“My Aphrodite sensing are tingling!” Serena exclaimed. I gathered her and Jasper in my room the following afternoon to discuss what happened yesterday. “I smell love in the air!”
The sound of Derek coughing in his room made us be quiet. He was working with dusty old books, and even though he was wearing a mask, I don’t trust him to be in there with the door closed.
“That’s not love in the air, that’s the plague,” Jasper shuttered.
“Relax, Derek is trying to read through these old antique books that one of his old foster brothers sent him. He better have a mask on, and the windows open as we agreed,” I explained.
“Can we get back to the goddess of love, please?” Serena asked, sitting on her bed twisting the ends of her pink hair. “The local Prince Charming, known as Wesley Reynolds, kissed you yesterday in a library. A library! That’s like your absolute fantasy!”
“Can you please keep your voice down? I don’t want the kids hearing this,” I begged.
