Viết đánh giáAs we approach our 100th chapter, I'd like to share my review of the story so far. While I acknowledge that it may not be a perfect 5-star rating, I firmly believe that the story I aim to tell is worth the rating I've given it. Admittedly, the progression can be a bit slow, and there are moments when the MC's actions may seem unintelligent or lazy. However, I urge readers to stick with the story until at least the 50th chapter before making any final judgments and dropping hateful comments. If, after giving it a fair chance until 50 chapters, the story still doesn't resonate with you... Then I can always see you in my next story. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask in the comments, and I'll do my best to address them. Regarding some common criticisms from a few readers: The MC may appear lazy or unproductive at times, but this is due to the lack of available resources that he can use at the current point in the plot. However, he gradually becomes more proactive as the story unfolds. The MC is not a weak or pathetic (he does act like it in the start but don't be fooled), and I can only ask that you read further to see how his character develops. The pacing of the story may be a bit slow in the beginning, (too much monologues) but it does pick up as the plot progresses.
Reading the first 200 chapters totally put a smile on my face. The story's about this MC who gets killed by the original novel's author and ends up as a third-rate villain in the book. Early on, because of his bad rep, the MC manipulates some events to get some positive attention. It's an interesting ride to see how he tries to get characters on his side, using anything necessary. There's also his journey to get stronger. But the MC's not inherently evil; he's still got a moral compass. There are characters like him who are way worse. Now, about the MC: he's from a high-class noble and ruling family. He was originally a prodigy and a genius, but his talent's only gold-rated, which is nothing to sneeze at, but it's not as good as his sister and twin brother. His situation gets all screwed up, and he ends up with a rocky relationship with his family and his childhood friend, Amilia. Amilia's the MC's childhood friend, and I'm digging her as the story's heroine. She's the second smartest in their class after the MC. Because of their past, she's always starting fights with him. But then they start to patch things up, and those old feelings start to resurface. After a while, though, it's like her IQ drop. She's just following him around, helping out, and it's killing her early character vibe. A lot of the MC's moves are pretty reckless, and some are totally driven by emotion. It'd be cool if there were characters who could banter with him and argue with his like early story. Just a heads up, the MC's still keeping a lot of stuff in the dark from her and his friends. This dude's got some trust issues for sure. It's rough when the MC has to shoulder the whole story by himself, especially when he's all prideful, a bit selfish, and gives off those tsundere vibes. Some readers might not be feeling this MC and want to see him grow. Like I mentioned earlier, the early story was fire because having a main cast that argues and banters with the MC keeps things interesting. But by the later chapters, everyone's pretty much cool with the MC's attitude, and that makes the story feel flat compared to before. The original protagonist could be the one to shake things up, but the author really needs to let him have his moment in the spotlight. Then there's Anastasia, who's part of the MC's crew and has a crush for the original protagonist. Her character seems like it could use some more depth. So, the main team's got five members: the MC, the original protagonist, Amilia, Anastasia, and Ken. Poor Ken, he's pretty much the comic relief, and his unrequited love is just sad. When you've got a cast of five, you've got to give each one their moment to shine. That'd make for a awesome story. But right now, it's all about the MC. After hitting chapter 400, it feels like the author's losing steam, and it's a bummer. This is a tough spot for a lot of writers, and some just rush it or lose interest. But there are still a some of mysteries that our genius MC is overthinking, so I think author will make more chapters.
I loved this web novel, even in the first hundred when it is supposedly bad. It's a bit slow in some parts but it is well paced in most places. For me personally, I enjoy the mc's personality. The only reason I'm not doing 5 stars is because of no update in a long time. I'd take a terrible ending than a dropped web novel tbh. And if it's burn out, then that sucks.
it's been more that a year and i think it's time for me to go. once in a while i will come to see if this masterpiece got any new chapters but until then goodbye. hope u all the best author
This is actually one of my favorite novels on this site. The first 50 chapters are bad. Just get past chapter 50 and its peak fiction from there. This novel has that Lebron 3-1 finals type comeback. Everything gets better from chapter 50, so just keep holding on till then.
I wasn't expecting much when I first started reading this novel, however, as I got further into the novel I realized that this was actually an amazing novel. I really loved the world building, the characters and their interactions as well as their relationships(Leo the official-unofficial father). To my utter dismay I realized -quite too soon- that the novel had stopped getting updates. By that time I was too far in to just drop the novel so here I am, half a year later, waiting for the next chapter to drop. Dear Author, if you read this comment, please please please don't drop this novel. It is, in my opinion, a top tier novel. One that I won't be forgetting and will want to keep on rereading it. So please, keep updating this gem.
