I read a few similar novels and I must say that this is one of the best (not best yet since it doesn't have enough chapters) BECAUSE: • It has a good pacing – not fast nor slow. Each chapter is to look forward to. • No inconsistencies to any characters yet where they suddenly act stupid just to force the plot (It might have but not to the point where it's unbearable. I drop novels because of this). • The MC is likeable, or should I say loveable? He is kind of similar to the MC from "The Heavenly Demon Can't Live a Normal Life" BUT since the story has a [Romance] tag, it has to be better! (I don't care who he will end up with whether she's Eritrea, Liya, or a new female character, as long as it isn't forced for the sake of romance, I'm okay with it. I just hope the author wouldn't fumble hard on this). • The side characters are good too, they aren't just brain-dead young masters and nosy jade beauties who are born just to simp the MC. Although the fiancé of Liya acted rude towards the MC in their last exchange, he still saw him as a threat because of his calm demeanor (Even if the MC pretended to be a cripple). • The only downside I can see for now is the lack of details in the fights maybe because of how they easily overpowered the opposing side? Anyway, I already love this and looking forward to more chapters, more wars, and more personal knights!!!

Authors' review!!!! Finally, after the second volume, I can come up with a decent review about this novel. I'm going to hit the nail on the head and avoid going around. Now, most readers think this work is just a copy and paste because of the title which I do love but I will like to correct that thought for you reading this review. Yes, in the first few chapters the upgrades seemed to be too fast and lacked depth but as the story progresses, it gets deeper and you can confirm it if you read. Asher, the MC is quite smart, he's rational and will not act stupid, i assure you of this. He has information about 'Boundless' and has used it at every chance he gets. Also, the romance tag isn't just to lure you. although the romance would be a bit slow, it will be satisfying. Expect it from the third volume! Come, join the ride of upgrades, new troops, pet beasts, war machines, scheming lords, expanding territories and epic wars! NO HAREM!!!
I don't know whether to call the MC brave, ignorant or someone with very little intelligence, because he has a power that can break the power scheme in every way and instead of being careful when using it, he uses it in front of everyone, no matter what. , in front of people who he is not sure would talk about what happened and I wonder every time he uses it...what would happen if those rumors reached a person with a higher rank within the empire, for example a duke, I suppose that in the novel nothing would happen to him, but if it were somewhat similar to real life, the mc would only have the option of becoming a slave, fleeing while being chased by the whole world or dying for being a threat.

No explaination how the system works! It just triggers at the whims of the author without any rules. Plus the MC is as stupid as all the other chinese mcs.
I read to chapter 82. in my opinion I would have really enjoyed reading this novel if it's basic framework would have been built better, it had been a lot more polished and they substituted the system for an actually powerful growth type talent. one of the biggest of of the novel is the system, its too broken spoilers but it makes Training his army completely irrelevant instead they all basically use an experience system because of that they got strong too fast but for some reason always struggle when fighting weaker enemies because they is a limit to how much a mob enemy can be strengthen before you trash the novel for making no sense so instead they give stupid reasons why the mc army is losing for convenience to actually have a fight scenes instead of a slaughter. the finally reason the novel isn't as good I wanted it to be is because of the mc, you would want to like him but it's hard, he is very stupid. I believe if the author removed the system and gave the mc a talent that can do what the system can do but as an actual talent and make it alot more natural making the training time in months and years, make the mc system support and help the designated people training faster and assist it breakthrough, give support while training combat techniques and ideas of new evolution methods for their pet beast but needing to get the materials themselves it would have been a whole lot better

Too easy. OP for no reason. Premise if the story is : you get an upgrade and you get an upgrade. Now all of you get an upgrade ... That's about it. No struggle at all. Not my cup of tea. Could be a personal preference.

this is a really great story but when it reaches chapter 240 or something near it, I can not flow it's pace and does not make much sense to it. i know author want to develop his character but for that the soldiers rebelled in silver town, I can understand he was careless there and forget to check the loyalty of soldiers from system but then the enemy duke sent an killer that wiped everyone in the castle and he does not activate his talent until everyone is dead even his pet and the reason the author gave is blood was evaporated by fire. then for that reason he goes into depression and leave on a solo adventure.,.... i don't want to write any more author according to me u r currently introducing many elements at a fast pace and here I am confused and flow of story is completely cut off.(new elements - I am(the god), new talent(zenith level - kyros), new territory, new power levels(the awaken or something), the people he is currently staying with( who r they) ) , just know the story is totally out of control and I can not connect any dots anymore

My god... I wanted to read a lord type novel, I'm very familiar with this sub-genre, and I'm also okay with the upgrade cheat, AND I had low expectations, just wanted something to pass time, but I cannot believe how bad it is. We are getting close to the 2024 and this is definitely the worst novel I've read this year. The flow of events are so random that I feel like someone wrote it while doing something else or even while drunk, or perhaps it's like it's written by chatgpt, because it doesn't feel natural at all. I've never seen a novel fail to explain its MCs cheat this badly. All system prompts seem to come randomly, sometimes upgrading, sometimes merging, MC power ups for no reason, there is no reasoning or structure or any weight. It's like I'm reading author's scattered thoughts rather than a story. Even the most basic story like "Oh I transmigrated, I have a territory to manage and my cheat is this, and I can use it like this and that" would be better. I'm not an author, and I'm pretty sure writing is harder than what it seems, but this is just not acceptable.
has potential but feels like rushed to much. the story is rushed feels like reading typical manhua, where many of the scenes and details are cut. we cant immerse to the story since the way it narrates lacks depth. you cant imagine much since there is not much details to the story.

Honestly this a a very nice and easy read. Sure there are some dark themes but as of chapter 52, it really easy to just sit and read. The arcs aren’t more than a couple of chapters. Almost zero info dumps which a lot of novels suffer from. The powerups are also fast enough to be useful and fun to read about, but also not so common that you start to get upset because the story’s moving too fast
Writing and sorry development are really good, only a few issue with how things are worded, you can obviously assume what he meant but they should get fixed at some point. Not a weeb MC and its not one of those novels that are pornagraphic novels half the time and it looking like he will actually find true love. I would recommend to give it a shot. I expect great things with this and and most the time I am disappointed with WebNovel being porn half the time or trash translated novels. THIS novel is a gem on this website.
I really liked how the story flows the birth of a child from our world 🌎 to a magical one. He figures out his path through trials and tribulations. A man who longs for adventure and experiences championship to loss. I hope for more chapters to follow his path of adventure
