(December 21) (Dante's POV)
"DANTE~~!! Help me~~'
Maybe if I stay quiet and don't move, she will give up that idea…
It was an average day… I was on my couch resting peacefully as I checked that the humans don't screw up and die.
Isabella still needs to work but Dana was given a couple of weeks off from school, so being the most mature and powerful character in the story she asked me to take care of her… which meant that I have to control and take care of an energy-filled little girl that loves to play around and don't like naps…
That isn't the problem really, but the idea in her mind is troublesome…
'Mmm he is resting~… maybe I should just talk with Cai-Cai~…'
Crap…
I stretched as I made it look as if I just have woke up.
'Dana~? What is it~?'
"Wake up~. I need your help with the Christmas gifts~."
'We can look around for something in the store later.'
I already knew what she wanted to look for, but it requires us to go outside the city.
"No~ I already know what to get for my mom!"
'But is too dangerous for us to leave the city.'
"In class, our teacher said that Christmas is about family, I know what will make my mom happy… please~~~."
Oh crap… she is learning the puppy eyes skill from Hope.
Maybe I should manipulate her into forgetting it… but I promised Spencer not to mess up with people's heads… with her being so young it may cause some side effects…
"I'll ask Cai-Cai."
Without waiting for my answer, she turned around to look for Cai-Cai. During winter she liked to hang around warm places and Dana was an expert in finding her.
This is getting worse…
*Cat's Sigh*

I was hoping for Cai-Cai to be exhausted or something to deny her too. Since she was a reptile she didn't do well in this kind of weather and that was the reason for her to spend most of her time napping in warm places, I respect her a little more because of that.
"Cai-Cai~."
The small snake was coiled near the heater and raised her head when heard her name.
"I need your help~. I need to go to my house to get a present for my mom."
The snake tilted her head without understanding.
"It's for Christmas…"
Dana started to speak about Christmas and how it was a holiday to share with your loved ones… she was really smart and repeated almost the same that her teacher said and by the time she finished talking, I knew that Cai-Cai eyes were sparkling.
Without thinking she nodded.
Cai-Cai would get cold going out, so went back to Dana's room to get something for Cai-Cai to wear (from my POV … it's a sock) I think that humans are not a good influence for her.
I thought that they would go out and just play around, being honest Dana probably will not be able to find her old apartment, but Cai-Cai solution shocked me to the core and made me understood the severity of the situation.
She was guiding Dana into the sewers…
'We can ask Pinky for his help.'
Oh sh*t…

SongWeaver This was shorter than usual but a plan to release about two or three more to complete the story on Christmas.
