I really liked the beginning of the novel, however the existence of the Devil Face ruined everything... he's basically there watching while the mc is with Dongmei doing +18 things... And then there's the part where he's forced to evolve things between him and dongmei because of the contract, that's pretty uncomfortable to read at least for me. but the writing is good, like the author's other novels, so if you don't mind the reasons I mentioned, it's worth reading.

I'm gonna say it this one time that the author really wants his mc getting watch while he sleeps with her woman... it's really weird knowing a weird man watching you and your woman mating...... In his other novel too someone is watching them lol
This has been one of my favorite novels for a long time and I think it deserves more attention. What I love about it especially is the characters. More specifically Wuxing and Dongmei have fantastic characters and interactions. With them having some of the most desirable traits In a main character and heroine.
This is my third re-read of this novel and it's still one of my favorites I've read. The action is great, the romance between ML and first FL is amazing and I can see that the rest of the harem won't be shallow like other novels. Also the world so far is well crafted and interesting. I've read all of Pio's novels which I also REALLY like, but so far I think this is my favorite. It's unfortunate that it hasn't been updated in a long time, but I hope one day he'll come back with more updates and finish it. /pray

Reading synopsis I thought it would be typical revenge story, but guess what I would not be more wrong. The pace of the story starts slowly and definitely takes some time to build up. The first arc of story was the arc that hooked me the great. The planning of the mc, his cunningness, great acting with pay with two fold personality, and loyalty to the FMC makes him great mc for me. FMC also has great character and personality and the romance story between two is definitely depicted beautifully and thoroughly. The fantasy element which author has gives to characters for supernatural abilities is also simple and thorough which makes story great and interesting. Side characters are also unique and their interesting personality and powers (I mean their spirt contractors) are also great.
Is this novel dropped? I’m already chapter 208 and must say, that I’m addicted. Sadly the last chapter was releases 6 months ago, which troubles me as this is the best romance novel I know. Though there are some flaws. Like, when he wanted to create a weapon with his ability, why didn‘t he just lengthen and strengthen his nails? Would be easy and shouldn‘t consume to much energy. Then there is that with pregnancy where he could just make it so, that he can‘t impregnate women. Though he said several times that he wouldn‘t mess with his manhood, so that is ok. It‘s also slow paced with several events happening in a single day and honestly I’m fine with that which is rare as I love fast paced novels. To sum it up, I love the story and would be willing to read at least a thousand chapters without break, but the update rate is Slow and the last is 6 months ago, which worries me. Would be nice if the author could answer a question of mine: Is this novel dropped or on hiatus? Cause you still update your other novel/s.

This is one of the best novels I've read and it is specially my favourite novel from this author. It has really well devoloped characters and a strong and the story development is interesting. The action is really thrilling and the romance is very wholesome. My only regret is that I found this novel sooner because I would have to wait a really long time for the book to update.
until this point the story is going pretty well, the harem is developing in a rate that makes sense. This kind of story that has fantasy, action and r18 are my adiction.
I just want this to be updated again. All of Pio's novels are amazing but you need to let this one grow a bit. The beginning is a long setup but it is worth it. Even more so if it continues.

I would consider this as one of the best novels on webnovel but.. writer can take months without updating the story is so nice af but no matter how nice something is months aren't worth the wait
All I can say is the novel is amazing. The world building is good. The characters are well made with great character development making their personalities feel real and not shallow. The story brings many surprises to where it ends up leading to unexpected outcomes making for great story development. The writing quality is superb with not many spelling or grammar mistakes as well as great variety with the way actions or events are described, not ever feeling repetitive or lack of creativity/imagination. Also a plus for the harem personally, though there is going to be some drama considering the characters are a bit more realistic so it would make sense not everyone is 100% ok with it. Sadly with all of these awesome traits the only downside is the update release rate, if not for it being so slow it would have been a solid 5 stars.

Honestly, I find it very interesting how the author managed to write this romance. It's not too lovey-dovey but it shows how Dongmei And Wuxing love or show their love for each other so I give it a 4.6
I absolutely love the novel and the world and concept within, I just wish it could be a little more important to the other readers, because his other novel gets so much more attention so this one has to go on the back burner. :(
