if you take it from face value with zero context, then yes he could just do that but if you actually watch the show and understand what's happening while there are SOME instances of dummie the writers especially in first 4 seasons wrote scenarios in that made some sense like especially with DeVoe bc Barry COULD just get rid of him but DeVoe KNEW that and made it so if anything happened to him Barry is main suspect
At that moment, Elon couldn't help but envy Barry. With such speed, he was practically invincible. Elon couldn't imagine anything that could defeat him. Of course, in the TV series, The Flash lost in ways that baffled Elon, especially by guns and flying needles. Elon didn't buy it; with that speed, was it all just a joke?
