Viết đánh giáThe pacing starts slow but gradually builds momentum. The early chapters focus on worldbuilding and Klein’s survival, while later arcs become increasingly intense and mind-blowing. The writing (even in translation) is polished, immersive, and filled with foreshadowing, rewarding attentive readers
Great read and contains the the apocalypse arc which is the best arc for me, obviously overall not the same level as book 1 but still great.
Tiết lộ SpoilerThe characters were fine and the story is interesting. There were some parts that seemed like a slough to get through but there were few and far between the book. Overall it was a pretty solid read.
It's another satisfying book from Cuttle Fish. The plot, character, and settings are well written. It sure is a must read sequel for LOTM fans. But if you haven't read LOTM, you would soon want to read it, because you'd realize that if the sequence is this much enjoyable, surely Lord of The Mysteries will be worth to be read too.. Thanks CF, a really well written book
Cuttlefish became a dragon who soars into the heavens, very happy i wan born in this era and was able to read your books, lord of the mysteries and cercle of inevitability were wonderful, impactful, thoughtful, my life isn't what it was before reading these books
just another top-notch book by the author, but like lord of the mysteries the ending felt rushed and inconclusive a bit, I wouldn't let that deter you though, the story and world building overall will always be my favorite
A great second season yet very different from the first one. In the first season, the MC is driven by angst and threats. He was constantly fighting for survival. He was in the light, uncovering the darkness behind. And in the end, he left to fight it. In this second season hoever, the MC is driven by hope and pain. He's constantly fighting for hope and against the pain, that comes along. He's in the darkness, searching for the light.

Tiết lộ SpoilerOverall not as good as the first one but I truly like the "potion and ritual" aspect of the power scaling. My biggest complaint about this sequel is not about Lumian or the "power leveling" but all that was left untouched. I understand that there was no way to cohesively explore all of the paths but it sure would have been interesting to get to understand them more and revel in their quirks. I truly enjoyed that despite the issues that you finished the book out. Thank you for your perseverance. Also while I know you protested about writing sequels perhaps you could go with converging or separate stories in the same universe as I truly enjoyed the worlds you created.
It's one of my absolute favorite novels. Amazing structure, plot, character development, and world building. Cuttlefish obviously worked hard to expand on an already expansive and thrilling world and story, and he didn't let us down. LotM and CoI will forever be in my top ten novels of all time. Amazingly original and a story that seems truly loved by its author and fans. It was a wonderful work by an awesome author. Much love and thanks to you, Cuttlefish.
The ending was fine although the ending should have been the klein, amanises and lumian being pushed to the brink and having lumian truly embody the termination symbolism (klein using fooling, deceit and change) to disrupt the symbolism substitution.
Tiết lộ SpoilerENDING SPOILER, BEWARE Ending was incredibly disappointing, having the whole book pretty much just be both sides get a few more GOO's on their side, while not being able to see the final fight, is INCREDIBLY disappointing, aside from that, I enjoyed the book though, wish Lumian showed more aspects of his corruption, kinda just felt like CF was saying he had it, without anything actually happening with it, or affecting the story
Tiết lộ SpoilerWHAT A WONDERFUL AMAZING FANTASTIC STORY!! I WAIT IT FOR TWO YEARS!! SO HAPPY TO READ THE BOOK AGAIN! I LOVE CHINESE ONLINE NOVELS SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An immense disappointment. Seriously what the hell happened at the end. I’ll just consider this fan fiction and gaslight myself into thinking that lotm book 1 is all there is.
Very interesting and has a different style from the LOM. But it's interesting and leans now heavily towards supernatural horror. Escalated real quickly in chapters 1100+
Tiết lộ SpoilerThe story had a couple of problems from the start, but the breaking point for me was the character of franca as a whole.
other than translate, really amazing a book but thanks idiot translator i cant able enjoy even half. Not like he doing this job for free, if he cant able do his job then must leave others.
Having just finished the latest chapter of the sequel, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this much-anticipated continuation. From the outset, the sequel presents a different and slower pacing that makes it feel almost like a standalone novel. The initial chapters drag, lacking the gripping momentum that characterized the first book. As the story progresses, I found myself increasingly disappointed by the lack of direct continuation from where Lord of the Mysteries left off. While the narrative does gradually integrate some elements from the original story, the overall tone and approach feel distinct, but not necessarily in a favorable way. One of my main concerns is the protagonist's overwhelming plot armor. He consistently navigates challenges with an ease that feels unearned, transitioning from a naive country bumpkin to someone capable of offering profound insights to seasoned, powerful characters from the first book. This rapid development in intellect and skill undermines the character's authenticity, making his journey less relatable and engaging. The sequel heavily emphasizes themes of friendship and relationships, which could be compelling, but at times it feels excessively sentimental and overdone, diluting the high-stakes tension that fans expect. Moreover, the pacing is inconsistent, with excessive exposition and information that complicate rather than clarify the narrative. Important plot developments feel rushed or convoluted, leaving readers grappling with too many details without a clear direction. Characters from the first book seem to lose their initial charm, with their motivations and personalities becoming muddied, leading to interactions that lack the emotional depth and significance that we had come to appreciate. The introduction of Mr. Fool is perhaps the most significant disappointment for me. The way the author presents his awakening feels unnatural and flat, lacking the grandeur or buildup that such an enigmatic character deserves. In the first novel, the author masterfully utilized the misunderstanding trope, creating a rich tapestry of intrigue and suspense. However, this sequel neglects that brilliant aspect, primarily because Mr. Fool doesn’t awaken until chapter 1032. During the course of the second book, the protagonist and his friends somehow keep unraveling the mysteries surrounding Mr. Fool—mysteries that only we, as readers, are privy to, aside from a few significant characters from the first book. This shift in focus diminishes the intrigue and excitement surrounding Mr. Fool’s character, transforming him from a compelling figure into a mere plot device. Overall, this sequel feels like a complete misstep. It fails to stand on its own while also falling short of the legacy established by its predecessor. The narrative lacks the cohesiveness and depth that made Lord of the Mysteries a standout title in the web novel sphere. I find it hard to accept this as a true sequel, and it has left me with a profound sense of disappointment that lingers long after finishing. Fans of the original may find themselves struggling to reconcile the promise of the sequel with the reality presented in its pages.
One of the best world building in all of fiction and by far the most interesting and complex power system ever created. Amazing variety of characters each with unique traits and mind blowing plot twists with impeccable foreshadowing. Lord of the Mysteries Bk2 Circle of Inevitability definitely deserves the its rankings and it ratings. Thank You Cuttlefish that loves Diving for such a wondrous work of art
