Tóm tắt
In the gritty underbelly of Menthil City, crime and chaos reign. Meet Caspian Loveheart, a charming slumrat with a penchant for brawling. Join him as he dives into the dark side of the coastal metropolis. Amidst the din of shouting drunks and the clattering of coins, he uncovers whispers of a powerful relic said to alter fate itself.
As he delves deeper into this shadowy world, Caspian becomes ensnared in a web of danger, with dark forces seeking to claim the relic for their own sinister purposes. Burdened by the weight of his choices, he must confront the looming threats and fight to survive in a city where every ally could be a foe. Anyone would go mad under such circumstances. Unfortunately Caspian wasn't all there to begin with.

Viết đánh giá*I’m biased towards more traditional literature by WN standards so take my rating with a grain of salt.* Overall fairly well written, never lacking in description would be my main positive. My sense of action and pacing never diminished. With clear thought given to the design of the story. My only complaint so far would be I don’t feel the main character. Feels a bit detached and incorporeal to the story. Some enjoy that and it could be a style choice as it is easy to immerse yourself in a self-insert way. That all being said, a good start to a novel. Shameless self review here.. if you're coming from my other novel expect Whispers Of The Lost to be significantly darker. This novel is the spiritual successor of Eternal Guise. I learned a lot while writing my previous novel and this is my attempt to put those lessons to use. The style is a lot different. For folks reading my work for the first time. Expect a lot of action mystery world building and a clever Mc. Give it a shot if you don't like the first chapter.. I'll be honest you probably won't like the series. To anyone else though I encourage you to give Caspian and Menthil City a chance. The world is based on Victorian England and the story takes place in Menthil a similiar place to London in the 1800s. If you enjoy lampooning i can almost guarantee you'll love this novel.
Definitely a intriguing story, the plot is interesting and the way it’s described is pretty simple and easy to understand and doesn’t rushed up. Will keep reading.
interesting good book but few chapters...and yeah the author needs some support for sure...ive read authors thoughts and...bro definitely needs some motivation or otherwise he'll die 🤣🫂
Very good book with a good mc and solid surrounding cast. story doesn't hold its punches, but also doesn't force unnecessary conflicts that don't make sense. the writing is clear and descriptive, reminiscent of even traditional standards of quality.
Author has done a good job with the story. The scenes are well written i like them. adding to my library for future updates good job author
I love how descriptive and vivid the story is. You can really tell the author put a lot of work into it. I hope the Author continues this amazing story, I will continue to support it.
so vivid and well described I felt like I was there in the story, this is the most thrilling and exciting story that I have ever read in a long time. author, love you soo much ♥️
Vivid, engaging and yet thoughtful. The author enthralls me with their worldbuilding. I can't wait for more chapters. Will surely add this to my library and wait for updates.
Man those chapter numbers, those should be in three digits. This much is not enough to satisfy me. I'm waiting for new chapters. Hurry up and get back to work author. Can't leave me waiting.
Great narration, great characterization, I like the MC that was introduced so far! Going to marinate this first before reading it whole. So far I love the chapter 1 ^^)/
Its Such a well crafted story, the pacing is unbelievably good and the main character is really enjoyable to read... some of the characters are absolutely well written and the world building is also on point 10/10 keep going!!
Okay a novel with a good pace... For a novel in the fantasy genre with this kind of storyline and world building.. I think your novel is doing fine... The events are well planned as one leads to another without been disrupted. The action pace are good and gives the readers enough time to absorb it and follow the MCs part ... What can I say. You wrote a marvelous novel here . Well done And of course... The bad side 👀👀 Little chapters...heheh scared you huh... So write more... W Bravo brother... Well-done
This story is like a mystery box of romance, tragedy, and seriously dark moments. Our main character starts out as a total weakling, but don’t worry—there’s some action that turns things around. And, oh boy, the main love interest? A cold-blooded yandere with the villain attitude cranked up to the max. 😳 Every chapter has me like: - "Wait, did they just betray each other?!" - "Did he just fight 10 guys to save her?!" - "Oh no, someone’s about to cry… again." If you’re into historical vibes with a touch of craziness, characters who can't seem to have a normal love life, and a main character going from weak to strong, this is the one. Just prepare yourself for drama, a wild romance, and some tragic feels!
