Chương 1: Narcissist
"Shit how the hell can someone as perfect as I live an ordinary life, I was transmigrated for god's sake" spoke out a young boy about 14 years of age with long shoulder length black hair done in a semi ponytail one thick bang framing the right side of his face.
He was fairly attractive but his personality was a real turn off to put it simply, he was a complete narcissist.
Our protagonist Generic Self Insert or as his friends called him GSI, well he didn't have friends but you get the point, was an ordinary orphan (A/N: convenient) living in the mundane rock that was known as earth.
Aside from his narcissism, he wasn't too different from normal teenagers except he had what one would refer to as a mortal enemy.
Ever since he was a preschooler there was a girl he had known that had been placed in every class he'd ever had all the way to sophomore year.
She would constantly one-up him on anything he did, and much like him, she was also a huge narcissist. If one got a better score the other mastered a martial art, if one set a Guinness world record the other wrote a catchy 1 hit wonder song, if one learned a new language the other learned two you get the idea.
One day as the two were heading home, they lived in the same orphanage, a speeding truck-kun flew out driving at what seemed to be 200 miles an hour coming right at them, little did GSI know that truck-kun would sentence him the death penalty.
...what? Are you thinking he pushed the girl out of the way heroically sacrificing himself for her, hell no! GSI only looked after himself in fact he tried to push her into truck-kun but she pulled an Uno reverse card by judo flipping our protagonist into his death, while she managed to skirt by mostly unharmed.
The last thing GSI saw was her smug face before he died. What? Did you think the two secretly liked each other and that's why they were competing against each other all the time, the classic rivals to lovers... sorry to disappoint but they really hated each other.
The next time he opened his body he was in a world that wasn't his in a strange body. The body of one Narushi Suto, Naru for short, a handsome popular teen in the world of mha with a sub-par quirk, he was able to float and move around at a slower than walking speed, velocity.
GSI was excited when he reincarnated, I mean who wouldn't be he didn't have anything back home except the witch, and this way he'll finally be able to share the word of our Lord and savior GSI without getting weird looks. (A/N: he's delusional)
He decided right then and there he would be the number hero before creating his church of followers, unfortunately, one thing held him back from achieving his inevitable destiny.
"...how could it be so, how could perfection itself has such a mediocre quirk, DAMMIT!"
"Fear not my child, I haven't forgotten you in your time of need" called out a heavenly voice.
"Who was that" he starts frantically looking around "god?"
"Not quite my child, turn around"
So he did and staring back at him was a familiar sight of what had ended his life previously "is that you truck-kun?"
"Indeed"
"Why have you come before me?"
"To gift you something you'll find important before that let me tell you a tale of myself, I am a major god that gained sentience by the number of believers I obtained."
"From the moment I first developed sentience I knew I had a duty to fulfill the dreams of those that needed to be reincarnated I'd reincarnate them by force if I had to. Until one day I had my first of many accidents to come, I accidentally ran over the wrong target I had my course set for one Tony stark unfortunately I was on autopilot and ended up hitting a purple guy named Thanos."
"I was devasted, my first failure, I felt bad so I reincarnated him as a farmer in another world, to my surprise he was thankful apparently this is the perfect life he had wanted, he ended up adopting a bunch of kids and living out the rest of his days in peace."
"I asked if he wanted his fancy glove, but he said I could whatever with it so long as I gave it to people who would continue his mission about balance or population control or something... honestly I spaced out and by the time I zoned back in he was done, I was too embarrassed to ask him to repeat himself so I'm just giving out the shiny stones randomly."
"..."
"But it wasn't random, I'm the chosen one right?"
"Not really, I chose you and you're frien-
"That witch isn't my friend!" He was quick to argue
Truck-kun ignored him "-d out of convenience really, you were kinda there"
"Anyways I've spent too much time here, quickly pick one of the shiny rocks."
'I'll pretend I didn't hear the second part I'm definitely the chosen one' thought Naru arrogantly
'Truck-kun in all his glory might not have recognized the marvel universe he was in or the power of the stones, but I do'
'which one to choose, hmm'
"I'll pick the purple one" he decided
'Brute force will never not be cool'
"So be it" he waved one of his tires and the purple stone flew into Naru's right hand.
"Goodbye my child maybe we'll meet again" were truck-kun's final words before he drove away into a portal.
"...FUCK YEAH!!!" Naru suddenly screamed out startling the people within a 12 block distance, some even called the police thinking it was a villain with a voice enhancement quirk.
"I am the protagonist! Now nothing is standing in my way of total world dominat... I mean being a great hero..."
"I gotta go test this out, and if I remember correctly not only does the power stone enhance all physical attributes, it enhances any abilities one may have for example a mutant would have their ability enhanced considerably, and since quirks are basically mutations."
As he was talking to himself out in the open like an idiot he activated his quirk only for him to suddenly scream out like a little girl as his body shoots into the air at speed rivaling mach 1 leaving a spider web of cracks on his previous spot.
He panics and starts flailing around in the air before he calms down "d-deep breaths Naru, deep breaths, you can do this it's just like normal, only this time you'll fly much much faster."
He gently floats thousands of meters in the air he positions himself in a flying position reminiscent of a missile and shoots off actually breaking the sound barrier this time covered in glowing purple energy leaving behind a short trail behind his back.
(A/N: like captain marvel... or literally a million other superheroes.)
"Whoo-hoo!, this is the coolest thing that's ever happened to me" 'is that what Clark felt in man of steel when he first flew... wait I'm not going to be shot down am I' he thought before dismissing it 'who cares I'm invincible'
He had flown pretty far and was landing near a mountain he had encountered.
"This looks like as good a place as any to test my power" he let out a smirk before punching the air the gem on his hand glowing but not doing anything.
"What? Come one don't make me actually work ughhh"
Naru tries several times before getting the hang of it by visualizing not only the beam of destruction but the damage it would cause "maybe if I do it like thi- holy shit!" his attempt worked this time as his energy coated fist shot out a large purple beam of energy completely disintegrating the landscape it managed to pierce trees, rocks, and anything standing it's way, pretty sure he killed a deer too, monster.
"Now we are talking let's see how much havoc I can cause" and havoc he caused managing to kill half of the forest Wildlife and completely disintegrate the top part of the mountain he had to flee when he saw military jets approach his area. He flew away quickly.
What? Did he fly away because he was scared? Pfft, uh no he obviously was just... um... hungry and bored so he left.
But that just left one question in the boy's mind as he was flying away.
"WHERE THE FUCK AM I? HOW AM I GONNA GET BACK TO THE ORPHANAGE?"
Well, two questions.
(A/N: Don't expect too much conflict or physical struggles think of this like a Saitama story except written by a mediocre writer.)
