Keira Hawkins thought that the new library patron, Nate, was disgusted by the birthmark decorating her face. But then, he asked to go on a date with her during their next meeting.
The innocence of love at the first sight turned dangerously annoying when Nate refused to leave her side.
Thankfully, with a mean slap to the face, done rightly in public by her mighty right hand, had rendered Nate to cease his nonsensical doings.
And yet...
One unsuspecting morning, she woke up on the most comfortable bed, in an unfamiliar room, cradled in the arms of a gorgeous man she crowned as the most annoying patron of the week.
"You're the one who came to me," whispered Nathaniel Wolfe – the mafia lord who reigns over the east side of the country.
It wouldn't be easy to shake him off.
Moreover when she found a locked door in the library basement - the entrance to where some lost treasures were hidden in the maze, or so Nate said.
Intrigued, Keira joined Nate on his quest to find the lost treasures before another mafia family find it first.

Viết đánh giáI find Nathaniel to be an interesting character--he seems like a pretty down-to-earth mob boss. Apart from the constant suggestive innuendos and being a stalker, he's quite likeable. Although, this is a satire, so I guess these two vices are a necessary part of his character. There were some grammar mistakes, but I really enjoyed the use of metaphors and similes in the descriptions--they were very vivid. Keira goes off on a tangent every so often and I sometimes find it hard to follow, but it seems these are just her wayward thought streams, which is also part of her character.
