We walked down a very long hallway until we reached the end, where I met with two familiar doors. Chief Gong who was leading the way pushed open those doors. He even dusted the chair with his hand before inviting me to sit down. To begin with, I swear the chair didn't have any dust. He loves his office to cleaned daily, it was an old habit of his.

"O-oh! How forgetful! Would like to drink anything?" Chief Gong was almost out the door when he realized he didn't have anything to serve Yun Anong.

I was able to grab the corner of his shirt before he darted out the doors in a panic. Goodness, I am not going to let someone who could be my father run these small errands for me. I wouldn't have the face to meet my father later on.

"No need for anything," I made sure to emphasize 'anything' so he can get rid of any thoughts for unnecessary things. "I'll let get started for why I am here today."

"Y-yes, here is the information I was able to gather for you." Chief Gong dropped a huge stack of paper on his desk.

Unfortunately, his hands were shaking like crazy, causing some of the papers to go flying everywhere in the room. Even some documents and pictures hit me right in the face. I don't know what I am doing to make him feel all jittery.

I smiled at him, plucking a photo resting on my head back into the pile. "No need to be so afraid."

Sadly that didn't help him calm down. Instead, it got him more nervous when he saw Yun Anong's friendly smile. How can he not be afraid of someone like her? He's literally asking for his head to be chopped off if he offends her in any sort of way.

"Y-yes," Gong Guowei tried holding back his stuttering, but it manages to still come out. He'll just try to calm himself down by picking up the papers and pictures dropped on the floor.

I grabbed some random pictures in 'the' pile and looked through them as if they were 'normal' pictures. They were more on the gruesome side than the bright and sunny everyday kind of image. In one photo, it had a man whose arm was chopped off from his body.

Whoever took this picture, really did a great job in getting the full details. You could see the bone sticking out from the arm and body, there were small pieces of scattered meat too. I give them props for not vomiting on top of the body.

Another photo showed a hand missing all its fingers. The following pictures showed those fingers and the places where it was tossed to. It wasn't far from where they found the hand, so whoever did it, did it all for pleasure. They certainly were not trying to try to hide the fingers of the man. It was placed in plain sight if carefully searched for.

Chief Gong watched as Yun Anong picked up one picture after another to examine. She didn't flinch or show any disgust at any of the photos. Rather, she seemed impressed? There was none in that pile that was considered 'decent,' either someone was chopped up in the most horrendous way possible or how they died. Even he didn't feel comfortable flipping through those pictures.

Those who were assigned to this case had to continually look at these photos for evidence or any sort of clue. In the end, most of them had to take a week off every month to mentally recover. Some resign from the case because it was too much for them to handle. The other reason would be that they did not want to get involved with whoever is doing all of this.

Chief Gong let those who can handle the case do it and those who couldn't, he relieved them from this case. After all, they are humans.

The last picture I grabbed was of a woman whose face I couldn't see. Her head was turned the other way with her hair covering her entire face. The woman's throat was slit open with dried up blood on the ground and on her neck. It appears that it was just one of the way she died. Another photo showed her entire body where her stomach was also sliced open. Her intestines hanged outside her stomach.

Based on her position, she was fighting back her attacker until the end. It must have been almost two days later when they found the body. Flies were swarming the body already and probably hatching eggs. You can tell the photographer was having a hard time trying to get rid of them, or else they wouldn't get a clear enough picture to go on file.

"Chief Gong, do you know who is this lady?" I held up the picture of the woman, which he obviously tried to hold back his vomit.

"She has been marked as unknown," Chief Gong finished collecting all the papers that went flying.

"How come?" I tried finding other pictures of her in the stack. I don't know why, but this lady had piqued my interest.

Regrettably, I couldn't find any other pictures instantly! These pictures need to be reorganized! Goes to show how long this case has been held off since the disappearance of The Kings.

"There are pictures of her face in 'that' pile..." Chief Gong hesitated to finish his sentence. "But, her face was skinned off and smashed in."

Closing my eyes, I tried to imagine how her face would've looked if she was still alive. It was based on what I can see, but nothing was coming to mind.

"Why the sudden interest in her out of everyone?" Chief Gong's eyes gleamed, wanting to hear what are Yun Anong's thoughts on this.

"It's nothing," I sighed, setting the pictures to the side away from the rest of the unorganized images. For some unknown reason, I have a feeling I know this person and maybe had a bond with her.

"As you already know, The Kings are getting active again in Country Z. So this is our chance to capture them once and for all!" Chief Gong proudly announced, slapping his thighs.

The Kings had all quietly disappeared around three years ago, and no one was able can track them down. Now, this is their chance to redeem themselves!

"Who is the leader of this case?" I flipped through the papers to see if I can find the file on the nameless woman.

'Knock, Knock, Knock'

"Speak of the devil!" Chief Gong sat up straight and changed his face into a strict boss. "Yes, please come on in."

"You called for me, Chief?"

"The pervert!" My voice ringed out louder than I was expecting.
