Fireball is probably an AoE while Wind Blade is single target, so Fireball may be more useful against swarms of enemies in the future or something.
while his Level 1 Wind Blade dealt 39 points of wind damage.

As defined by the luck system in a Certain Magical Index, Touma does indeed have 0 luck, but not necessarilly in other systems, like here. My interpretation is that here 0 luck means neither good nor bad luck, but Touma has extraordinarilly bad luck. In Toaru, luck is a supernatural phenomenon, and all people receive levels of blessings of lck that generally puts them close to neutral, but at moments can tilt towards good or bad So the way I see it, Toaru may have a luck scale of 0 to 100 with 50 being neutral, whereas this may have a scale ov like -50 to 50. Uaing this logic, under this scaling system, Touma would indeed have negative luck stat.

Nathan is looking upwards at two teenages much taller then him. "And that's how I met your mother." lol, jk, couldn't resist making the reference here though.
And that's how I, Nathan Norrson, found myself in the care of the giant dwarves of Nidavellir…

It's mentioned pretty late in the web novel, but not sure if it was mentioned in the light novel or not yet, but in the web novel version it was said that Raphtalia's parents apparently migrated from far away for unknown reason, but I think it was alluded too that the tanuki demihumans were equivelent to the white tiger demihumans in Siltvelt. Presumably their kind held very high power and influence in a small demihuman country and never really left their homeland. One can speculate that Raphtalia'qs parents ran away from some form of political intrige, but that is just a guess. Why would her parents, who were likely nobles back in their homeland, migrate to a country like Melromarc? Maybe Raphtalia's father was a prince and lost an inheritance war, and was concerned the winner would want him dead? This is a plausible reason. If you want to hide from potential demihuman assassins wanting to kill you after you lost an inheritance battle, then going to Melromarc makes sense. Yes, the humans there may discriminate against you, but with fewer demihumans it is far harder for demihuman assassins to sneak up on you and assassinate you and youur wife and daughter. This aligns with the facts, scarce though they may be. Until the author gives clarification countering this, it is likely to be head canon for me. I enjoy piecing things like this together from a few scares facts and deducing outwards from that, though its not actually confirmed. All that the web novel said was that they migrated from far away, that the tanuki demihumans were previously limited to this one far away location, that they had a highly revered status in that location, and that due to Tanuki demihumans not being seen outside that land, many humans, like those in Melromarc, incorrectly assumed they were racoon demihumans.
Thinking of this, Han Li turned to look at the girl eating beside him. Xiu'er was the survivor his mother had saved. Moreover, she should have awakened her spirit that year, but due to the incident, she mistakenly awakened a beast spirit, becoming similar to the cat girl Ning Fengzhi bought at the auction in the original work. However, her martial soul was a small raccoon. (Xiu'er is Raphtalia.)

I am hopeful about this story and hope it doesn't get dropped.
Raphtalia isn't a racoon girl, though. She is misidentified as a racoon girl by the people of Melromarc, but she and her parents are/were Tanuki girls. Tanuki = Japanese racoon dog. It's a canine/dog with similar ears, tails and coloration to racoons, but other then these similarities in appearance, they are completely different species. In the rising of the Shield Hero it is later revealed that Racoon folk tend to notbe aesthetically pleasing (are less attractive) while tanuki have less sharp and more aesthetically pleasing/beautiful appearances in that setting.

To be fair, if their Throne of heroes starts getting access to characters from other universes we could get female einstein and tesla from Honkai Impact 3rd, lol. Female Schrodinger too.
Damn, I missed watching it live. But holy shit, there are two historical figures literally siding with Chaldea. That's really big news. Who else do they have in their organization, I wonder? Napoleon? Lu Bu? Geronimo? A male Cleopatra? Or a female Albert Einstein? Sounds so exciting, and it will also prove that history books are incorrect, lol.

The trace is placed when they enter hogwarts. After all, Hermione was able to practice a lot of spells before starting her first year because the trace was not in place at that time.