Finally looking back on this, it’s been over a year since it was last updated. Really enjoyed the novel and loved keeping up to date with it, back when it was still updating. Would love to see new chapters 🙏
so bro got actually killed by lucas 😭. i never knew the novel would be about the actual author life
Brooo.... I beg you, PLEAAASE continue writing, I'll give you Whatever you want and support you till the end, and btw there are A LOT of fans of this novel waiting for just 1 chap So please pick it up Where you left it Thank yoh[img=recommend]
U see I have read so many novel I have lost count and I'm still searching for more and also I see many sitcom and series (u will see later y I'm saying these words) and now come this novel ! I feel this novels mc is more like Ayanokoji and many other mc ik I'm saying this bcz he is not like ur genric mc , this guy has that aura about him and is very awesomely written my the author! And I think author has seen many sitcoms too!! bcz character Kent in the novel is more like Barney Stinson 🤣 from how I met your mother! his starting words in the novel to mc is same how Barney Stinson became friend with Ted Mosby and there are many names comes from the same sitcom anyways I have not completed the novel but is good till now
Hello there! I like strories this. It may initially seem similar to others, but then it takes you in a different direction and at that point it is already difficult to tear yourself away and you are still waiting for what will happen next and how the hero will cope and redirect this or that event. So at the end of the second volume, the main question is brewing in me. Is this work dropped or finished (doesn't it seem so)? @Night_Crawler619, please clarify the status of the work (っ╥╯﹏╰╥c)
this novel is the best novel I read recently , bro made a whole other novel just as background of the villain. but for some reason this one stopped i wish it comes back
I hope the Author of this story is doing ok, it has a surprisingly rich world story for being as complicated as it seems, character development is reasonable and logical, only reason I rate update consistency lower is our poor author has been gone for months. Author I hope this comment finds you in good health, I’ll still be here for the story whenever you have time to come back to it, thank you for the work you’ve put into this!
This is not a review but a message for our dear author. It's been a while since your last update. I just want to let you know that I'm still patiently waiting for your return. I miss your story and I hope this won't be abandoned. You're an excellent writer and your story is what I'm excited to read every time it updates. If you're having any difficulties, please take your time. I just want to let you know that there are still a fan of you who is willing to wait for your return. God bless you 😇🙏
--- Hi [Night_Crawler619], I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to let you know how much we've missed your updates. Your stories have been such a joy to read, and the time without them feels a little emptier. Your writing means a lot to us, and we truly hope you'll return when you're ready. Take care, and know that we’ll be here waiting eagerly for your next work! (Please come back) (Please come back) (Come back...) (What would Lucas do?) What is a story? Who is our Author Why do we fight? Can you answer them... Author?
Yes, our brother finally returned, after so many months. Hope you start writing again. I will always be waiting for your book.
Just writing this review to let you know that your total book count in your profile has increased by 1. Now, it is 998 which was 997 when I last saw it.
So, Author-san, I see you’re actually reading books... That’s good to hear! By the way, the main reason I’m writing this review is to let you know that your total reading count on your profile has gone up from 528.4 to 528.9. That means you’ve put in about 5 hours, maybe even more. But who really knows? Only you, the author, can say for sure.
Got you, Author! I knew it—you’re not actually dead. How much longer is this break going to be? It’s already been pretty long, and honestly, I’m not even sure if I’ll live to see this novel finished. I know you’re reading this. I’m a hundred percent sure. I’ve been watching your activity, and I’ve noticed your book count and reading time keep increasing. That proves you’re still around—you’re just not commenting so people won’t realize you’re active. Yesterday, you had 995 books read with 528.3 hours logged. Today, it’s 997 books and 528.4 hours. You can’t hide! I understand why you’re not replying—if you did, fans would start pestering you about when you’re coming back. Bro, take all the time you need—whether it’s a year or two, it doesn’t matter. Just make sure you return. I’ll keep an eye on your profile and book count until you start updating the novel again and also you will be frequently getting reviews from now on...
Don't know why it's rate so high, this novel is dogsh*t. From the cringy dude/bro humor, the contradiction of the mc being the smartest idiot in the room, and the author telling us to read 50 chapters of boring dragged out slop for the potential of good story...nah I'm good.
I downloaded Webnovel just to read this..... 10/10 no regrets will re-read again shortly. Will wish for this to be picked back up and continued genuine peak!
Okay, now I believe the main character did manage to kill the author of this piece after all, depriving us of the continuation of the story.
This really was one of the best stories in this genre till it was updated. I don't know what is going on in the author's life -- maybe he graduated and landed a full-time job, so it's hard to write for him. Maybe he's recovering from that surgery he had, or maybe he really is pregnant like some of his readers claimed (lol!) -- but I really wished to have seen this story's ending. On that note, I want to thank you, author. Night_Crawler619, you have inspired me to write my own novel. I will write a similar story to this and try to give it an ending. I was depressed when I started reading novels. I read your story and some of the other ongoing WNs Shadow Slave, Void Evolution System, Inheritor of Magic, etc. I also began reading some traditional works like the Stormlight Archive, Six of Crows, and The Name of The Wind. All these stories really helped me through my tough time. But among these, only one didn't get the conclusion it deserved -- yours. So, I will write a story as a tribute to this beautiful work. I know I Will Kill The Author wasn't some masterpiece, but it holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first stories that made me laugh when all I wanted was to cry. I really liked Lucas' humor and his foreshadowed and hinted tragic past. I really wanted to know more about him. But, oh well. Thank you for what it was worth.
Let this be a warning for all of you, fellow webnovel readers. We all think that we have the freedom to choose which book we want to read. But do we have that? When I first opened this book, I dropped it after the first chapter, thinking it was utter trash. But mind you, that was a grave mistake because I ended up garnering the author's wrath. And on the next day, I woke up to a note, telling me, "I got ur family and I live inside your walls. If you ever want to see them again, continue reading it." And so here I am, locked in the basement while praying that I can see them soon again. Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy reading this book especially when the author live streams how my family is starving in the room next door.
