Chương 6: #5 Strength put to use

When Ren woke up from his 3 hours long sleep he shook his head few times not to feel sleepy and immediately resumed his training plan for morning.
It was currently afternoon and Ren was having his meal, roasted rabbit he killed this morning and few slices of bread. After he was done eating he woke up Shadow and told him through his mind
'Shadow, can you check for me area deeper in forest?'
Shadow didn't say anything and immediately flew off into deeper parts of forest.
After around 1 hour of meditating Shadow finally came back and sat on Ren's shoulder.
Ren: 'So, found anything?'
Shadow: '2 camps, humans, big beast'
Although Shadow could only use primitive communication it was enough for Ren to understand.
'So, 2 camps.... maybe bandits or deserters from army, no healthy human would live in deeper parts of forest unless they wouldn't want to be found. Now what to do with them... since there are 2 camps maybe I can just fight head on with first one to get used to my body and assassinate everyone in second one to remind myself of my skills as assassin'
'But real problem is that beast, for this stupid bird everything is "big" but I don't have information what kind of Danger beast it is. With my present equipment I can take on Low-Class 2 Danger beast if I use my trump card maybe even Medium-Class 2, but I never used it and only thing I know is that it has enormous penetration power.'
'not...stupid...I...clever' Ren heard Shadow complaining but paid it no heed.
He decided to risk it and go to first camp....under guidance of Shadow he got there in few minutes of running.
He was currently 100 meters from camp overlooking it with his ice cold eyes from branch of tall tree.
After hour of observing and help of Shadow he counted 15 people, not included those who could be sleeping in tents after night watch.
Ren exhaled cold air and turned into his usual assassin mode.
'So 15 people + around 5 or more sleeping ones, 4 archers, 6 swordsman and 5 spearman. Quality of their weapons isn't that good neither'
'This should be easy fight with my strength but I didn't fight with human beings for more than 60 years, I have to be careful'
Since Ren decided to test his strength in head on combat he just jumped from tree and walked towards camp without taking archers out by surprise.
It didn't take a long time before 3 men on guard duty discovered Ren and one of them immediately shouted at him "Hey kid!! Stop where you are!!!" Ren stopped walking and waited for them to move. One of the men walked towards Ren with greedy smile. It was quite easy to guess what were they thinking since Ren was small 8 years old kid who was handsome, He could be sold to slave merchant for enormous sum of money.
Ren just waited for man to come to him and he would start his massacre. Man noticed that kid had saber at his waist but he just thought that he must have picked up somewhere. After all Ren had snow white skin even through all his training and bathing in sun. So he looked like "young master" and son of some rich person.
Well that was man's last mistake in his life, because when he was about to grap kid by shoulder his head was seperated from his body. Other 2 men were totally surprised not just because how easy their colleague was killed. They themselves didn't see much, only flash of light.
After killing first man Ren immediately started running towards other two. They recovered from their shock quite late and Ren was already 20 meters away from them. Both of them used bows and dead one had spear, it was good balance but their colleague was blinded by greed and disturbed the balance.
Now that Ren was 20 meters away they could only shoot once before he will engage them in close combat.
One shot aimed for his leg and other for his head. He easily avoided them and he didn't even use his slowed time.
He arrived near archers and cut them in half before they even had time to draw their shortswords. Even through his saber was full of rust it could still cut in half something fragile like humans.
But others already heard commotion and started to gear up. Ren didn't mind and waited for them to get ready. After few moments he was surrounded by 6 swordsman, 2 archers and 6 spearman.
'It seems only 2 men were resting in tents and both are spearman'
Ren was calmly observing them while they were grinning. One of the biggest man took a step forward and said to Ren
"Surrender now and you might come out of this mess alive or choose to resist and die kid!"
After few seconds of silence Ren looked at man and formed mocking smile on his face and said "I choose to "resist" and slaughter option"
Then he disappeared from place where he was standing and appeared 10 meters away with 3 heads of swordsman.
"You fuc*er!!!!" yelled everyone while they started their assault. 2 archers were totally useless since Ren either dodge the arrows or used their comrades as a shield. Not long after it was only Ren and leader of camp.
"Who the hell are you and why are you doing this?!" asked leader
Ren only coldly answered "Not your concern"
"I myself have some questions or you, I hope you will cooperate"
Leader only snorted and said "You are indeed strong but you must be pretty exhausted"
Ren only shook his head in disappointment. He appeared behind leader who thought that he was exhausted and pierced through his legs in exchange he earned leader's scream "Agh!"
"Who are you, what was your group doing here?" Ren questioned kneeling leader.
"I won't tell you a sh*t, I wasn't called fearless in our group for nothing and you kid can only kill me but you won't get your answers!"
Ren who was already getting annoyed only looked him in the eyes and he truly didn't find any fear. Ren immediately formed" grim reaper" smile and said coldly to Shadow who just sat on his shoulder after fight.
'Shadow, peck out his eyes for me'
Shadow obeyed without any hesitation and in few seconds he was done with his job.
Nobody could hear leader's wailing and screaming while Ren was cutting his ears and forcing him to eat it. After ears came other limbs
In the end leader was shaking answering everything he could while begging for death.
Since he got his answers Ren decided to be "mercilful" and cut his head off.
When he departed from camp he was fully covered by blood. He washed his face in river and started to walk to second camp.
