章節 97: EPISODE 97: The Bouffalant Chase!
"Take care Dratini! Don't be stubborn." Me and Riolu waved goodbye as Dratini and Khaidra slowly walked away. Dratini and I will be separated for a few weeks, and when she returns? She's going to be powerful! You might be wondering, why shouldn't I be the one training Dratini? Dratini wants to become powerful, I know I could train Dratini, but training with a dragon master? She'll be strong in no time.
For now, I'll have five Pokemons, once the white feather falls on my head, it shall be the symbol of Dratini's return. Dragon Masters have this kind of weird ancient attitudes who uses the power and skill of dragon type Pokemons.
I wonder if Khaidra is also a gym leader in Dracovolt city? We'll know someday, once I arrive in the city. I felt uncomfortable without Dratini by my side. Riolu my Pokemon? He pretends not to cry but deep inside, Riolu's crying deeply.
"That's it, I can't handle it anymore!" Riolu's tears started to trickle down his eyes as he wipes his face on my jacket.
We walked back to the camp steadily and solemnly, Dratini was stuck inside my head with her cute little eyes.
I went back to camp, where I saw our Pokemons playing in the grass while my friends were fixing their tents. My hands were in my pockets while Riolu clung to my shoulder. My hat was turned down as I walked with a silent pace.
Glade caught my eyes, flowing with remorses. He got apprehensive about me and decided to ask what's wrong. Zhery and Camellia saw me coming, so they decided to join Glade.
"Kalem, what happened, why are you weeping!?" Glade questioned with alarm and concern.
"D...Dratini, is gone." I uttered softly.
"What do you mean Dratini's gone, did she get lost or something?" Zhery queried.
"No, Dratini came with Khaidra, a dragon master," I explained solemnly.
"So you mean, Dratini is no longer part of your team?" Camellia cleared.
"No, she's still part of my team, but she'll be gone for a few weeks to go training with the dragon master," I explained solemnly.
"Why did you do that Kalem? You could've train Dratini instead!" Glade suggested.
"I know, but... Dratini's eagerness to evolve into a Dragonair is higher than her thresholds. A dragon master could make Dratini's wish come true, and once a white feather falls on my head... That will be the sign of Dratini or Dragonair's return." I explained.
"The important thing is, Dratini will return, but because of your decision... you'll have to wait longer," Zhery uttered slowly.
"Are you saying, I made the wrong decision?"
"Of course you didn't, you want Dratini to grow stronger and better, but it would have been better, if you were the one who trained Dratini. Your bond will decrease since you let Dratini go away for a while." Camellia explained.
"It's too late, Dratini is gone for now," I uttered softly while rubbing my tears off my eyes as I walked slowly to my tent.
"Wait Kalem, I didn't mean to say something wrong!" Camellia uttered while I was walking towards my tent.
"Kalem did that because he believes that Khaidra could train Dratini more than he can." Zhery hunched.
"Hey Riolu, when are you going to evolve?" I queried sarcastically while staying at my tent.
"Gcck! Ev... Evolve? I don't know, heh heh." Riolu uttered with worry.
"Don't tell me you ate an everstone out of nowhere!" I uttered with slight frustration.
"Everstone? Nah! I didn't eat any everstone. I promise, I don't know why I'm not yet evolving." Riolu uttered with worry.
"Nothing, I was just asking because I remembered you trying to evolve multiple times already but the evolution kept on stopping. It was like you were resisting, are you?"
"Resisting to evolve? No I'm not. Bigger or taller means better right." Riolu uttered with a worried smile.
While everybody was doing their normal business, like grooming their Pokemon, playing with their Pokemon, observing their Pokemon, or even talking to them, a random Pokemon charged for my tent and blasted a hole into it.
Me and Riolu quickly rushed outside our tent and saw a fluffy Tauros with an afro which was trying to destroy our tent.
"Hey Tauros! Stop destroying my tent!" I uttered with frustration as my other friends went out of their tent to see what kind of commotion was happening outside.
<Bouff!>The Pokemon glared at me and Riolu and charged directly at us.
"Help! Help! Help!" I ran as fast as I can but Bouffalant was extremely fast.
"That's it, Pansear come out and use flame thrower!" Glade tossed the Pokeball unto the sky as Pansear descended with a happy smile.
<Pan! Sear!>The Pokemon unleashed a flamethrower which attracted the Pokemon.
<Bouff! Bouff!>The Pokemon shouted in rage and charged towards Glade.
"Alright Roselia, now use sleep powder!" Zhery ordered her partner Pokemon to use her new move.
<Roselia!>The Pokemon beamed with joy and used the attack commanded by Zhery.
Slowly by slowly the Pokemon fell asleep on the lush green grass. Still, my tent was ruined due to the charging fluffy Tauros with a big afro as its hair.
