บท 2: Chapter Two

Aaron felt the cool liquid of his own blood as a small bit of it slipped into his mouth, from the poor state of his bleeding nose. He met the cold eyes of the enemy, and for a second, he felt hesitation. As it did, it was only for a second, as he felt his body regain control, and his thoughts act as the fuel that kept himself running. He managed another punch upon the person who'd destroyed his life, but it didn't feel quiet like enough. So as he mustered and managed another one, he could feel the distant hot temperatures of the distant warm ones standing around him from all different sides, watching from a distance as once of their own is beaten up. Aside from the fact that Aaron had an audience, none of that mattered quiet as much. What mattered was how he felt. Aaron didn't always show his emotions, rather hide them away as if what he was feeling had never came up to the surface before, it was Alec, his boyfriend of four years, who'd been the only one capable to bring those emotions back out, and keep them out till they were solved.

Alec truly understood Aaron. As Aaron understood Alec. Now that he wasn't with him anymore, Aaron was starting to feel himself falling apart. He knew of one thing and one thing only, he had to get to Earth, to bring him back. Restore his memories, and reunite. It wasn't an order. Aaron knew if he landed one last punch, Zane, would have to give himself up and tell him what he needed to know? Aaron was counting on him too.

With many shattered holes where the ice used to be, Aaron had gotten some pretty bad hits upon himself, from the times Zane had caught him off guard. He could see from the weakened state of the ice skin he'd created with his abilities to act as a shield, to protect his body was starting to fail, not long now would it hold together. He'd lose in less than a few minuets if another hit managed to knock into it, or from the beat of the heat of the other teenage warm ones, who's fire would melt it much faster, if he didn't act upon casting another one. Aaron feared more blood would have to be spilled if Zane kept holding on.

Another punch to Zane's face sent him to the ground with a rather large thud. Aaron who wiped the blood and cracked pieces of ice from his chest, as quickly as he could. Stopping for a moment to gaze at the clean blood staining his fingertips. It didn't take to long to wipe it all away. But as his cheek burned from the previous morning, he felt the tension, as the pain only caused swollen skin and black shadows acting as a bruise surrounding where he'd been hit by Zane during the first fight. The fight, that caused him to indore the worst punishment he'd ever been given.

And in a sense, it was him, who should've been sent to Earth with no memory. Not Alec.

''Tell me where it is. I know you have it.''

''Have what? I don't know what your talking about! Your just upset at me for what happened this morning, angry because you couldn't stop what happened to your boyfriend!'' Zane cried. Angrily wiping the sudden blood that slipped into one of his eyes, resulting in his eye having to be closed, only able to stare through one remaining eye. His face was pale as the burning of flames spread along his body. His clothing seemed to be burned away almost immediately, and for once, Zane's words didn't just seem that of a bullies, more of a demon.

His entire body was swallowed by his own flames, the flames were coursing up and down his entire body, pulsing up and down his face as if the stuff replaced the blood in his veins. His hair was orange now, resembling that of his orange vibrant flames, that rose upwards and flowed through the wind of the night. Aaron felt a simple tightness in his body, as he followed to conquer the warm one. This was his chance. The chance he'd been waiting for. Burnished and badly wounded, blood practically oozing from the large wounds along his chest, and cheeks, rolling down his face, and staining the sweet, but metal taste, to his tongue, as it stained the front row of his pearly white teeth.

As a crack and shattering sound later, Aaron watched slowly, but quickly as the remains of the protection of the ice skin he'd created fell to the ground in front of his feet. The small pieces vanished right on empact and a few big pieces became medium sized pieces. His eyes oozed with the facial expression of tension, as he was embraced by the thought of seeing Alec again. With that thought he felt his muscles and veins start to freeze, as the whiteness of his skin faded, resembling to a very bright blue color. The brightest blue, that made the blue sky look like a joke. As his skin continued to lose his original color, he was almost completely swallowed by the sudden coolness of the icy cold temperatures of his abilities.

''Aaron! Aaron what're you doing??'' Aaron felt the warm normal temperature return almost immediately, as the bright blue color vanished, sliding down his forehead, then his cheeks, ending down his arms, and returning back into his palms. With a frown on his face, which was lit up by the flames of Zane's true form, as his white hair resembled shadows almost immediately, from the dark sky shinning down on him.

''What're you doing? You can't fight Zane, you'll get in trouble with my father!'' Aaron pushed his thoughts around in his mind, as he tried to make a calm face. The anger he felt towards Zane, and now the mysterious person trying to tell him what to do, was almost, but not completely making him aware to a bit of resistance.

