章節 22: Awakening Ceremony Postponements, going out with Kumi, "Masquerading Parade Tactics,"
As Marcus was waiting for the Awakening Ceremony so he could get it over with and start his true planning, Kumi came in the room letter, stopping his pondering as he saw the letter stating that the 10 year Dragon Ceremony is postponed for a little over 3 years. The letter did not say anything else as Marcus is not important enough to know so he asked Aeris which he had to pay 10,000 DP for her to go and find out.
After paying the money Aeris left for 1/2 hour and came back, She told him that 2 Chaos Dragon were born in the Qin clan using majority of the materials when awakening them. Hailing from the Qin Empire, the Long Clan ,same as the Hazard Clan in Isle Empire are the Qin Empire main military force. However unlike the Isle Empire when hearing the prophecy, the Qin Emperor, Qin Chung, took a different route as he thought it was a chance to both expand the empire and gain an strong ally if his empire gives birth to a genius with the Long Clan, thus getting closer to the dragon race. He acted fast and arranged a marriage between his first son Qin Chung, the crown prince, and Long Ai, despite her name she is a black flame fire that likes to become center of attention and why she whole heartily agreed with becoming the princes's wife. Giving Birth to twins or a boy and a girl naming the boy Qin Hao, Long Bao for the Girl who both had awaken Chaos Dragon Bloodline though not a full beginning Chaos Dragon, but awaken a type called "Chaos Flame Dragon" Bloodline still causing the Dragon Family to send an Ancestral Level to escort them to the Dragon Race dwelling and giving the Qin Empire many materials and vowed that they will ally and protect it if anyone dares to harm them.
Waiting for the Dragon Race to get more supplies for the Hazard family awaken will take 3 years, not that it takes 3 years to restore the supplies the children used to awaken their bloodlines, but materials use for their celebration and for them to cultivate. Hearing this many families/empires became envious for Qin Chung luck and decisiveness, while Isle Emperor directly spit blood mad that he did not think of this. This has also caused the Hazard family mood to die down and awkward as they were bragging about the Fog Lightning Dragon not to long ago.
Knowing this is what happen Marcus let out a sigh as he cannot do his plans yet as he does not have an excuse to leave the country up front without causing suspicions. Deciding to rework his plans Marcus went to Kumi as she was happy shining with purple hazes of chaos in her eyes, hair, and body every once in a while. Seeing this Marcus looked and told her that her change is to much and needs to hide unless she wants others to find out. Kumi realizing this took her mask and drag Marcus to town with her as she look for a concealing art/ method.
They arrive at a store that sell many different books, scrolls, and etc. Kumi began to browse around looking for a concealing art, as Marcus went towards the shelves with lots of dust on it as he had already seen the other books and stuff and knew they were trash arriving here. After reading and scrolling through the things on the dusted shelf Marcus found a incomplete book called a simple yet bizarre name "Masquerading Parade Tactics" as it was a Universe Layer concealing technique, however only the 1/4 of it was there. Marcus knew this was a good technique so he took it to Kumi and told her to buy this. When they went to the counter the old man looked at them and the
Masquerading Parade Tactics snorting under his nose and said 10 Shequels and telling them they bought a lousy incomplete thing before shooing them off.
Marcus told Kumi that this can hide her new look until she breaks through to Immortal Realm. Kumi just realizing she has subconsciously followed Marcus orders and listening to Marcus she thought to herself, "he must be hiding his true capabilities, but not telling me, or maybe he is telling me indirectly by giving me this cultivation method, and talking more. Showing that he trust me, but I must pick up on the clues myself.. Interesting I will cultivate this technique first then force him to tell me.
