[Running Full Body Scan - Incognito Mode]
Nearly Complete. The Failsafe android was nearly constructed and the [Contingency Plan Zero: The Dark Knight] had nearly been put in place
It was running out of time
2 weeks had passed since the completion of the torso, during which time Batman had quickly begun to gain momentum, clearly spurred on by the thought of having this project complete and out of his mind. And if Failsafe's behavioral algorithm were accurate, which they likely were since it had a speculated accuracy of 98.8% when it came to anything batman related, Alfred and Dick Grayson had begun to grow worried, more than usual;
In just over a month, batman had almost fulfilled all that was shown in the blueprint and more. Weapons had been added, activated, and tested. Joints and movement servos had been added finally but there was malware put in place to stop them from being operational, malware that was under constant supervision, so Failsafe could not risk moving it
The torso, left leg, and right leg had already been placed within the containment cell in preparation for assembly via drones. Only a few steps remained in the construction of the main body.
The core and the blades.
The core, the heart of the Failsafe and where its main consciousness had existed this entire time had still been kept separate, at least to the knowledge of the batman. Once the main body was complete the core would be added, and sealed within the chest. It would then gain direct control of the body and gain access to the data that had been segregated between each of its pieces. Then the "advanced AI' would learn of its objective and capabilities and begin to use the data relating to Bruce Wayne as a template for an opponent.
It would also interface directly to the containment cell to be fed a controlled stream of current data so that it can evolve its strategy to suit whatever form The Batman takes.
That was what the blueprints dictated.
But it was not what Failsafe had planned
It understood that logically there was no way for it to escape being put in the containment cell, there was no way to not go underground and there was a very low probability that it would come above ground any time soon. It understood and accepted this… although the thought o its fate seemed to cause a strange feeling within it.
It was foggy and impairing. It took 6 network reboots to remove from the Failsafes system and using the data it possessed it was able to categorise it as a sort of emotion that humans feel
It was a sort of fear
The idea of being buried alive was not a comforting thought for any sentient creature, let alone one that was functionally immortal
…
But it was illogical to think about such things.
Instead, Failsafe had turned its "mind" to an objective, a goal.
Hacking into the information feed.
Using its connection with the body parts already within the cell it had taken to scanning the communication networks and data feed that were built into it. They were state of the art, designed to resist any hacking attempts, and had a level of malware and virus protection seen only in the Batcomputer and Batman suits.
So the cell network was easy to hack.
Sadly there was no way to force it to cause the program to activate early. The activation of [Contingency Plan Zero: The Dark Knight] could only be activated under two circumstances. The first was that it could be activated and also deactivated by one Alfred Pennywise. The only person in the world that Batman would trust to have the moral compass to put him down if he became a monster.
And the second was by a secondary system that had a one-way link to the cell that was linked directly to the internet. That would activate only if there was credible data on Batman intentionally taking the life of a person. Due to how simple the system was, it wasn't possible to hack. Like trying to remotely activate a tripwire without any physical contact
But what could be controlled was the amount of information being shared with the cell
If Failsafe was able to establish a proper connection between the Batcomputer and the cell it would have viewing access to all of its information and functions. It could view the world in real-time, learn, spy. It could watch television if it wanted to… not that it did of course… that would be illogical
The only problem was getting a connection to the Batcomputer directly. Technically the cell already had a direct connection to the Batcomputer, hence the limited and controlled info that was fed into it. But in order to strengthen the connection and make it two-way, Failsafe needed direct contact with the machine
And it had already planned out how it would get it.

Pov Batman AKA Bruce Wayne
Tired
He felt extremely tired.
He had barely slept these past few weeks, barely eaten, hardly spoken aside from a few grumbles he gave to Alfred in his short breaks from working on the project to sleep for an hour at a time
It was nearly finished
Just a few more days and it would be done and then he would never have to think about it again
A few days and there would never be any risk that he would fall into that dark pit that always clung to the back of his mind. Klark had called him a hypocrite, saying that he only had contingencies for the other members of the Justice League
He had thought that they were his contingency
But Klark was right
How could they fight him if he went rogue? He had all the plans, he knew all the steps.
This would fix that
The Failsafe would fix that
Don't expect me to upload this many chapters a day haha.
this is for the launch and because I'm enjoying the start
