Chương 389: Chapter 389: Mother Flame
"C-C'mon, t-ten more!" Muttered Diddy with an ugly expression as he gasped for breath, only for him to squat once more, his legs aggressively shaking as if they were about to give way.
Every squat was increasingly more difficult than the last; each one caused me to think I was going to fail, yet after several deep breaths, numerous minutes, and nine more strenuous movements, I finally finished my initial goal of squatting.
"1-1,000!" Yelled Diddy loudly with joy as he released a mighty roar into the sky that was heard throughout the whole island, causing numerous Giants to awaken.
I wanted to toss the tree off my back, yet before I could, I quickly realized I was still in the middle of the city, so if I did that, I'd end up crushing hundreds if not thousands of Giants, and considering the whole point of me carrying this tree was to prevent that, I couldn't do that now.
"Tsk, so a little post-workout? Fine, I can do that…" Said Diddy with a click of his tongue before smirking as he stepped forward, his leg nearly buckling in the process.
"... M-Maybe." Added Diddy hesitantly as he took his time between each step, though considering he had just finished working out, it didn't make a difference in the end.
After a torturous few hours, I finally arrived near the shore, and without any hesitation, I removed the tree from my back and tossed it barely a few feet in front of me, causing the island to tremble violently while I collapsed onto the ground right beside it. My legs were in agonizing pain; even so, I couldn't help but smile since it was a fantastic training session.
"I-I'm hungry… And tired." Said Diddy softly as he stared into the sky before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

I would've continued to sleep soundly, but the constant rumbling of the island had stirred me awake, and so, with a groan, I rolled onto my side and opened my eyes only to see the beautiful full moon, causing me to faintly smirk.
'Huh, didn't realize today was the full moon.' Thought Diddy as he stared at the full moon, his yellowish eyes turning bright red.
I had actually been waiting for the full moon since the stupid disease Doc Q infected me with was still running through my body, and I couldn't use my Sulong form; I figured the only way for the disease to be overpowered was if I were to transform naturally, and from the sensation I was getting, my assumption was correct.
Feeling that savage power freely coursing through my body, I quietly chuckled as I slowly began to transform; my body grew until I was roughly three times my normal size while my fur took on a bright silverish sheen that reflected the moonlight. My fangs enlarged, and my nails grew to the size of actual claws; my tail got very bushy, something Trenza loved, but it was even more deadly than before.
"Hehehe, it's been some time since I've felt this power course through my body. It's addictive; I feel invincible with this much strength." Muttered Diddy with a raspy voice as he stood up while gazing down at his body, eyeing his muscles, which were hidden beneath his silverish fur.
I had to be careful with my movements since I wasn't accustomed to my own strength in my Sulong state, as I've gotten much stronger compared to the last time I used it; however, that didn't mean I wouldn't have a little bit of fun.
"ROAAAARRRRRRR!!" Yelled Diddy loudly as he roared toward the sky while expelling his haki, allowing it to spread violently throughout Elbaf and far beyond.

"D-Damn it all to hell!" Stated Blackbeard furiously as he gnashed his teeth while staring toward Elbaf with fear flashing through his eyes.
"Heh, such powerful haki is terrifying." Muttered Kuzan softly as he guzzled alcohol with every other Blackbeard Commander agreeing with him.
"The Marines have no chance against such a beast." Said Shiryu lightly as he sharpened his blade while staring into the sky, subtly shivering as the haki washed over him

"I thought you said the Frenzy Pirates were at Elbaf!?" Exclaimed Akainu angrily as he glared at the man before him, who was cowering in fear.
"T-They are, F-Fleet Admiral." "T-Then why can I still feel that bastard's haki!?" Remarked the man and Akainu, respectively, as the latter glared at the former, who continued to cower in fear from the oppressive haki that washed throughout Marineford.
"Tsk, we're still not yet ready." Muttered Akainu angrily as he slammed his fist into his desk, breaking it in half.

