In a world of black, we can see a lone soul floating about, talking to himself, making random noises, and playing with his hands across from him. him. We can also see a deity just staring at the soul curiously, as if it were uncommon for a soul to be floating in this void like this. Snapping his fingers, the deity and the not-so-lone soul are now seated across from each other, just blinking, waiting for the other to speak. "Hello, My name is &@%^&@ or Tom, and I was just traveling when I saw your soul floating in the void and wanted to ask how you got there," they said, sounding manly and womanly, young and old at the same time.
"Oh, well, well, to be honest, I have no idea. idea. I was just reading some webtoon illegally, and then I was there floating for how long? long? Don't ask me. I don't have a watch, but I was there for a while," the soul said, smiling.
"Well, that is strange, so how about I send you to a webtoon world? For my entertainment, you will spin a wheel, and every time it lands, it lands; it is where I am sending you along with a wheel for powers and such," they said, snapping again as three wheels appeared.
"Okay." That sounds cool. I hope I get a slice-of-life webtoon or something like Teenage Mercenary; that would be sick!!" He said he was almost jumping from his seat in excitement.
"Okay, go on and spin; we do not have all eternity," the deity said, smiling.
"Okay. . ....!!!" He said he was jumping up and running to the first wheel, jumping up and down.

"OOOH cool.... What is that? I don't remember reading something called TBATE." He asked, confused.
"NEXT!!" came the deity's voice.

[Mask of Illusion and Cloak of Protection]
"So how do the cloak and mask work?" he asked, wanting to know about them.
"Well, you will be the same age as the MC of that world, and when you unlock your magic, you will get them. Don't worry about size; when you get older, they will grow with you," the deity said as a portal appeared next to the soul. "Now off you go," the deity said as the portal pulled the soul in.

In a home, we can see a woman giving birth on a bed with a nurse around her and a worried-looking doctor as he tells her to push, but her pale faces tell me what he needs to know. Outside the room, we can see a fat, angry-looking man with a bit of worry written on his face. After a few hours, we can hear cries come from the room rushing in. The fat man looks at the woman on the bed. He falls to the ground with a face full of sadness and regret, looking at the baby in the arms of the nurse. He rages when the doctor stops him. "Don't blame the child; you know your wife was weak, and she also wanted this," the doctor said, pitying the man.
"I. I don't want anything to do with that baby. Take him. I can't look at it right now. I am sorry, I know, but..." He did not finish as he walked out of the room as the child once cried, now silent.
'Damn, this stinks. My old life was better. I at least had a family member to raise me, even if they were abusive,' he thought, upset. 'Anyway, this world has magic, so I should try and unlock that. I guess how should I go about this? Maybe try how they unlocked NEN in HXH; that could be a start," he thought as he went into a "meditated" state.
Three years later
Well, it has been three years. I am now able to see mana when I meditate. It was extremely hard getting them at first, but now I am so close to making my core. But about my father, well, he lives with me but does not care for me. He is buried in work, and when he looked at me, he seemed saddened every time we lived in a modest home with a library and found out he did not care for me. But the mana core system reminds me of The Beginning After the End, and singling out the capital letter, I get TBATE. Yeah, I know where I am fucking blows. Not gonna lie, this world is going to have a massive war in 13 years or so. For now, I am going to get my mana core, but I must go outside for that. I am so glad that, when I was three months old, we moved closer to the forest. Don't ask me why my father's idea.
Shit, I forgot about my name in this new world. I never get called it, but it's my name, Charlie Conter. Yeah, I know what a last name is, but hey, it's mine, so back off. I know how to fight well, but not very well. I have been in many fights in my old life. I did not win many, but I was in many. Now walking to the woods, I get into a meditating sitting pose and start collecting the rest of the mana for my core. When I see it complete, I push the mana out, thrust through my arm, and place it against the ground. I let it go.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH," I scream in pain as the mana gets pushed through my warmth, the ground shakes, and the area around me cracks as I fall, hitting the ground and blacking out.
