The argument of the mother-daughter pair wasn't pleasant at all.
"Geez, how difficult can it be for you to understand? I am taking you out of the hero department, because of the injuries you received during the lessons!"
Rumi saw all kinds of ne expression on the two of them, none were filled with grace or beauty. They were arguing to the fullest to make the toher submit in their decision.
"What the hell has the training to do anything with my injuries!"
Rumi wanted to go between the two, but she had the feeling that she would get gobbled up in that argument, getting utterly humiliated before they even could calm down.
"Are you kidding me? How else would you get these kind of internal injuries other than you overworking yourself again? Do you think I don't know what kind of training you go through each day, each morning? Do you take me for a fool that doesn't know what happens in the life of my own daughter that I raised for twelve years? Each day I see how you come home, sweat drenched, exhaustes, gasping, bloodstains on your suit. Each day I ignore how you go to the showers and wash your blood of your body. Each day I ignore how you treat your little injuries hastily, before then finally going to school!"
Suddenly Rumi felt a shudder run down her spine. The atmossphere turned from heated up to ice cold and she felt even more uncomfortable being here.
"I - I thought that you always sleep at these times."
"I do, for most of the time anyways, but I would be a pretty bad mother if I didn't notice these things on my daughter, right?"
Fumio approached Akane and gently grasped her head, petting it, as usual.
"Akane, I know how your dream is to show everyone that even quirkless people like you can achieve big things, that there is no reason to look down on others, just because they are disabled. I know that your dream is what fuels your life, the thing that gives you the drive to always stay ahead of your peers..."
Akane stared at her mother with open eyes, showing conflicted emotions herself. She didn't want to hurt her mother, not even a tiny bit. She was a stranger, yet she decided to rescue the dying three year old girl that lied on the ground in some random alleyway, even going so far to adopt her.
But she wanted to continue to pursue her dreams and for that she needed to become a hero, she knew that there were many occupations that involved risking ones life, she knew that there other suitable jobs to gather attention, but becoming a hero is just the shortest and fastest way to achieve her dream, there was no exception.
"...but is that really something that you should sacrifice your well-being on?"
Hearing these words Akane felt conflicted, she felt how her emotions were in turmoil, she felt uncomfortable and most importantly, her mother was feeling the same things. All of these emotions that she couldn't avoid were slowly driving her mad and she just wanted to run out of this room, but doing so would be one of the worst decisions she could do in this moment.
At one point she just had enough of this and just...
"Chara, Scarlet! Is there any way to keep my emotions in check?"
The two girls were surprised that Akane suddenly called them out, out of nowhere.
Scarlet was even concerned if this was the appropriate moment ot have a conversation, after all this was a a private family talk and all.
"Took you long enough to realize it, partner."
Akane was confused at that statement, what did she mean with that?
"Wait, seriously? Sigh, repeating the words of your mother. Isn't it obvious enough? Other than most people in this world, you have awakened your true soul trait. You know, like kindness, or patience or like mine, determination. Awakening your soul trait, tends to pull you to that side of emotion and action of you have to deal with things. The gimmick of unity is to synchronize with other peoples souls and understanding them better, so you can better work towards a solution with them. Knowing how the oppositions feels is pretty useful in these kinds of things after all."
"Isn't that pretty bad for me, considering that I have to deal with the emotions of all people around me?"
Chara just chuckled as Akane said that. After all, everything that is done to an extreme is bad, becuase it will always reveal it's own weaknesses if pulled off to the deep end.
"Duh, isn't that obvious? You think an awesome power hasn't an equal amount of drawback? Hello, if an cran hasn't an conterweight it would just fall over if it tries to lift things up.
Determination is the ability to stubbornly keep trying until you are victorious, but it's disadvantage is that we don't know when to quit.
Perserverance to work things out that seem impossibe for others, but it had the nature that the person tends to overthing and that an easy and simple solution isn't the solution, even though it is.
Bravery the courage to face feared things, eventhough you yourself are scared, but its connected with endless recklessly and running facefirst in your possible demise.
Patience to wait for the perfect moment to strike, but the detriment of hesitation, thinking that a better moment might appear, even though it will not.
Integrity for standing up for your own believes, not admitting that your own ideals might not have been what someone needed.
Justice for doing what is the right thing to do, ignoring the fact that their are other factors to consider, besides 'Justice'.
Kindness the believe that even the worst person can change, ignoring that they might get taken advantage off.
No trait is exempt of a bad point, even your perfect unity that takes the best of all the traits I previously just mentioned. "
Akane nodded that made sense for her.
"Well, now that we worked through that, do you two might have any advice that might convince my mother to not do what she just said?"
Chara was silent hearing this and so was Scarlet. They couldn't believe the ridiculousness of her sudden request and burst out laughing.
"Well, I might have just awakened, but I believe in situations like these...

Fumio was sitting down after the last words she said to her daughter, even though she said that she would go through with this, regardless of what she would say, Fumio just couldn't do it.
