Chương 32: Exploring the kamui dimension - 1
The space inside the guest house spiralled and Arthur appeared out of the wormhole with his black cloak and his fox mask.
He could see that his clone was still sleeping on his bed, snoring loudly.
"Guess he is having a good sleep" Arthur smiled wryly.
He checked the Wall clock for time and found out there was still a bit over 30 minutes before sunrise.
'I don't have enough time to sleep now'
Arthur didn't care much about sleeping since ninja can go on for days without sleeping and still remain healthy.
'Let's go for a walk then' Arthur dispelled his shadow clone and change his clothes back to the normal ones.
As he step outside his house, he could see the dark blue sky slowly changing into a shade of lighter blue as the few rays of sunlight illuminated the sky.
There was a bit of mist floating above the lavender gardens. Arthur appreciated the scenery and continued his walk.
Cultivators rarely sleep, they always cultivate as a substitution of sleep but that wasn't the case for normal people. This city comprises of both cultivators and normal citizens.
Both of these 2 party live in harmony.
It was really a unique world.
Such thoughts were floating in Arthur's mind when he saw someone walking towards him from the opposite direction of the road.
Perhaps it was a city gaurd, returning to his home after a night duty.
As the figure came closer to Arthur, he could clearly see who it was.
The enchanting figure was wearing the li clan's official uniform and Arthur knew who it was.
"We meet again" Huan li stop in front of Arthur and said.
"It appears so" Arthur nonchalantly replied.
"Our first meeting was quite memorable, if you don't mind then may I know your name" she said
Arthur was confused as she acted far more friendlier then he anticipated.
'What is she trying to do? '
"My name is Yang ki fellow daoist" Arthur cupped his fist.
"Nice to meet you daoist Kai, my name is Huan li. I am the captain of the city gaurds"
She also returned the gesture by cupping her fist.
"Oh my, you hold quite a powerful position Miss Li. Did you spent all night patrolling this city miss captain? " Arthur asked a bit respectfully.
"Please, you can be a little formal with me" she smiled.
"How can I!? But thanks a lot for your service miss li " Arthur respectfully cupped his fist and smiled politely.
'What is she thinking? is there a special agenda why she is acting so nicely towards me? ' Arthur thought.
"I just wanted to say I am very ashamed of my behavior yesterday and I wanted to ask for your forgiveness" she sincerely said to Arthur.
"It's really not your fault as I too acted a little on impulse. The one you should ask forgiveness is not me but your sister" Arthur replied.
"How did you know she was my sister? did she told you this? " Huan li asked with a slight smirk on her face which only lasted for a second but Arthur clearly saw it.
'Shit! I slipped. ' he thought.
"Yes, she told me indeed. " Arthur replied as he decided that there was no longer any reason to hide it.
'She is more cunning then I thought especially with her way of words, like a cunning detective.' Arthur thought.
"I see... " she replied with a slight melancholy.
"I am happy that she found a friend with whom she can share her worries. " Huan li smiled.
'Didn't she hated her? ' Arthur thought.
"Well, I have to go now. Let's meet again over tea sometime, master kai" Huan li took Arthur's hand for a handshake.
'8th level foundation establishment realm...' Arthur checked her rank through the handshake.

After shaking hands, both of them went on their way
"What a weird encounter. " Arthur thought.
He couldn't tell what she was thinking or what was her propose in approaching him.
'Was she genuinely worried about her sister? ' Arthur thought but quickly dispelled it. After his experience at the night wing forest, he was having trouble believing in others.
The sun was rising from the east signalling the start of dawn and a new day. Basking in the morning sunlight, Arthur look towards the departing figure of huan li
' What are you scheming? '

