This novel has heavy references of chinese mythology, if you want to understand a little bit more about the subject I recommend "Journey to the west" "Investiture of the gods" or "The furious yama"
Pretty funny and interesting Chinese Webnovel, at time of writing it's an ongoing one Chinese Title 别怕，我不是魔头
another comedy transmigrating story, if uses slapstick comedy. the problem is its fast paced and rely on info dumps. the backstop is, he was forced to join a evil sect, so he practices evil sect techniques but he was sent to spy on a righteous sect where he decides to switch sides but still practice evil techniques, Han: that was a evil technique, you used to kill him! MC:yes it was but he was a evil sect spy, Han:he was my younger brother!MC: he was the one who killed your sister using a evil technique to steal her talent, because how else could a waste let him suddenly improve so much. (did not happen but example of faceslap and info dump afterwards).
This novel is undoubtedly one of my favourites, the characters are well developed and our MC is a really funny fellow, intelligent and shameless yet has a heart of ‘justice’. It’s one of the few novels that make me laugh and amused at how the MC behaves. This novel gives me very similar feelings to “I am loaded with passive skills” and that’s one of the reasons why I enjoy it a lot, the MC is very similar to Xu Xiaoshou.
