Razor, a lightning whip-wielding guy who can steal the damage of his enemies. Back in the game if you let this guy go long enough he'd steal all of your damage and leave you powerless while he one-shots you. He can also manipulate lightning and summon a storm to obliterate anyone caught near him. Pretty good, but Michael doubted any fights he had with other gods would allow him to steal much.
Storm Spirit, the one thing Michael remembered about this guy was how fat and disgusting his old model used to be... They changed it thankfully, so he'd stopped getting stomped by someone who looked like an Otaku neckbeard... His abilities were all pretty 'good', but his most powerful would obviously be Ball Lightning, which allowed him to turn into a, well, a ball of lightning, and travel around wherever he wanted at ridiculous speeds. He was invulnerable during this, and the only problem was the high mana usage... There was also his passive ability that made his attacks electrify enemies after every cast spell. Pretty good.
Void Spirit, whether or not this hero was able to use Void magic like Tiffania, Michael didn't know. His actual abilities themselves were pretty 'meh', but the possibility of understanding more about 'Void' was pretty seductive. A big maybe.
Weaver, a space bug that could reverse time for itself whenever damaged, strike twice with one attack, summon a swarm of bug-creatures, and move at ridiculous speeds while invisible... Unfortunately, Michael felt that if he ever required Time Lapse, the time reverse ability, then he was probably better off picking another hero entirely. The double attacks were nice but not enough to justify choosing this.
Zeus, the God of thunder... Michael also remembered his mythical counterpart raping people while transformed as animals but that was neither here nor there. In the game, Zeus was all about smiting people, Arc Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Static Field, and Thundergod's Wrath. Michael recalled more than one instance where he'd been one shot in his spawn by an overfed Zeus... Indeed, every time he respawned he died again, eventually making him receive punishment for 'going afk'... That was some bull shit. Very good.
All in all, a tough decision, especially since he had to pick two out of the lot. The heroes all being god-ranked only made the stakes higher. Truly, he was struggling to make a decision... It felt like he was choosing which kidney he wanted to be taken.
After some thought, he did narrow the list down... Bane, Doom, Leshrac, Morphling, Outworld Destroyer, Phoenix, Zeus.
All of them had huge potential and could give him the edge in any godly fight he'd find himself in...
Well, first, he simply couldn't pass up infinite mana, especially since he'd just taken the Medusa spirit which gave him a shield that used mana to absorb damage. His first pick is Outworld Destroyer.
Additionally... He couldn't pass up being able to throw an octillion nuclear warheads directly in someone's face. So Phoenix is his second pick.
With that selected, flips through the book to check out the Spirit's status;
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spirit : Medusa
Level : MAX
Abilities :
Unbeautiful Serpent (Rank 4) : User can speak with and command any snake or serpent they find, the results will depend on the intelligence of the target.
Split Shot (Rank 4) : Allows user to fire many arrows at once, these will home in on their designated target and are guaranteed to hit.
Mystic Snake (Rank 4) : Fires a magical snake that bounces between enemies, dealing damage and stelaing mana from those it hits.
Mana Shield (Rank 4) : Allows user to summon a shield of mana that drains an equivalent amount of mana to block attacks.
Stone Gaze (Rank 4) : User's eyes can now turn enemies to stone with a glance, targets must see user's eyes to work. The effectiveness of this depends on the difference of power between user and the target.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, he got exactly what he asked for, the Mana Shield would be amazing, Split Shot and Mystic Snake less so... Stone Gaze was strong however, making him sure that he'd picked the correct choice.
As for [Unbeautiful Serpent]? He couldn't think of any creature he'd rather control than just simply kill. Not in the Elder Scrolls universe at least...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spirit : Phoenix
Level : MAX
Abilities :
Life-Gifting-Light (Rank 4) : User can decide whether his spells harm or heal those struck by them. Effectiveness depends on the power of the spell and rank of this ability.
Icarus Dive (Rank 4) : User manifests burning wings and flies, leaving behind a large burning trail that incinerates enemies and rejuvenates allies.
Fire Spirits (Rank 4) : Summons small bird-like fire spirits that launch themselves at enemies and explode, covering them in caustic sticky flames that slow and deal damage for a duration.
Sun Ray (Rank 4) : Unleashes a huge beam of solar energy that harms enemies and heals allies. Requires both hands to use, power is determined by user's Strength and intelligence.
Supernova (Rank 4) : Whenever User dies he transforms into a Supernova for a duration, once it collapses User is reborn in perfect health. The Supernova can be destroyed before completion to kill User. User can activate this by ending his life.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, this was fucking broken. Michael was already unkillable, so adding Supernova on top of that was stupidly effective. Plus, he'd not become more corrupted by the Dead God's influence if this activated instead.
The ability to choose who his spells harm was a huge deal too, he'd never again have to be worried about collateral damage... At least, not by his spells directly affecting his allies. He was sure destroying the planet or unleashing an earthquake would still cause trouble.
Icarus dive was also fantastic, combining it with Lina's Convection and Winter Wyvern's Arctic Burn frost wings would probably have interesting results... Combining Frost and Flame wings? He had no idea what would happen... Come to think about it, couldn't he just fly without them now anyway though?