"Irys, can you please scan the sleeping Tauros?" I pleaded.
"That's my cue! Bouffalant, The Bash Buffalo Pokemon! A normal type, They charge wildly and headbutt everything. Their headbutts have enough destructive force to derail a train." Irys explained.
"So that Pokemon isn't a Tauros after all, it's a Bouffalant!" Camellia concurred.
From the hills, numerous Bouffalant came charging towards us and our camp. They ruined every single thing in their path as well as Zhery's hair. The Bouffalant passed by our camp and rushed towards other grass patches.
"It took me two hours to fix my tent, now it's broken!" Glade uttered with frustration.
"Well yeah? My tent has a hole!" I beamed and laughed.
"My hair! My precious hair, it's all ruined and wrecked." Zhery uttered with frustration.
"Calm down Zhery, what's so important about your hair anyways?" I teased.
"You won't understand! I spent two hours fixing my hair and I'll have to fix it again." Zhery uttered with frustration while trying to find her comb.
"Those Bouffalants sure are mad!" Camellia uttered while watching the Bouffalant break and dash through the other trees.
"Sorry! Are you guys alright?" A man came towards us, he had a vest and a cowboy hat.
"Yes we are, are those Bouffalants yours?" I queried.
"Yes, and I've been trying to chase them for days! Thank you for catching one of them. Bouffalant 20, return to your Pokeball!" The man uttered and explained while returning the sleepy Pokemon to its Pokeball.
"Well your Bouffalants destroyed our tents! Now we only have sleeping bags left." Glade complained.
"So sorry, my Bouffalants always love to dash through anything they see. My name is Louies by the way." Louies introduced and apologized.
"Then, there's only one thing we can do, Louies, can we help you chase after your Bouffalants?" I offered.
"Really!? You'd do that for me? Great! Thanks so much!" Louies beamed with enthusiasm.
"You guys go ahead, I have to groom my hair after what those Bouffalants did to me." Zhery uttered with frustration while combing her hair.
"Alright then Louies, how can we chase your Bouffalants?" Camellia queried.
"You can round them up here, then I'll return them to their Pokeballs." Louies suggested.
"Alright, let's do it right away!" I jumped and beamed with excitement.
While looking for the Bouffalants, Zhery was walking while combing her hair, I guess Zhery's having a bad hair day.
"All we have to do is to lead the Bouffalants towards Louies, but how can we do that?" Camellia queried.
"We'll split up, then we'll lead the Bouffalants on one direction so that they can join together, once that's done... we can lead them to Louies," Zhery suggested.
"Great idea Zhery, I'll take the left, Glade you take the right while Camellia will take the north, and Zhery will take the south," I suggested.
"Ok, that's the plan, let's move!" Glade beamed with determination.
The four of us went to different locations to find the Bouffalants in that area, it's up to our Pokemons and our strategies on how we'll be able to round them up.
"Alright Riolu, you see those five Bouffalants over there? Use force palm on the ground and catch their attention." I whispered while hiding in a bush.
"Ok, leave it to me!" Riolu force palmed the ground which caught the attention of the five wondering Bouffalants. The Pokemons began to charge towards us so we began to run to the center point.
"Absol, use crush claw on the ground to get the Bouffalant's attention!" Camellia ordered. The crush claw broke the ground and took the five Bouffalant's attention. Absol and Camellia began to run towards the center point.
"Alright Buneary, cutisize them!" Zhery instructed while hiding in the bushes. Buneary agreed and caught the Bouffalant's attention with her cute face. The Bouffalants charged towards Zhery and Buneary but they ran and hopped towards the center point.
"Squirtle, water gun one of them to catch their attention!" Glade ordered. Squirtle used water gun towards the group of Bouffalants which caught their attention. They began to chase Squirtle and Glade but they ran to the center point.
The four of us were gasping for air as we were chased by the angry Bouffalants. We rushed towards Louies and at the perfect moment? He was able to throw all the Bouffalants' Pokeballs and returned them one by one. That was a tiring chase, and me and my friends dropped tired on the floor.
"Finally, that Bouffalant chase is over!" Zhery beamed with relief.
"I want to thank the four of you for helping me catch my Bouffalants back, as a gift... I shall give you four three boxes of Moomoo milk each!" Louies beamed andd smiled as he gave us the Moomoo milk. I love Moomoo milk!
Our tents may be destroyed but at least with have some Moomoo milk! We have sleeping bags anyways, so we don't need tents... except for Zhery.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" Zhery shouted in the middle of the night as numerous amount of Caterpies and Weedles woke her up.
That Bouffant chase was short and fun, and those Moomoo milk were extremely delicious! See you next time folks, as the journey continues!