"We should test this Mother Flame to see how strong it is. That will judge how we are to deal with Egghead." Said Peter lightly as he, Saturn, Warcury, Mars, and Nusjuro gazed at a single transponder snail sitting on the center of the table.
"Lulusia-" Said the transponder snail, yet whoever was on the other side couldn't finish speaking since, although faint, a mighty wave of haki rushed throughout Mariejois, knocking nearly every Celestial Dragon unconscious.
"That mink." Muttered Saturn lightly as he gripped his cane while vividly sensing the oppressive haki.
"Isn't he supposed to be at Elbaf?" Asked Nusjuro with a slight frown as he glanced at his fellow Elders, who all nodded.
"It seems he could prove to be a real problem if nothing is done." Said Warcury with a deep frown as he slightly hummed to himself, only for the transponder snail to open its mouth.
"Elbaf…" Said the transponder snail, their words confusing everyone.
"Elbaf? Ah, Lord Imu must be referring to the Motherflame." Said Mars with a raised eyebrow, his words causing the others to nod in agreement.
"It is unfortunate as the warriors of Elbaf are powerful, but it's better if they cease to exist." "Yes, we've been too lenient with Elbaf and its residents." Stated Peter and Saturn, respectively, as they glanced at each other before nodding.
"It shall be done, Lord Imu." Said Warcury solemnly with a nod, his words causing the transponder snail to go silently before falling asleep.

"Ahh, that feels great." Muttered Diddy with a smirk as he stopped roaring into the sky and retracted his haki, which had been felt all throughout New World.
Now that I got that out of the way, I leaped into the air and propelled myself through the sky as I headed back to the town where I initially arrived with Trenza, but because of my lack of control, I ended up causing damage to the island, which I didn't really care about, but I wasn't trying to kill all of my soon to be cannon fodder.
'Eh, I'm sure it'll be fine if a few die here and there.' Thought Diddy lightly with a shake of his head as he fell to the island, only to gracefully land beside the destroyed well.
Seeing no one, I tilted my head in confusion before simply using my haki as I quickly dashed through the forest, arriving at what seemed to be the fifth town my crew had ravaged before I finally met up with them.
"Mhm, you're looking sexy, Captain." Muttered Trenza softly with a growl as she bit her lip while staring at Diddy, specifically his crotch.
"Haa, you wouldn't survive, dear." Said Sebas with a sigh as he glanced at Trenza, who pouted with a nod before leaping towards Diddy with a massive smile.
"Even so, I still got this fluffy tail to snuggle with!" Remarked Trenza with a grin as she hugged Diddy's bushy tail, rubbing her face against it.
Ignoring Trenza, I turned and glanced at Sebas before looking at Janet, who was imprisoning every Giant within a picture, though only after Chala and Grand gave them a thorough beating.
"How many Giants have we captured?" Asked Diddy as he glanced at Sebas, who cleared his throat first before speaking.
"Ms. Janet has captured roughly 276 Giants; most are ordinary civilians, but they will still serve as good cannon– Is something the matter, Captain?" Replied Sebas lightly as he patted his chest and gestured to Janet, only to furrow his brows when he saw Diddy fixedly staring at the sky.
"Hehe, something very dangerous is coming… I can sense it. Whoever or whatever it is… it wants me dead." Stated Diddy with a feral grin as he licked his overgrown fangs while staring into the sky with his vertical slit eyes.
"Dangerous? What should we do?" Asked solemnly as he glanced at Diddy before staring into the sky, squinting yet even so, he noticed nothing.
"We? Nothing; continue capturing Giants… I'll handle it." Declared Diddy with a grin as he flicked his tail, launching Trenza into the air while kicking off the ground, rapidly leaping into the air.
Grasping Naga-sa off my back, I infused Nimbus into it and coated it with both haki and lighting as I propelled myself ever higher into the air, though it didn't take long for what I was sensing to finally appear as numerous bright beams of pure destruction seemingly fell from the heavens.
The power they carried was unimaginable and was capable of erasing this entire island from the face of the world, yet that didn't stop me as I summoned forth all of my strength while enlarging Naga-sa until it was the same size as the tree from before.
Tightly clenching my bo-staff, I continued towards the numerous attacks that illuminated the night sky before I swung at it with every ounce of my strength.
"BEASTLY ANNIHILATION!" Yelled Diddy as Naga-sa collided with numerous attacks, creating a mighty explosion that briefly turned night into day.
