Chương 34: Vs the Nine Tails- I
"The Nine Tails! " Arthur yelled in horror. The monster in front of him can easily blow the continent away if it wishes so.
[Don't worry host, it's only 30% power of the nine tails. ] The system explained calmly as the monster brought down it's enormous claw upon Arthur.
*Booooom*
The ground shattered due to the sheer force of the claw but Arthur had managed to evade it by jumping away.

Arthur was still in mid air as the dust cloud rose and debris floated in the air, limiting his visibility.
'Quite fast for its size' he thought.
'Now where is it gone ? ' he scanned his surrounding through the dust when suddenly a red light started glowing behind his back!
'Behind! ' Arthur immediately turned around and saw the huge red pupils of the nine tails staring right at him through the dust cloud, like a predator.
"These darn foxes " Arthur smirked as he remembers the very first red eyes that he saw in this world. The grey wolf.
*Roar!!! *
the nine tails released its terrifying roar which released such a sharp wind pressure that it easily cleared the dust cloud as well as the ground below it's feet.
The wind threw Arthur high up in the air and as he was falling down, he could see the multiple tails of the fox rushing towards him.
'This is bad ' Arthur thought as the giant tails of the fox charged towards him faster than the speed of lightning.
Arthur through his sharingan, easily predicted the path and dodged it mid air while somersaulting
[AN: just like Sauske when he dodged Naruto chakra arms in the final valley fight]
Seeing Arthur falling towards the ground, the nine tails stood up on its legs and leaped towards Arthur!
Arthur saw the colossal figure jumping towards him as it raised it's sharp claws.
"Time to end this" he whispered as he instantly activated his Mangekyo sharingan!
"Genjutsu" he casted a genjutsu through his Mangekyo sharingan as obito did to control the nine tails...
But contrary to his plan, the genjutsu had no effect on the nine tails as it mercilessly slashed it's claw towards Arthur.
Arthur had no time to dodge the attack mid air as he was helplessly swatted away from the sky like a fly by the nine tails.
*Vrooom* he zipped through the air and
*Boooooom*
A huge dust cloud rose up as Arthur crashed into the ground as fast as a flash.
"Ugh" Arthur grunted as he lie inside a huge crater. A light blue energy ribcage surrounding his body.
"If it wasn't for this ribcage susano then I would have been a goner" he weakly said while staggering to stand up on the crater among the dust and debris.
*Booooom*
The earth shook as the nine tails landed back on the ground. The wind blowing the dust cloud away from Arthur's crater.
Seeing that Arthur was fine, The nine tails rushed towards Arthur. Its every step shaking the ground beneath
[That was dangerous host! ] the system exclaimed to which Arthur replied.
"You think so? "
The nine tails relentlessly striked it's enormous claws towards Arthur which he swiftly dodged but the dust and debris it brought was preventing Arthur from counter attacking.
The fight continued like this for a while as the nine tails relentless attacks rendered Arthur into a defensive position.
Arthur landed back on his feet
"I have to create some distance fir-" he couldn't even finish his sentence before the claw landed on his direction, creating a explosion.
Arthur dodged that by simply jumping towards the sky.
He was now at the eye level of the crouching nine tails and he could see the anger in its eyes.
"Why does it hate me? " Arthur asked the system
[It doesn't hate you, it's the way he was designed in this simu-]
The system couldn't even finish it's sentence as a giant tail was crashing down on Arthur's head .
Arthur was still in mid air so he couldn't move out of the way on his own but he quickly weaved hand signs and created a shadow clone, The clone wrapped wind chakra on his arms and pushed Arthur horizontally far way.
The tail crashed down on Arthur's clone as another explosion occured. Arthur was still flying horizontally, far away from the nine tails when the nine tails saw his silhouette zipping through the dust cloud.
It again rushed towards Arthur but this time it was Arthur's turn to counterattack.
While still mid air, he quickly weaved his hand signs.
"Fire style: Fireball jutsu"
An enormous blue fireball was sent flying towards the nine tails and feeling the heat from it, the nine tails curled inside it's tails in a defensive posture.
*Booooooooom*
The blue fireball exploded and melted the ground, Arthur could hear a sizzling sound coming from the smoke. After the smoke disappeared, he could see the kyubi's tails was slightly burned.
"It only manage to harm his furs?! " Arthur exclaimed in exasperation.
The nine tails glared at Arthur, anger glowing from it's terrifying eyes.
The kyubi immediately stood up on it's hind legs as the tail swayed violently. It opened it's mouth as dense chakra quickly started condensing into a ball!
"A tail beast bomb!!! " Arthur exclaimed.
[Indeed] the system replied
The nine tails glared at Arthur with the beast bomb in it's mouth.
Then it released the bomb as it flew towards Arthur destroying everything in it's path.
"This is ba-"
*Booooooooooom*
The sky turned orange as the ground disintegrated.
A destruction that couldn't be easily matched.

In Arthur's room.
A vortex suddenly appeared as Arthur fell down from it, landing on his back.
Arthur's clone was surprised seeing the burn marks and messy appearance of his original.
"What happened? " his clone asked.
"What was that?! " Arthur asked the system in anger.
[What? ] the system innocently replied.
"Why didn't my genjutsu worked on him?
why was it so fast and powerful? wasn't it 30 % power of the nine tails? " Arthur asked in anger.
"If I hadn't teleported away in time then I would have been a goner! " he stated in anger.
[The genjutsu didn't worked as it wasn't a sentinel being and it was really at 30 percent power which makes it weird that you weren't able to handle it even with the mangekyo sharingan. ] the system thoughtfully replied.
[Why didn't you use your Mangekyo abilities like the susano and kamui raikiri?
... were you trying to save points so that you won't have to use it in curing the side effects?
.... ]
Arthur didn't replied as the system and Arthur both remained in awkward silence.
"Will anybody tell me what's happening!? " the clone asked in frustration.
"I want to save points for hashirama cells. "
Arthur replied after a while.
The system also answered after a while
[That's the wrong method of development. You need to master your Mangekyo first otherwise your susano won't develop at all.
You still have quite a long way before you can buy Hashirama cells so you should focus on your current Mangekyo first. Mastering it will take you to a new level of strength which is necessary in this world. ] the system adviced and Arthur knew that it was right.
Saving some few bits of points weren't worth it if you can't even master your own powers.
"I see now. "
He stood up as he punched his hands together.
"I am ready for round 2 now! " He shouted.
"Is everything alright master yang! " the maids shouted in a panic.
"It's alright! nothing to worry about, you can go and rest now. " Arthur quickly replied feeling a bit apologetic.
Hearing that, the maids went back to their rooms.
"Hey system, what happened to the nine tails after I left the dimension? " Arthur asked.
[It's probably resting somewhere waiting for your arrival. ] the system replied.
"So it will remain like that until I defeat it? " he asked.
[That's the rule of the training space. Beside isn't it better? now that you can fight the kyubi, you will get a lot of fighting experience and even master the Mangekyo?

the system explained and Arthur nodded in agreement.
He looked towards his clone and nodded his head again as if he was saying.
'Take care of things here. I know you can do it'
After nodding his head towards the clone, A vortex appeared as it suck Arthur inside of it.
The clone was left alone, standing in bewilderment.
"I have no clue what's happening here... "
