章節 6: Training time skip
On an island next to a tree a 9 years old boy with black hair and lean muscles, he wasn't bulky but the strength that contained within the muscles cannot be under estimated. It has been a year since Tom has been training on this island. From the intense physical routine, cultivation and the life and death battle with the beast on the island, it has given me immense improvement. Right now my body is constantly carrying 40 kg. Because of the bracelets my physical training has done me wonders.
Opening up my eyes, press a button on my ring i see a hologram in front of me.

Because my sword technique has reach intermediate i can now cut steel with my sword, once my sword reach advance stage, it will have a qualitative change, i be able to send sword qi and use my sword to cut things that is harder than steel like sea stone... Currently my body is as strong as a vice admiral, once my body cultivation techniques reaches early advance stage i should have a body that is as strong as an admiral. Because of my busoshoku haki mastery increased the strength has increased and i have been able to cover my entire arms and legs, and my observation haki has been increased in range, originally my observation haki was only able to cover my hideout but now i am able to cover half of the island. As my devil fruit progressed i have been able to gain more power form the corpse that i absorb.
Looking at the status, i feel extremely satisfied as the hard work i put in has pay of. suddenly i heard a "crack" sound looking back at the egg laying next to the tree, i suddenly saw crack appearing on the egg and a bright green snake with black lines that run through his body. Walking next to the snake i stare at it, as it slithers next to my arm and rub it with it scaly body.
"Hello little guy" i said as i pet it. I brought out a small piece of meat from the beast that i hunted. Bringing it closer to the snake as it quickly swallow it whole and fall back to sleep, lifting the snake and putting in the nest.
A year has passed it has been 2 years since i stay on this island. My body, sword techniques, and haki has been progressed slower than the first year. But now my body is as strong as a normal admiral and i am carrying 80 kg total on my body. My sword techniques have progressed to the point where i been able to sent out sword qi and cut sea stone and mountains with a swing, and the sword qi is also attached with yang energy that melts whatever it cuts. The observation haki range has increased to where i nearly able to cover the whole island, and the bososhoku haki i was able to cover half of my body. Pressing the status button i saw:

The snake that has hatched last year which i named viper has grown up a lot and it usually rap it self around my neck most of the time. Compare to its mother it size wasn't really big however it's really fast and its poison was extremely toxic and deadly to the point one breath was able to kill a large tiger within 5 seconds. Because of this i was always try to look for poisonous herbs that i found during my hunt to increase and further develop his poison.
As i was admiring my own progressed during the last 2 years on the island i suddenly herd a ship coming my way. climbing up the tree and looking at the ship with the flag i was able to figure out that its a pirate ship.
