章節 418: Lot 6439

Vy walked out of the auction hall and headed straight to the counter where she had previously registered. Seeing her walking up to the counter, the staff member greeted her warmly. 

"Is there anything I can help you with, Miss?" he asked. 

"Yes there is," Vy asked with her arms crossed, "I came here to bid on Lot 6439, the phoenix necklace. But it was not on auction today, may I know what happened?"

The staff member quickly apologised, "My apologies, miss. Let me check on that for you."

He quickly went through the paperwork laid out before him, before checking another device for more information. Unfortunately, he was not able to give them any reliable information. So, he went to get someone else to help. 

After a few moments, he returned with another member of staff who had also been in the auction hall. 

"Hi, I am the manager. My staff mentioned you were asking about Lot 6439, the phoenix necklace, is that correct?"