Spirit : Outworld Destroyer
Level : 5
Abilities :
Forbidden Knowledge (Rank 1) : User can catch a glimpse into the truth of a being or object. Chance of discovering something hidden, obscured, or usually nonsensical, effectiveness depends on user's Intelligence.
Arcane Orb (Rank 1) : User creates an orb of pure arcane energy which penetrates all defence and attacks the body and soul directly. Ability is entirely dependant on user's Intelligence, it uses a percentage of user's whole mana to cast and deals bonus damage based on the amount used.
Astral Imprisonment (Rank 1) : Locks a target away in a hidden pocket dimension for its duration, and temporarily steals the Intelligence of those affected. Deals damage to the target and those around it once the duration ends.
Essence Shift (Rank 2) : User gains a percentage of his mana back after every cast spell. Enables user to absorb mana from his surroundings.
Sanitiy's Eclipse (Rank 0) : A large-scale psychic attack that deals massive damage to all those caught in it. Bonus damage is dealt to those who have lesser Intelligence than the user.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outworld Destroyer's abilities are exactly as Michael had expected, though, Essence Shift didn't work as he'd initially expected. The way it worked was by using the mana expended after each spell to open minuscule rifts to random dimensions and sucking up mana from there. He didn't have to worry about sucking an area dry of magic due to this.
Arcane Orb was a stupidly powerful spell too, the ability to negate most defences was incredibly effective... The only real problem was actually hitting someone with it, the orbs moved somewhat slowly, not only that, they were quite big and bright depending on how much mana was used in their creation, making them extremely visible.
Regardless, he'd spent enough time playing around for now. He'd visit Medusa and Spectre later to see if they were willing to be friendly. His new [Lich Lord] ability basically made him able to bring any of his spirits out whenever he wanted, though, the restriction of them being under his current rank still applied.
His deal with Shadow Fiend was still active, especially now considering his Conceptual ties to Deals, Pacts, and Bargains that he'd inherited from Clavicus Vile. If he was ever able to before, he now couldn't breach the terms of his contract, any attempts to do so may result in his destruction... He couldn't die of course, but he imagined having a Concept linked to your soul stripped from you was very, very painful.
Fortunately, his deal with Shadow Fiend specified freeing his soul from the book, meaning that he wasn't required to summon him into reality because his soul would still be trapped...
Shaking his head, he uses Haunt to appear directly in from of a now clumsily wandering Charlotte who seemed pretty out of it.
She stops before him and her face freezes as anger, desperation, guilt, and rage overtake her features.
Michael was pretty taken aback by her reaction, but soon realised the problem... She'd been enslaved by Clavicus Vile, who he now was... "Chill out Charlotte..." he tries pacifying her while reaching up and snapping his new horns off.
He couldn't completely remove them but that didn't mean he couldn't stop them from growing... He reaches his hand into his inventory and pulls out some metal, an ebony and gold alloy he'd been messing around with in the past.
With his new Phoenix abilities combined with the control he'd learnt from Lina's teachings, he melts them, and with Telekinesis crafts them into two dark gold rings. Ebony was closely interlinked with death due to it being the blood of Lorkhan, and gold was very good at holding enchantments.
With this in mind, he layers the Concept of Death over them before sliding one on each of the knubs of his horns, preventing them from growing any further.
"Voilà, back to my usual handsome self... Somewhat." he adds at the end since his horns were still visible...
Charlotte just continues staring at him, this time in utter confusion... "Michael...?"
"Yep." he grins, popping the 'P'.
"How..." she trails off, unsure on where to start.
"How did I free you? How did I beat Clavicus? Why do I have horns? Why does some of my hair resemble yours?" he lists off on his fingers.
"... Yes."
"All of the above? Let's go home first so I don't have to repeat myself." he starts while reaching a hand out to her, only for her to quickly back away in suspicion.
"Prove it. Prove who you are." she all but demands, her staff at the ready despite how disoriented she is at the sudden reclamation of her soul.
He rubs his chin at that, "Your mother likes painting, and the first one she did in this world was of the Statue of Azura."
...
"That not enough? How about Illococoo being Sylphid? Or Kirche being your best friend school?"
"No... You could have taken that from my mind... Do something only Michael could do..." her eyes shine slightly as an idea comes to her, "Make a pact that you are Michael."
"Sure." Michael easily says, conjuring a binding contract made of magical parchment. He'd learn the method to do so from Clavicus, who had a flair for this sort of thing, kind of like Rumpelstiltskin when he really thought about it.
He hands it to the girl but she quickly frowns and backs away when she reads through it... "Mikhail?"
"Ah, right. That's my name now, not by choice or anything, like a regular name I guess?" he sheepishly admits.
...
She lets out a sigh and give a small smile, "Only Michael is so dumb..."
"I'll have you know that I'm probably the smartest person in existence right now." he irritatedly retorts, eight hundred Intelligence was equivalent to twenty-six geniuses of geniuses among humans stuffed into one person.
"Liar."
