They only had to wait for a few seconds before they were all dragged back, their bodies full of bruises and broken bones.
"Don't these idiots fight back?" Alex asked as he looked at the group in disgust.
"They can, but unfortunately for them, you didn't give them a chance, did you?"
"Yes, but they gave up too soon… I thought it'll be fun."
"Ahahaha leave it. If you want fun, you can always fight me."
"No thanks. Bombarda Maxima!" Alex said without moving his eyes away from the clustered group of men as he pointed his wand.
To nobody's surprise, the limbs, flesh, organs and bones flew out from the area leave none alive.
Han raised his eyebrows in surprise as he looked at Alex, "You didn't have to be so … ruthless."
"Says the person who everyone here is scared of… I wonder what kinds of things you did in the past."
"All I did was pull out the blood of people…"
"And you say that my methods are ruthless… There is a limit to shamelessness, old man Han."
Han sighed, "Anyways, since the problem is already dealt with, I'll get back."
"Wait… take me to the Azure Dragon sect first."
"Do you consider this old man as your transportation means?"
"No no, I'm just asking for your help."
"Oh well… Come here." Said Han and without waiting for Alex, grabbed his hand tightly before apparating over to the sect and before Alex could thank him, he was gone.
Alex looked at the long stairway before he started climbing and about fifty steps later, he was panting and finally, he collapsed on the sixty ninth step.
After that, he simply used his ropes to fly up instead of wasting his time doing things the hard way and a few minutes later, he arrived in front of a large gate that was guarded by two people.
"Excuse me, I would like to buy some things from your sect. Could any one of you please guide me?"
"Guest, please go inside. We are sorry but we cannot leave our posts. You can ask someone inside to help you out."
Alex nodded and the two of them opened the gates.
He didn't really need anyone's help to find the store as he could see it the moment he entered. He swallowed one of the language comprehension pills as the effect of the last pill would wear off soon and headed inside the shop.
"Excuse me, I would like to buy some ingredients for pill making."
"Please tell me what you would like to buy, sir."
"Here's the list. Just pack everything for me please." Alex placed a long sheet of paper that was filled with the names of various ingredients.
The man behind the counter read the list and the quantities that were written beside them and stammered,
"S…S…S… Sir, are you sure t..t..that you will buy all of these?"
"Yes. You can take your time. I'll simply wait here."
Although Alex told him to take his time to gather everything for him, the man seemed to be in so much of a hurry that it looked like he would die if he slowed down.
Packing everything took them almost two hours and after everything was done, Alex received another one of the space rings.
"Esteemed guest, the sect master wants to meet you."
"Uh… I actually am in a hurry to go to another place. Tell your sect master that I'm sorry and helpless about this situation."
"This old man understands. Um, sir. You forgot to pay."
"Ah yes, sorry about that…. How much did everything cost?"
"About a hundred thousand taels."
"Here you go…" said Alex as he let a hundred taels fall on the counter before he used his rope to fly over to one of the transportation hubs nearby. The whole place was packed with people and Alex had to struggle to search for the board that said Scarlet Phoenix sect as he was way shorter than the others.
Luckily for him, it was quite nearby and he could spot it when he was climbing the stairs. He rushed over as he weaved through the gaps between people and finally arrived in front of a large circular metal platform.
[Ten taels for a day's use] was written on the wall beside the entrance and an arrow pointed downwards towards a small box.
Alex dropped ten taels into the box and felt the back of his hand burn.
"Oucch… ssssss" he hissed at the end when he saw a red burn mark which had a shape of a sword.
"Now what?..." he muttered as he took a step forward onto the platform and nothing happened.
He waited for a while and the sword on his hand burned again while he winced in pain. His surroundings had changed when he was focused on the pain on his hand. Alex looked around and saw only girls and women walking around.
He approached a girl near him, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I can buy a few ingredients?"
"Um… yes. Just follow this stone pathway and you should be able to see it."
Alex thanked her before he followed the stone pathway. The sect was huge as he had walked for almost an hour and was still unable to find the shop.
After a few more minutes when he was about to start doubting the girl's words, he saw the store. It looked exactly the same as the one he saw in Azure Dragon sect.
There was a woman behind the counter this time and Alex did the same thing as he placed the list on the counter and asked her to get him everything listed there.
While the woman didn't stutter like the man, she cried happy tears and literally emptied the whole shop for him.
She gave him a space ring filled with materials and Alex probed it with his magic to check if there was anything missing but the only thing he found was that the lady had only given him extra.
"Thank you. How much did it cost?"
