章節 100: The Boxes in the Ship
It wasn't just one person. Naked, human bodies were stacked in rows inside the box that had just become transparent.
Lance was shocked at this sight. He could only step back in horror, scanning through the many faces that were stacked, standing, so tightly that each pressed onto the other.
The bodies seemed to be cryonegically frozen, with no breath apparent on their nostrils.
"Jwnwofdfbb!", came a strange sound from behind him.
It was a Reptilian who had just entered the cargo room from the ship's command cabin.
The door had closed behind him, so the rest of the Reptilians in the command cabin weren't alerted.
Lance's back faced the reptile which had just seen him. With his mind, he commanded the thrusters in his feet to output maximum power.
Suddenly, he flew backwards while turning his body in the air and stretching out his hands to make his palms face the Reptilian. This was only possible because he had the Strength IN, which allowed him to control each part of his body accurately.
It hadn't even been a second and a half since the Reptilian entered, and its mouth was still opened, saying something.
Lance's palm hit the chest of the Reptilian. Thousands of volts of electricity surged through his arms into the strange scales that he was in contact with, making the Reptilian shake and shutting him up.
Lance carefully controlled his momentum to make sure that the Reptilian wouldn't bang into the door, alerting the others. Just as he reached those scales, he commanded the thrusters on his chest to boost him forward.
2 opposing forces cancelled out his momentum, but it injured him in the process. Blood oozed through his lips as the Reptilian collapsed into Lance's arms.
Carefully setting down both himself and the Reptilian, Lance breathed a sigh of relief.
The whole thing had happened in only a few seconds, but it felt like a lifetime.
He dragged the Reptilian to the side, making sure it wouldn't be visible if someone else came through the door.
After he was done, he touched the other box to see if it was the same.
"Command, I have intercepted the cargo. There are human bodies stacked in rows inside and they look like they are cryoneginically frozen. Please advise.", he said, sending a message to the IE high command.
There was nothing but silence. It seemed that the ship somehow blocked communications to the outside, and he was now cut off.
Thankfully, the suit still recorded everything offline and functioned using an onboard processor.
Lance's plan was to wait for another Reptilian to come in to check on the first. Hence, he stood beside the door waiting.
As he waited, he looked at the first Reptilian's body, noticing the spiked ridges on his head where humans would have hair. It was green in color completely, and it also had a tail with a sharp end.
Where its nose was supposed to be, there were only two slits and it was completely naked, with thick scales covering the whole body.
Lance had scanned the command cabin, and there were only 2 more Reptilians.
All he had to do was disable the one who would come to check and then find a way to knock out the last one to take control of the ship.