Akane was just silent, sitting on the edge of her bed, showing absolutely no outwards emotions, but yet she could feel, her gut just told her that her daughter was absolutely shredding herself in her mind.
She knew the mentality of her daughter, she wasn't twelve years by the side of her for nothing. Even though she always did everything to utmost perfection as much as possible there were two constants she could observe in her daughters life.
One was following her dreams, showing that nobody should underestimate her ever again.
Two was pleasing the people she cared about, so that could always wear a smile on their face.
These two things rarely stood in conflict, no most of the time they were working in tandem with each other, but this time these two conditions just stood on the opposite end of each other and Fumio could basically hear the noise of some thins snapping inside her daughter, even with her absolute silence.
She sighed, it broke her heart that she had to do this to her daughter, but she just couldn't see Akane harm herself anymore.
It might have been different way of self-harm than those edgy goth teenagers who think that it was cool to 'cut' themselves, but they always forget that it hurt their parents the most when they do that. After all, they were the ones that painstakingly raised you each day, they were the ones that showered you with love as much as possible without overspoiling you. They were the ones that tried so hard to let your grow up, hoping that you one day will lead a happy life.
It probably was just hard and arduous effort for Akane, but all she could see the were the wounds that resulted in her actions.
She just couldn't continue to ignore it in good conscious anymore.
Suddenly she felt an arm on her shoulder, she looked up and saw that it was just her wife, Rumi.
"H - Hey there! I am also here. Hope you didn't forget me!"
Fumio coldly looked at her and noticed how uncomfortable she was in this situation. Well, that was to expected after an important and serious argument, she couldn't really blame her.
Meanwhile, Rumi who had a forced smile on her face just sighed. Things like this really were just hard for her.
"Sigh. Fumio, do you really think that this is a good decision? I mean..."
Before she could say anthing anymore, Fumio sealed her lips with her fingers.
"Don't. I know the girl could probably achieve what she had undertake for herself, it's just as her mother..."
"...that you can't continue to ignore it in good conscious anymore, I get it. I get it, it's just doesn't she look pitiful right now? She probably can't even hear us right now, despite being conscious and all."
Rumi proved her point by squishing the girls cheeks, and she really didn't react.
"Rumi!"
"What, just trying to prove my point! But in all seriousness though, are you sure that you want to put your daughter through this?"
Fumio wanted to say something against that, but she couldn't. She knew the possible consequences of her actions, she understood that she would take half away what fueled the girls life with that unstoppable drive, she knew that she could potentially hurt her deeply, but...
but...
"But what am I supposed to do?! What is there what I could possibly do, but take her as far away from possible danger as possible! I am not even worried what the others might do to her once she is a hero, but what she would do to herself! Is there any solution on how both parties can be happy in the end? Is there any way that we can just continue our happy days? I am just so fed up with her getting into near death situations, is that such a difficult request?"
Rumi was taken aback by her wifes reaction, it was just so different from the calm and collected Fumio she knew off.
The cool Fumio that barely broke a sweat in her trial, the calm Fumio, waiting patiently for the results of her daughters examinations, the imposing Fumio that dominated her in bed.
It just was something she wasn't used to and so she was surprised by her intense reactions, not knowing what to say.
The temperature of the room seemed to decrease even more than before and the two adults couldn't face each other in shame.
Suddenly they heard a laugh.
It was Akane, as always her laugh was cute and adorable and a delight to hear, but given the situation it could be nothing else than a sinister, unnerving laugh, even with it's incredible beauty.
Fumio didn't seem to notice, but Akane slightly tilted her upper body back, as if she was coiling an incredible amount of force.
Before anymore information could get registered into her brain, Akane already lunged with her forehead against the edge of the head.
Just a dull 'ding' could be heard, but a shiver already ran down the spine of Akanes two legal guardians as they slowly realized that her white hair was slowly dyed in crimson.

In a certain elder mans house:
Seigi Masanori was currently sitting on his porch, drinking some green tea.
"Oh, there you are dear. I wondered where you would be after the news from our daughter, but it just turns out that you are enjoying the sun for a bit."
Masanori looked at his wife and chuckled. Yeah, that sarcastic nature never disappeared from the woman, she really could never show her true emotions could she?
"Heh, quit acting so tsun, I know that you are mocking me for showing so less worry, Miwa."
She just huffed as her husband responded at her like that.
"Then quit acting so hard boiled all the time! You rarely show any worry for everything all the time!"
Masanori stopped with his cup on his lips. He set it down and stood up, walking towards a big stone that was decorations for his garden.
"Dear?"
He just pointed his fist at it, lightly tapping it...
...nothing happened.
"What are you..."
Until he sudden coiled his fist back and punched it with full force, pulverizing it.
"You think I am not concerned about my granddaughter? Well, there is nothing I can do, but put her through the wringer if I'll ever see her after her recovery."
Miwa sighed as she saw that, why did the old man had to be so?
"You better clean that up before dinner."
Uhh, I really don't know.
I don't have my stuff together.
