Chương 25: Renir Ennure, Rank 7, True Rune User

Sixth Upgrade
The Rune User will now acquire Rank 7 and will be called Renir Ennure by the rune as Renir Ennure will ascend towards being a True Rune User. This upgrade will enable Renir Ennure to acquire the rune's power after completing its own trial.
Renir Ennure should speak "Trial" to gain the knowledge.
After overcoming the trial, the reward would come in the form of a rune that will be engraved on Renir Ennure's body when he should speak "Trial Complete"
The rune will give unimaginable power that will make Renir Ennure more capable of Ascending after surviving the Gantlet Woodlands.
Being a True Rune User, the rune will be embedded in Renir Ennure's Bead of Revival and could be used anywhere.

Renir's eyes widened and shone but not because of the light from the rune.
Immediately, he tried to speak "Trial" but came out as, "Blubblub" again.
No matter what trial it was, he was prepared to challenge since every night was already a challenge to him. If it would give him unimaginable powers to survive in Gantlet, why would he not add a little more challenge?

This made Renir trembled with excitement!
Wasting no time, "Bublubb!", he spoke. He was sure that he had already completed the trial. What a bonus!

Renir Ennure acquired the Strength Rune.
Renir Ennure's strength and all skills accompanied by strength will be doubled from now on and will double again when he ranked up and onwards.
The next rune will now let its presence reveal for Renir Ennure to find it.

'Ohhhh!!!', Renir wanted to shout!
'Double?! What does double mean?', he thought about it. With this power, could he go against the Giganslik with pure strength?
He didn't know but soon, he would!
The Water Sentinel was about to arrive and strangely, Renir could sense it as his ears slightly moved.
The light begone and Renir could see clearly and saw a trace of light escaped from his chest.
He looked downwards and saw, like a tattoo, a symbol was etched just below his right collarbone.
It was crazy! It was crazy awesome!
That was the most accurate depiction of Renir's reaction underwater.
But when he looked down, he saw that the only piece of clothing that tied around his waist was no more. But fortunately, his long and elastic boxers were still there like swimshorts!
But of course, with a few rips and shreds since even his skin wasn't spared from that last clash.
Renir slapped his elastic shorts, 'Just a little more...', as he thought that, he looked at the demon marionette with its shorts.
The demon marionette was bald and topless with bronze and muscular body. But the most important part for Renir was the demon marionette's shorts.
It was brown and looked like it was made out of leather... or scales? But it looked durable with the context of a Demon Ghoul General's marionette that was whom that wore them.
Its waistband was black lustrous and white cotton, or a just with the same looks, for its knees which had two metal plates attached to it on both sides.
Renir yearned for it greatly since even if there were no people there, he wouldn't want to be nude in battle with his balls and penis dangling along with his movements.
At least he wanted to keep the harsh experiences not to be shamed off. If he would write his experiences, he didn't want to add how his penis gained some movement techniques because of his fightings.
Renir decided that after he defeated that demon marionette, he will loot its shorts.
Also, what if when he entered the Door of Salvation to arrive at a random place on Earth? He would be lucky if there were no people around but what if he appeared in public?
Renir shook his head, he couldn't take that shame. It would push his sanity to its last wits.
But as he moved frantically as if there was no water resistance, he noticed that he no longer felt pain and his right hand returned to its original form!
Renir celebrated but as he focused on his right arm, the Beads of Revival would appear out of nowhere revolving around his wrist.
It seemingly changed now that Renir observed it. That was when he remembered what the rune said when he became a True Rune User.
'Being a True Rune User, the rune will be embedded in Renir Ennure's Bead of Revival and could be used anywhere.', he remembered word by word.
It would mean that he no longer needed to come back to the stone tablet to use the rune?
Renir's thought was confirmed when he saw the unknown symbol engraved on each of every bead of revival.
Slowly, he reached his left hand and tried to touch the beads of revival. Since he was accustomed to touching the stone tablet before using the runes.
'.....', Renir was stupefied to see that he could now touch the beads of revival.
Before, it was immaterial and just light revolving around his wrist, but now, he could touch it.
It was smooth as he expected and could be moved from its position.
As one of his fingers pushed it, a bead of revival will follow and the revolving would be disrupted, causing Renir slight pain but the beads would go back to normal after he retreated his hand.
'Could I remove it or does it come back as long as I released it?', Renir thought but didn't want to test it since he knew there will be pain included.
He was not a masochist that even if he was being accustomed to pain, he didn't want to experience it as much as possible.
Also, he didn't see the necessity of testing it. It was not like any other besides him can touch those beads.
And while he was thinking of it, he felt the need for air. Renir did release a lot of air while trying to speak. He breathed earlier when he passed by the wall of water into the cave's passage.
So why would he not breathe there? Was what he thought as he swam towards the passage as if he was hovering in the air.
He peeked out his face out of the wall of water and saw the face of the demon marionette with his red eyes.
Renir sighed and instead of feeling great fear, he felt relieved that the demon marionette WAS JUST a marionette and not a person, or else, it would be awkward.
Both faces were facing each other silently with their eyes locked.
That was when Renir remembered something about what the rune said about the demon marionette.
'It longs for the Bead of Revival so it can escape from the chains of Gantlet.', he paused.
But Renir didn't think about it that much, his idea was too risky.
He pulled his face back into the water after he freely breathed. What he needed to do was to find the other runes as soon as possible, and if possible, before the Water Sentinel arrived at Gantlet!
After all, the next rune will reveal its presence to the new True Rune User, Renir Ennure! He thought excitedly and as he does so, he sweated that was dispersed into the water.
'.....', he felt he did something stupid before using all his strength to swim out of the cave, leaving great ripples.
Even with the speed he would enjoy, faster than any jetskis he wanted to challenge earlier, Renir had a frown plastered on his face.
He was hurrying and was regretting while he felt stupid and sorry for himself at the same time.
Many water creatures wanted to follow him but couldn't compete with his dashing speed.
The new strength he got was enough to make him this fast!
The reason for his complex emotion was, 'Why did I leisurely take the time? Why didn't I set out earlier to find the next rune?!', he regretted he wasted time. Time that was so precious at the moment, because anytime, the Water Sentinel would appear in front of him.
Renir followed his senses and felt he was getting close to the next rune!
He wasn't sure if he could confront the Water Sentinel even with his new strength. So he dashed through the flood under the thundering skies that shone his path.
Half of the moon was already covered by its shadow.
