. Staraptor doesn't want Riolu fainted, he wants him dead!
Riolu's body began to bleed, but he never gave up.
"Riolu... Riolu..." Petilil's eyes began to flow with tears, Riolu was in a critical condition. If Riolu didn't hesitate to evolve, then he would feel better, but why did he hesitate?
"I can do this all day! Come at me!" Riolu beamed with anger while blood oozed from his wound. Riolu was feeling dizzy as he loses his breath. This was a brutal scene indeed. Why faint the Pokemon if you can kill it? Right? (Wrong, I totally disagree with Staraptor! Trust me!)
"Riolu stop fighting! Let me fight!" Petilil begged, he can't bear to watch Riolu drop dead all of a sudden.
"It's time to finish this with one blow haha!" Staraptor uttered and used drill peck towards Riolu.
*Riolu tried to use force palm to counter the attack! Both Pokemons were trying to push each other!*
"It's time to finish this with one blow... It's time to finish this with one blow..." Gardevoir heard the sentence from her head. That's when she realized, Riolu was in grave danger.
Gardevoir began to ran as fast as she can to save the dying Riolu.
Riolu and Staraptor pushed each other! A battle of balance and suppression! Who will win?
Little Blue dog or Red Funky Bird?
Gardevoir leaps into action as Staraptor hits the final blow! Riolu was launched back. Gardevoir was late by a few seconds.
"Riolu! No!" Petilil began to run towards the dying Riolu.
"You filthy bastards!" Gardevoir unleashed her Psychic power to the ground which sent Staraptor and his flock towards the fire.
Staraptor and his flocks turned into fried chicken, and they were dead for good. Jeez, a lot of evil Pokemons are dying. First we have Arthur and Zozo, now we have a bunch of chickens.
I'm kidding! They didn't die. They just flew off somewhere else. They were afraid of Gardevoir's power.
"We'll come for White Leaf next time!" Staraptor uttered and flew with his flock.
"Riolu, Riolu!" Petilil uttered with worry while shaking Riolu's body.
Meanwhile...
<Braviary!>The Pokemon descended towards me.
"Braviary, you must be feeling better right? Help me out and bring those injured Pokemons out of here." I uttered while coughing roughly.
<Brav!>The Pokemon nodded and did what I instructed.
The fire already gobbled 1/4 of the whole jungle. Wake up Pokemon Fire Department!
"Kalem!" Camellia came rushing towards me while wearing a mask.
"Didn't I tell you not to come after me?"
"What am I suppose to do? Let you die?" Camellia uttered and queried sarcastically while handing over another mask.
"Thanks, now we have to help the other Pokemons," I uttered and smiled while wearing the mask she gave me.
"Alright, I'll help out. Next time, wear a mask before doing something crazy like this!" Camellia instructed.
Me and Camellia began to save the other Pokemons. The Pokemon Fire Department arrived thirty minutes later. Thank goodness they're finally awake!
"Riolu! Riolu, don't be unconscious again!" Petilil begged while trying to wake up Riolu. She can't use Synthesis since that would only work for her.
"Come on Riolu get up! You don't want Kalem to cry don't you?" Gardevoir tried to wake up Riolu as well.
Gardevoir scanned Riolu's internal system and found something grave. His lungs were bleeding from the inside. This made Riolu, harder to gasp for air.
"Petilil, we have to bring Riolu to Kalem. We need nurse joy!" Gardevoir uttered with worry.
"What happened to Riolu? Is he alright?" Petilil queried with worry.
"Yes he is, but his lungs are bleeding. He may not survive for long. We have to find nurse joy when we still have time. The odds are 78% You know what I mean." Gardevoir uttered with worry and distress.
"But how can we carry his body? My hands are not that strong." Petilil uttered.
"I'll use Psychic on Riolu to lift his body, he's still breathing but... you know what I mean. Let's go!" Gardevoir made Riolu's body float through the sky.
The fire was soothed with water from the Pokemon Fire Department. What took them so long? Anyways, the Pokemons turned out to be safe already and the jungle was back to normal.
The injured Pokemons were able to recover thanks to Zhery, in the camp, and thanks to Camellia in the western sections.
Gardevoir rushed towards me with Petilil and Riolu's body floating high above the sky. That's when Camellia realized that Petilil was missing.
"Petilil!? What are you doing out here?" Camellia quickly rushed towards Petilil and hugged her very tight, while Gardevoir went close to me with a worried smile.
"Kalem... Riolu's fine! He's just experiencing, internal bleeding in his lungs... nothing to cry about." Gardevoir tried to hide what really happened to Riolu, but... she wasn't a good liar.
"Internal bleeding!?" I grabbed Riolu's unconscious body. He had many wounds and scars. I could hear him, he was trying to gasp for air, but his lungs were starting to fail.
"Riolu, stay with me, stay with me buddy." I uttered with worry while trying to look for potions in my bag. That's when I realized, I used all of them for the injured Pokemon.
Glade and Zhery rushed towards us after the fire. I was panicking so much, that I needed to gasp for air as well. Riolu's chance of dying is really high.
"We have to find a doctor right away!" I uttered with worry while carrying Riolu's body.
"Let's see... There's a Pokemon center in route twenty-eight. What happened to Riolu?" Glade queried.
"I don't know, all I know is that he is experiencing internal bleeding in his lungs. He's also having a hard time to breath." I uttered with worry while checking Riolu if he was still breathing.
"Then we have to move quickly!" Camellia suggested.
"Good thing I was able to fix the camp! The food is in my bag, safe and sound!" Zhery uttered with slight joy.
"This is no time to be happy Zhery! This is a life or death situation. My buddy is dying!" I infuriated and rushed towards the next route.
A race against time! We ran as fast as we could to the Pokemon Center. Riolu's feeble body was in my hands as tears slowly fell off my eyes.
"Hang in there buddy. Don't leave me." I uttered solemnly while running towards the Pokemon center.
