Chương 15: A chance for development and Regis
Three days latter after me and Salem came to an agreement I flew to meet this king of Luveria , as I started approaching my full speed I heard a boom and I felt like I was passing through and air barrier 'Huh march 1 feels pretty normal , probably because of the aura. I wonder if this is how The Flash feels when he breaks the sound barrier' and before I could notice it I had passed the castle settlement which made me laugh a bit. I flew back to it but now slowly and as I landed I was greeted by many people pointing their metal spears at me while wielding shields , something that surprised me since.
'Maybe it's the money issues since the mecha weapons can be pretty expensive to build and if they buy them already made there could be defects , and those lead to death' as I was looking at their weapons that were pointing at me I waved my hand and all the spears were forcibly taken from their hands. I had done that using my magic and after that I made the spears surround me while floating making them look like a ring while pointing them at the soldiers and I spoke while amplifying my voice with magic "Is this how you receive guests?" , they were surprised at my loud voice.
After I finished speaking a man came forward , this man had a muscular body which was made evident by the heavy armor he was wearing. As he reached me he said "I own you an apology King of Lordran , we were just surprised by the explosion we heard in the sky's and thought it was a threat" to which I just waved my hand again making the spears fall to ground before saying "I see , that explosion you heard was me arriving. Your king invited me to talk , so take me to him" and the soldier just nodded before starting to walk towards the castle in the center of the settlement while saying "Then please do follow me" and I started walking along side him.
After walking for roughly 5 minutes we finally reached the castle that looked pretty much like the one in the medieval era on my world. After we got in I was taken to a room that had a round table that on it where various fruits , then the man said "Please wait here Lord has my King will come shortly" to which I replied "Don't take too long" and he left to what I assume call the king or tell someone to call him. After a few minutes I got bored and started playing with my magic making them mix and make various forms while eating the fruits they served me , I came to like the grapes as they weren't very sweet nor very sour.
After almost half an hour I was starting to get impatient as the grapes where almost finished and as I was about to get up and search for the king himself after finishing my last grape a man walked in. He was wearing simple clothes consisting in a blue loose shirt and black pants with slippers , the slippers surprising me the more than the fact that he was very young , if asked I would give him the age of twenties to thirties. As he walked in and sat opposite of me he smiled and said "Apologies for the long wait , as I was still dealing with some emergencies that came up in the last moment. My name is King Regis Caelum , a pleasure to finally meet you" , after hearing his name I thought 'Huh dodged a bullet there. Lucis Caelum is a name you don't want to have unless you want to kill your son in a near future'.
I smiled back and said "A pleasure to meet you too Regis , my name is Ozma" to which he said "Just Ozma? No family name?" and I answered him "Indeed , my family name has been lost through the ages" after hearing my answer he was silent for a bit before saying while putting his hand on his chin "Maybe if you can give me a clear date I can search in the library as it's a very expansive one" and I just chuckled before saying "You won't find it , when I say 'lost through the ages' I literally mean that. My family is long dead and I am the last one so through the years I ended up forgetting as it wasn't that important" after saying that he looked into my eyes and said with a serious face "A family name is important so please do try to remember".
After seeing him so serious I just smiled and said "Do you have any idea how old I am Regis?" to which he continued looking at me seriously before saying "Humor me Ozma" after hearing this I waved my hand and said "Next time , now let's talk about this alliance you proposed" and seeing me changing the subject he cleared his throat before saying "Ah yes to business. I want to propose an alliance between my kingdom and your , one that will consist of Dust and Weapons" and he stopped talking as if waiting to see my reaction "You caught my interest , do elaborate" , he smiled after hearing and continued saying "Well in the region belonging to my kingdom we have many Dust deposits , so this alliance would consist of me making use of my resources and give you 80% of our Dust and you can take 40% off the 80%".
After hearing him I said "And with the rest of the Dust?" and after hearing me he smiled and said "You manufacture your mecha weapons with the best quality and sell them to us cutting the price by 50%". This plan was good as it would present more resources for us to develop our kingdom since we didn't have that many Dust deposits. After thinking about this I said "Give us 50% of the 80% as we will still need to manufacture the weapon's parts in our kingdom" to which Regis was silent after a moment before saying "That can be done but I want to add one favor to that" and I said after thinking for a bit "Sure what is that favor?" to which he smiled and said "Your help in case of a war". This favor surprised me and I said "Why do you need my help if you will have my weapons?" and he answered me back with a question "Do you know what is my semblance Ozma?".
I answered him "No but humor me" and he smiled and said "My semblance is one that allows me to see a type of energy that I have theorized to be the power of the semblance of each person. This energies come in many colors" and as he continued to speak I had already guessed why he asked for my help but I decided to listen to him "Ozma when I look at you I don't see the small energy that I see in everyone , no no , when I look at you now I can't see anything but when you were coming I saw it. Your energy , it was so oppressive I couldn't' breath and the multitude of colors it had looked like a rainbow , but what surprised me the most was when I saw you here all that was gone. Poof without even the slightest trace , but I know that what I saw was real. So I ask again for this favor".
After hearing him I smiled and chuckled before saying "I accept your request but I will only come as me and not representing my Kingdom. Oh and Regis I recommend you stop using your semblance on me as it might even cause permanent damage if you ever saw it fully , me and another person I will maybe introduce you in a near future" and after saying that I got up and we shook hands , but as I was about to leave I turned and said to him "Oh and can you maybe send some of your fruits , specially the grapes when you send the Dust?" and Regis laughed at that before saying "Sure I will since you liked them". And that after that I left to home arriving at my kingdom after 20 minutes of full speed flight. 'Huh flying is so much fun than teleporting' I thought as I went to our room for a bath.

LeylinTheFifth Welp here it is fams , this chap was bit complicated to write as I have no experience in this semi-political stuff. I only saw this stuff when I was still reading Akikan's novel Sis-con novel , before it got boring. My novel will probably get boring after a while if I just keep up with this , meh so be it.
