To pass time, he took out one of Snape's books and began reading. It wasn't a book about potions but instead, it had contents on the topic of spell creation.
"Ah… he did create spells when he was a student. I just didn't expect that there would be a book that taught people how spells were created." He muttered, at least that was what he thought.
Unfortunately for him, he was so used to being alone in the room of requirements that he had gotten used to "muttering" loudly.
"Who created spells?" said a familiar voice from outside the door.
Alex turned around and saw Michael, Terry and Anthony entering the room. He closed the book and placed it beside him before saying anything.
"What book is it?" asked Terry as he walked closer. He seemed a bit aggressive in his approach which made Alex put his guard up.
"It's a book that was given to me by Professor Flitwick. I'm supposed to return it to him by tomorrow. Why do you ask?"
"Oh… it's nothing. Can I have a look at it?"
"No. You know the rules, Terry. Ravenclaws don't share books. Especially the ones that are rare."
"Don't be like that, Alex. We are all classmates, aren't we?" said Michael from behind Terry.
"Seriously…" said muttered Alex, this time he wasn't that loud.
Terry was standing right in front of him as he reached out for the book beside him. Something snapped in Alex as he waved his wand so fast that the trio couldn't even react before they were hanging upside down.
"HEY! Put us back down!" cried Anthony, only to see Alex pull his fist back and land a powerful punch right in his gut.
"There is a limit to my patience assholes. Classmates you say? Where did your camaraderie go when we had assignments and I was injured in the hospital ward? Where did it go when me and Aman asked for the gist of the stuff taught while we were absent?
Even the Slytherins can be considered as humans compared to you snakes. If you ever try to bother me or Aman, trust me, I will make sure you regret staying alive."
Unfortunately for Alex, the three seemed to take his threat lightly as Terry and the others tried to punch him although they were hanging upside down..
"Fricking hell… you don't really understand your position, do you? Let me teach you guys what you get for annoying me when I already feel so irritated!!"
Alex felt his temper rise to its peak as he rained punches down on their faces, only to be stopped by a bunch of seniors and Aman who seemed to have heard the three of them scream.
By the time they got the three down on the floor, Alex was fast asleep and no matter what method they used, he didn't wake up.
"We might have to take these four to the hospital wing.", a third-year guy said as he carried Terry and Anthony over his shoulders while two other guys lifted Alex and Michael.
Aman followed the group until the great hall before telling Hannah and Susan about what had happened. Then he ran off to the hospital wing where he was kicked out as Poppy wanted her patients to rest.

While the Ravenclaw trio were discharged the next morning, Alex was trapped in a dream. A dream where he was killed by Voldemort before he could even complete his first year.
It was a cycle that played in loop while he tried various methods to get past the fate of death, only to fail every single time.
Fortunately for him, he was woken up by Poppy who looked worried when he focused on her facial expression.
"… why am I here? Don't tell me everything was a dream and only a night passed after my broom accident."
"No, but you fell asleep for some reason and didn't wake up for two whole days. There is no problem with your body so you can start attending classes now."
"Oh… alright. Thank you for taking care of me." He climbed off the bead and headed out, only to see the castle decorated with spooky theme.
'Two days… Halloween. Ah man… I just woke up and now I have to deal with the class erection that stands up every time there's a question asked. Hopefully Ron didn't talk smack to make her cry since I don't really want to deal with her right now.
But if he did, I also can't ignore it since a death inside Hogwarts might just limit my freedom and in the worst case scenario, the whole school's structure might change.'
He didn't want to see a single death inside Hogwarts as he did not know how it would affect his plans.
He seemed to be right on time as he saw Quirrel run into the great hall. Without wasting any time, he followed after him. He spotted a large board that was currently empty and the two game boards attached to the walls.
By the time he joined Aman in the Ravenclaw table, the prefects were given orders to take the students back to the dormitories.
Alex kept an eye on the Gryffindor table where the bushy haired nerd was absent. While he was being escorted out, he observed Harry and Ron.
The two of them followed the other Gryffindors to their dormitories and seemed to have no intension of sneaking out which make Alex curse them in his mind.
It didn't take him too much effort to separate from the group as there was a lot of chaos. He simply moved away from the line and used a confusion charm that was weak but worked on a large area to slip past everyone's sight and the disillusionment charm to make sure no one saw him later.
He ran to the girl's bathroom and when he reached the corridor, he heard a high-pitched scream which was undoubtedly Hermione's.
It only took him a few seconds to reach the bathroom but when he was there, he saw the troll raising its club as it looked down upon the frail girl whose face was streaked with tears.
