Chương 22: Not single anymore

Ethan knew what had happened to Alex when she was a child. His assistant had given him most of the information about her from the time she was born until now. He'd wanted to know everything about her since the first time he had spoken to her.

"Ever since I first saw you at a fashion show in New Bell months ago, my heart has only responded to you. I know these are just typical words, but I hope they reach you anyway. You were so beautiful, your eyes were so mesmerizing, you were so dazzling in that runaway, but at the same time, you seemed so cold and unapproachable that you piqued my curiosity. I don't know why, but at the time I just wanted to be the one to put a beautiful smile on your lips and relieve you of all your problems. I don't believe in love at first sight, but I know that what I felt then was something different, I've never had a feeling like that for a woman. The first time you gave me a smile was a fateful moment for me, it was like I have accomplished something huge. And now I'm all about you in my thoughts. I want to have all my meals with you, I want to share all my life with you and give you all my love. I promise I won't leave you because I just can't."

Alex was simply moved by Ethan's words; she had no idea he had known her for so long. For some reason, she believed in his sincerity and knew she could trust him. "I thank you for those words, boyfriend!! It means a lot to me."

Ethan's smile deepened even more "Thank you, girlfriend, I promise you won't regret it. Have a beautiful evening! I'll call you tomorrow."

"Good night. "

When she hung up the phone, her emotions were all over the place, her cheeks were red and her ears were hot. Fidelia looked at her at the door and smiled at the image of her friend falling in love. When Alex saw her, she smiled even more.

"What?"

"Nothing! So do I have a new brother-in-law now?"

"And do I have a new brother-in-law, too?"

Knowing the answers to these questions, the two girls smiled at each other. Fidelia said good night to her friend before going to her room, tired of all the emotions of the night.

Alex in her room couldn't sleep, her emotions were keeping her up as she was too excited. But one thing annoyed her and kept her from sleeping, it was Ethan's voice on the phone. It was even more familiar than her neighbor's voice. 'Was she getting paranoid?' She pushed that thought away and fell asleep with a small smile on her face.

The next morning the girls were awakened at 7 of the clock by the ringing of the doorbell. Fidelia opened annoyed, ready to pounce on the unfortunate who had dared to disturb her. She was surprised to see a trolley containing a whole breakfast set, consisting of omelet, toast, sausages, milk, coffee, fruits, juice, etc... A note was enclosed. Curious to who was the good person who was so thoughtful to send them breakfast, she opened the note and saw that it was meant for Alex.

Behind her was Alex, who had also just woken up, was curious, she looked at her friend with a questioning look, "What's this?"

"We just got free breakfast!! It looks really good" Fidelia was not as annoyed as before when she saw the delicious food in front of her. The smell of fried bacon and eggs coming from the lid of the dish was already making her mouth water.

"Christopher?" Alex was just as excited as her friend as she looked at the plate of food.

"No! Our mysterious neighbour, it's for you, here, a note he wrote."

Alex, surprised, took the small note and read the message. It was a very simple note, "Hello beautiful, I could not give you an answer to your question yesterday, but I hope I will soon, so do not think too much about me today. Have a nice day. " She smiled sweetly after reading the message. Fidelia, looking at her, smiled as well and brought breakfast to their living room.

"So Baby girl, do you want to explain this to me? "

"Wow, this is so good, you should eat too!" Alex tried to distract her friend with the delicious breakfast she started to eat.

"Yeah, I'll eat if you tell me what it's about! So speak! " Fidelia was not so easily distracted when it came to gossips! Plus now it was about Alex's love life!

"There's nothing, I am just curious about him, that's why I asked to see him last night, that's all."

Fidelia was a little skeptical, "So you talk to him again last night?" She asked one of her eyebrows up her hands crossed.

"Yes" He was there on his balcony, so I just talk a little bit...

"Then why did he send you that cute message, it looks like he's flirting with you! I thought you were dating Ethan since last night?"

"You are worrying too much about it Fifi, and yes, I am dating Ethan and there will be no love triangle so do not get your hopes up." Alex ate her egg with appetite, for it was delicious, and wondered if her neighbour had cooked it himself.

"Okay, just do not get caught in a net." Fidelia was a little worried, after all this was Alex's first time in a relationship and she could see her friend was interested in both men. "We have to get to work. Today is officially our first day, well my first day, and I have a scandal to oversee, you know, you and your fake... Oh, I almost forgot, your boyfriend, your names are the third most searched word in the entire country since last night because of a picture of you two at your date with Ethan!" Fidelia was a little happy, this was a part of her job she really loved.

"Really? Is that good news?" Asked Alex a little worried.

"Yes!! It's good news because now you are known all over the country! Your name is spreading all over the country in no time, and that's good publicity!"

"Oh. Good!!!"

"But Aria fans are saying it's her in the pictures, so fans are arguing, I have to watch all this and make sure everything goes well."

Two hours later, the two girls were at the ROYALSTAR doing their jobs. Alex repeated her movie scenes to better understand them when the filming will start.