''Lucifer? What're you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home?'' Aaron hissed, as his eyes met with dark green ones. Lucifer payne. Middle child of one older sister, and one younger. One named Chloe, the other, Sophia, and the only son of Judge Payne. The same judge who'd sentence him with that awful sentence, just that morning. Dark green eyes, and light blonde hair. Possibly 4'5 and a weight of 149. Best friend and close neighbour with his abandoned father, Armour Channing. Dead beat, never ever visited Aaron. Left him and his mother behind, when Aaron was only young. Not even specking yet, Aaron could still remember his exact face that night. The night, his mother, had been forced to tell him the awful news.....

''I was at home! Until I heard the commotion, then I saw the fire. Put down, dude.'' Lucifer nudged Zane, who turned to him with a chill face, as Zane's entire body went out. Leaving him completely bare, as one of his friends was quick to pass him a dark colored robe, prepared for the very moment when he'd unleash.

''Why are you fighting Zane? Are you asking to meet with my father again?''

''I didn't have a choice, Lucifer. If I have to get into a few fights to learn the information I need, I'm fine to get a few bloody noses.'' Aaron's cold blue eyes froze Lucifers soul almost immediately, and for once, the young warm one wasn't sure who he was seeing. Aaron Channing? Who? This wasn't him. This wasn't the cold one he'd became friends with. Lucifer was sure to himself, not to hold any of Aaron's words against him. Not after he been informed of Alec karmari that morning.

''I heard what happened to Alec! I know he was sentenced to Earth with you!'' Lucifer shouted.

''And you know it was because of this prick, right?'' Aaron replied. His eyes edged deeply into Zane's warm soul. Zane knew where he stood during this conversation, and told himself it was a good time to leave. So as he turned around to leave, him and the rest of his friends turning their backs for a split second, Aaron grunted under his breath, swearing under his breath, as he launched forwards, straight at Zane. Lucifer, who'd always been a little faster than Aaron, pushed his arm out in front of him, catching Aaron, and securing him before he could act upon his deadly wishes.

''LET GO OF ME!'' He shouted fighting against Lucifers grip, as spit flew from his mouth.

''You can't do this! Not now, your not yourself!''

''Shut up! You know nothing about me? I'm a lot more powerful when I'm angry! Don't make me-'' Aaron was interrupted by the sudden burst of pain along one of his arms, as smoke loomated from his burning flesh. He grunted, and cried out in frustrated pain as his cold tear filled eyes stared at Lucifer which just betrayal.

''You-you-burned me?'' He chocked holding his arm tightly, as he tried to freeze the wound, to try and relive himself with coolness.

''I had no choice, Aaron, you made me do that. I didn't want to, believe me. It was my only choice, to stop you. With Alec gone, your not being reasonable.''

''Reasonable? How can I be reasonable, Alec is gone. Banished to a planet, that I may not follow him. Taken from him his memory, and memory of me. All the time we spent together, the time I told him ''I love you'' How on earth, can I be reasonable!''

''Your just going to have to try. As you said, ''you may not follow.'' Lucifer repeated.

''I may not follow'' is making fun of me, really want you want to do right now? Cause clearly, I'm not being reasonable! Which means, I don't give a fuck what I do to you!'' Aaron bit down on a huge part of his bottom lip, before the pain of his fresh burn returned. The power and maxamine heat from Lucifer's powers acting as a suitable heat source, acting as a strong enough source to burn through Aaron's ice. Which these days, was becoming easier and easier to melt.

''Your getting sick, Aaron. As powerful as you are, your ice shouldn't melt so easily. You shouldn't have been burned so easily. You need to order an appointment with the doctor. They can handle a case like you.''

''I'm fine. I don't need you to recommend help to me, Lucifer. I can handle my health on my own. Now bud out.'' Aaron pushed himself past the warm one that was Lucifer Payne almost as quickly as he could, even with little anger he felt at that moment, he still tried to act as if he was steamed. However, Lucifer had a point. He was on to something. Aaron suddenly didn't feel so good as he pushed himself to keep going on ahead. His mother needed him home. And as tired as he was, there was still the matter of the information he needed to get access to. The information that would grant the safe return of Alec.

But the thought froze into the back of his mind even still. A chance to come back to it once everything was good and safe. Aaron's ice shouldn't have been melted so easily. Aaron could feel himself getting sick. Which mean't one thing...one thing he'd dreaded since he'd been taught about it in his ninth year of magic school. Shallowing the tightness in his throat, he stormed through the doors of his home, twenty minuets later, as he saw his mothers sweet, loving eyes, ready to greet him. He allowed himself to melt into her gental touch.....Clara Channing was able to ignore the dried amounts of blood coded all along her sons body, for that moment, as she hugged tighter, as tears streamed down her face, as she was faced with a sudden image of a much older looking man. Accompanied with bright snow white hair.