After his walk, Arthur returned back to his guest house. As he entered the gate,
he could see jiang li watering the garden and Feng li practicing his swords art at the training ground a little far away from the garden.
"Did you enjoy your walk master yang? " jiang li asked while smiling.
Feng li also turn around smiling seeing Arthur returned.
"How was the clan's scenery master yang? "
Seeing their smiling faces, Arthur also replied
"Beautiful, worthy of li clan's prestige "
"I am relief that you like it master yang" Feng li said and continued practicing his sword.
The butler came up and served Arthur his tea and breakfast.
Arthur was liking such grand treatment.
He then sat down on the chair and watched Feng li swing his sword.
His swordsmanship was beautiful and every swing produced a spark of lightning.
"It's our clan's martial art, The arts of lightning: Thunder claw strike" jiang li explained.
"Aren't you a master of lightning as well master yang? " she asked.
"How did you know? " Arthur asked a bit surprised.
"Didn't you used thunder arts when you first saved us? " she explained.
'Chidori senbon? '
"You have quite the keen eyes" Arthur complimented and jiang li laughed.
"Do you know young master? starting from tomorrow, our clan's annual meeting will begin as well as the competition of younger generation. My fiance is doing his best to win this competition this year in order to bring glory to his branch clan." she continued.
Arthur looked towards feng li who was continuously swinging his sword, doing his best.
"I believe he will surely win the competition this year. " Jiang li continued as Arthur watched Feng li swing his sword.
Sweat drip through his arms as lightning crackled in his every swing.
'Second level of Foundation establishment realm' Arthur examined feng li.
'Quite strong for his age but still no way near Huan li's level. ' Arthur thought as he wondered how did she got so strong.
"What do you think master yang? " jiang li asked breaking Arthur's train of thought.
"Yes? " he asked
"What do you think his chances of winning are? " she asked again.
"Is his cultivation the highest in the competition? " Arthur replied with another question of his own.
The courtyard became silent and feng li stopped swinging his sword. After a while, jiang li answered
"According to our intel, there are atleast 3 people with greater cultivation realm... "
Feng li clenched his hands in frustration.
Seeing the atmosphere, Arthur comforted.
"Don't worry too much, cultivation realm isn't everything. As far as I can see, your sword techniques are honed to great mastery. I believe you have a great chance at winning this competition. "
"Thank you master yang" Feng li smiled a bit and the atmosphere return back to normal as he continued practicing his sword arts.
After eating his breakfast, Arthur left the courtyard for his guest house. He made an excuse that he was going to cultivate but the maids still tried to strike up a conversation with him which he politely declined as he had other plans to follow.
Inside Arthur's room
"I guess it's time to explore my kamui dimension" Arthur thought as he laid on his bed.
He quickly created a shadow clone.
"Be natural" Arthur instructed to his clone
"You don't have to tell me " the clone replied in slight annoyance.
Arthur smiled slightly , "Guess it wasn't necessary"
Saying that, Arthur activated his mangekyo and vanished into his space vortex.
....
Inside the kamui dimension.
A vortex appeared and Arthur appeared out of it.
"My eyes " Arthur touched his eyes as he felt a stinging pain from them, he then checked his pts.
"My pts are being consumed to combat the blindness of my Mangekyo" Arthur thought and deactivated his Mangekyo
'I need to quickly buy the hashirama cells.'
After a while, the pain subsided and Arthur decided to start the exploration.
"Multi shadow clone jutsu! " he weaved hand signs and 5 shadow clones appeared in front of him.
[AN: he isn't Naruto so he can't create thousands of them]
"Let's start guys! " he ordered and all 6 of them scattered in opposite directions.
As time went by, Arthur realized that the kamui dimension was huge. They were travelling for 2 hours and they still couldn't see a end in sight.
"Is this dimension a sphere like a planet? " Arthur talked to himself.
Another hour went by and still they didn't find anything. Just as Arthur was about to give up and call it a day, he felt one of his shadow clone disappearing.
New memories entered his mind and there he saw a giant monolith with Otsutsuki clan symbol inscribed on it.
Seeing that Arthur became alarmed.
'Was this place created by an Otsutsuki? '
He thought of the boruto plot and another terrifying thought enter his mind which made his hands go numb.
"Was there an Otsutsuki sealed here!? "

The story right now may look a bit slow paced to some of you but i don't think that it is to a point where you might find it unbearable.
As you already know, multiple plots are brewing in the background and all the readers are in for a joyous ride so stay tuned.
As a side note, I decide to find the character illustration for jiang li and huan li but i couldn't decide on which to choose so if you guys have a picture or illustration which you like then post it in the comments section and I might choose from one of them. ]
