Chương 60: The third gift
After I landed I could see the Foundation personnel gathering at the 10 KM edge , they were hesitant to get closer because in the previous attempts the people that tried to get closer were just told to "FORGET" and they would walk away but the situation was different with me. I was the first to get that close to the guardian and I just continued flying towards it , 4 KM , 3 KM , 2 KM and finally the 1 KM the guardian once again looked at me but it didn't strike and just continued to look at me with. Now that I was closer to it I could clearly see it's appearance , it was a bright humanoid creature with many wings located on it's back , wrists , ankles , shoulders and temples then there infamous flaming sword , I was more scared of the sword since it could kill me and even from this distance I could feel it's intensive heat that was said to rival the sun's heat. Like last time the creature and me continued looking at each other until I heard a voice like when I talked with SCP-3000 , but this voice was more powerful and even though it couldn't overwhelm me it was still powerful.
<Otherworlder what do you wish from me> the guardian said to me and I was looking into the gate he was guarding , beyond it I could see what I assumed to be the garden of Eden or another dimension of some sorts. After satisfying my curiosity towards the gate I looked at the guardian once again and said <Guardian , I wish to know more about this world , the creatures that inhabit it and what lies beyond the gate> I knew I was asking a lot but I had to try and I decided upon this when it let me pass the 1 KM distance. After a bit the guardian said <Otherworlder , I can sense from you divine energy that belongs to a god. But this energy doesn't belong to you and thus you aren't worthy of knowing what lies beyond the gate until it becomes yours> it's words surprised me but after thinking for a bit I thought it might be Rohan's energy since he was the only god I knew and I was surprised to find out that he left some of his energy within me. After thinking about it I decided to try to ask him and so I grabbed my SOS that was streaming and called the only number it had.
The phone ringed for a bit and then the call connected , from it I heard Rohan "Heya Oz , been a while since we talked right?" I then said with a sigh "Yeah and I hope the only time we talk is through this phone" he then laughed and I could hear two more voices in the back talking but I didn't ask since I had more important matters to deal with so I said "Well I'm currently in a alternate Harry Potter universe that has the SCP's which I found out recently so I decided to have a talk with the Guardian also known as SCP-001 , I asked him some questions and he said that I would only get the answer after I make the energy left by a god within me mine. Since the only god I've met is you I decided to call to ask about it" while I was explaining the two voices in the back were apparently listening and then I heard the feminine voice say to probably Rohan "Well it's probably his" I didn't understand so I asked "Who's?". So after I asked they went on and explained that it was Joseph and it was one of the gift's he left for me that would help me reach godhood.
After hearing this explanation I thought 'Now this is some BS , is it my luck? I don't remember ever having this godly luck but I wasn't going to say no to being a god' and I asked him "So how do I absorb this energy he left me and how did he become a god?" , then Rohan said "Well he didn't but since he was a champion he had divine energy , which is the purest form of energy in all the multiverse. If he didn't die back then he would have reached godhood pretty soon and now that chance goes to you but it comes with the price of you destroying his enemy , the creature made of sin. But first you must absorb the energy which is very easy to you since you asked for thr [Devour] skill , with it you just have to devour the energy and make it yours" after hearing him I wasn't worried about the creature since I had a lot of time on my hands so I continued asking him "So how do I find this energy because I don't recall ever sensing it on my body and even the system doesn't record it on my status" , this time I heard Rohan chuckle before saying "Well I haven't updated it to sense the energy yet... I forgot".
After he said that I heard one of the voice on the back burst out laughing before it yelled "YOU GETTING OLD" and I head Rohan retort "OH SHUT UP TRUCK" apparently it was Truck-kun so I decided to thank him for granting me the chance after asking Rohan to update the system so it could sense divine energy , has I was about to end the call I remembered Joseph's message "Oh before I end the call , Joseph told me to deliver this message to the goddess of reincarnation so I hope you can pass it" and he just said "Sure , also I'll update your skills to fit your current path" so after delivering the message and hearing the feminine voice that I assumed was the goddess thanking me and wishing me luck I said thanks to all of them and ended the call. After I ended the call I then noticed the guardian was looking at me and I saw it was shaking so I decided to ask him <Are you okay?>. I then heard it reply in a scarred voice , something that never even crossed my mind <T-that voice , what was it?> and I said <The god that sent me here> and it started shivering and even the fire and the sword dimmed a bit before I heard it say <Such a god exists?!>.
From the reaction I was getting from probably the strongest creature on this HP universe Rohan was indeed a absolute god , not that I doubted him or anything it was just that his attitude didn't suit his cargo but I guess that eventually happens when you are the creator of all things and have been alive since even before the multiverse , but I still wondered who he was before being the creator since I assumed that he didn't just pop out of nowhere and boom was already a god. Since I wasn't getting an answer to my question I just decided to keep it for the next time I call him , after getting out of my thoughts I looked at the guardian which by now had regained it's previous composure and it seemed that it now respect me more and I noticed this by the way it's tone changed <Well my previous words remain , if you wish to know more of this world and the creatures that I ordered them prepare for you must first make the energy your> after hearing that I just said bye to it and teleported home since now I had to wait for Rohan to once again update my system.
After I teleported home Salem and Harry were sitting on the sofa talking about the what they saw through the stream , since I had to call Rohan the stream was cut at that moment so they only saw until the guardian mentioned the energy. After they saw me they started asking questions about what the guardian said and after explaining it to them we decided to just relax for the day so I connected with Mione and asked if she wanted to come over to spend the day with us. She agreed immediately since she apparently was out of things to do and decided to relax on reading since she had been constantly reading many books since she gained access to literally the world's library on the palm of her hands. So after she accepted I told Harry and Salem I was going to get Mione and they just nodded , I then teleported to Mione's house and knocked on the door because I couldn't just take her without informing her parents , when they opened the door they invited me in so I accepted and told them that I came to get Mione and they agreed.
After a bit Mione came wearing a ocean blue sundress that reached her knees and sandals , then we left and after we got outside I teleported us to my house and since it was her first time here she was very impressed with the size , after I guided her through the house we went to the kitchen to prepare some snacks for the movie time. She then asked me why I didn't just create them and I told her "It's one of the small pleasures in life and it relaxed my mind" so she decided to join me in cooking , she told me she had read some cooking books but never practised if you don't count potion's classes so I decided to just teach her. Then we started cooking , since she was pretty smart she was doing fairly well but she still required a lot of practise that I told her she would get a lot since I was gonna teach her one of my favorite activities , our cooking took about 40 minutes because I was teaching her and because we were making snacks which didn't take too long. After we took the snack to the living room that Harry and Salem were watching I sat down after leaving the snacks and Mione sat on my lap and like that we started watching the movie playing.

LeylinTheFifth Welp here is today's chapter , I almost got late since I got too focused on playing Venture Seas , nice game btw definitely recomed. Please tell me if there are any mistakes so I can correct them. Damn just noticed this is my 60th chap , kudos to me
