章節 32: The gears turn for me
The moment the Qi blast neared her, a black tear appeared in front of Elise blocking the Qi blast. "HAHAHA who knew that the Lian family actually grew some balls, and tried to kill my daughter." The black tear opened wider, and a handsome young man came out. Blazing red hair, an almost haughty looking face, with a heroic demeanour. Wearing a black western style knights full plated armor, this man was Roland Astrakane, the father of Elise.
The moment Lian Feng directed killing intent at Elise, the witty little girl broke the life saving talisman her father gave her. Who knew that life saving talisman was to summon her father.
When Lian Feng saw Roland, he lost himself in despair. It was over, he couldn't even take one of their lives, while Ragna killed everyone of his kin. And just like that the Lian Clan was no more, the only one left was the survivor Ragna forgot about Lian Hong.
Roland smiled at Ragna. "Hello Ragna I'm Roland Astrakane, how about becoming my son-in-law?"

In one of the inner sect disciples abode, Leylin was talking to someone using a communication talisman.
"Hmph, so the fool Lian Feng actually fell for it. To think just telling him killing Ragna would make him clan leader, made him move immediately. He didn't even do a minor investigation and just went for it. Good thing you retreated before Roland Astrakane noticed you... No that's impossible, he should have noticed you, that means he thinks he's ahead of my plans... Well whatever if that's what he thinks then so be it, it will make him more complacent."

Once the communication was over the talisman burned into ash.

"So he didn't bother with you, even after finding out you were following him?"

"I received your report, keep on following the fool... If he attacks, you know what to do."
"Yes master." The man talking from the other side of the door left silently.
'That fool moving exactly as I thought he would. He knows I'm watching him yet he decides I'm not worth his time. I guess he's thinking that he can kill me anytime he wants... Of course he's going to do it in a big stage, to announce to the whole world he is the strongest genius. So that would mean will fight in the Young Dragons Tournament. The best chance you got to killing me Baiyi, is right now... If you wait for the tournament I'll be the one who has the last laugh.'
Leylin used another communication talisman, the designated receiver was back at his clan.
"Yes young lord, how can I be of assistance." An old man's voice could be heard through the talisman.
"How goes the research on the formation I ask you to perfect?"
"It is going wonderfully, just a few more months and we will have it complete. But to be sure we would need to test it on someone... How should we proceed my lord?"
"Just try perfecting it for now, and once its done ask Uncle Zemin to help you in testing it."
"As you wish my lord." With that Leylin burned another communication talisman.
'The gears have been placed, and their turning as smoothly as I want them. Now I just need to wait for the heavenly resources, Mao Xiulan will bring me, then I can focus in raising my cultivation...
