Ok it’s explained later so very mild spoiler: Apparently they don’t know what the child of calamity affinity’s is. Weird but since they never let them grow up it apparently never came up.
Now the lightning Manor must know that Shang has a twilight affinity because it’s what he used in the Temple of Blood. they also know that back in area 23 Shang used his fire and ice affinity’s. Are they now aware that he is the child of calamity? How could they not?
Why don’t people train in them if the time dilation is that good?

This had potential, started confusing but just kept on getting better and better. It’s too bad that the author screwed his release schedule even more than it was by deciding to simultaneously write an other novel.
Is the spirit ranking the same as the monster’s? Because if a peak rank 6 monster is equivalent to an 8 kingdom human than how strong is a rank 10 spirit?? (rank 10 because they said beyond rank 9 but still unconfirmed)

But if he kills himself she won’t get the same ending as the one in the book. She only suffers because her brother becomes a villain. So if he doesn’t then no problem.
And maybe after doing all that , I can get my peaceful rest with the calm darkness again.
