Chương 332: Massive Loss

The lips of the middle aged Anax twitched again as he watched the youth, "However, I would grant you a grace.  Your mission deadlines would be suspended for three months."

Grey eyes looked up at the Anax, "Thank you for your grace. Can I keep this grace and use it another time?" Zane had no intention to pause the missions.

 There were five other members of the Gnosis society on Earth; and at least three of them would be vying for the positions of an Aeon. If he should delay his missions for three months, he would not get an advantage from it. Besides, he has the situation under control.

The middle-aged man, Zhyl'rax, interlocked his fingers as he leaned on them and watched Zane intently. It was less than ten seconds and yet Zane felt like he had been completely seen through. His thoughts, his desires, everything. Those eyes were unlike that of a human, rounder with a sharp, black pupil surrounded by a bright golden iris.
