บท 12: Chapter 12
In the Main Hall of Von Family Mansion,
Lambert sat next to the Leader's seat and observed everyone.
John had ordered everyone to be present today in the Main hall.
After sometime Elder Dimitri couldn't bear the silence in the hall and the curiosity of why the meeting has been conducted today, so he stood up from his seat and came forward.
"Leader, what is the purpose of today's meeting?" Elder Dimitri said as he bowed towards the Grand Elder, Miss Alice and the Leader.
" Don't be impatient Elder Dimitri and sit down, we will then talk about it." John said as he gestured him to sit down.
After everyone sat down, John gestured to his father and then said "Everyone, the Grand Elder wants to say something to all of you."
Every elders looked towards Lambert, to listen what is so important that all the 20 elders have been called today.
Lambert stood up from his seat and came forward.
"Fellow elders, as you all know that it is the first time that someone with dual abilities has been born in our family."
As everyone nodded, Lambert once again continued.
"I wanted to say that we should send Jack to the Royal City to study in either Meteor Academy or Blood Academy with his choice."
Everyone started to chat among them after hearing this news.
"But Grand Elder, if we send him then our family financial situation will suffer very much." A elder said.
"I know but you all should understand that it is our only chance to make our family powerful." Lambert replied.
The elders once again talked among themselves then Elder Lucien came forward.
"Grand Elder, as you know we all have our kids so after talking with every elders here we came to an idea."
Lambert frowned slightly at his words but still gestured him to continue.
"We came to a decision that Jack and the other Family kids will have a competition of who can do better in the fight against Kyle family, 2 months from now."
"Jack can go even if he does bad but then the family will give him only 20% financial support, as for rest he have to earn it himself."
"And if any other Family kids also does better then he will be send to the Meteor Academy."
Elder Lucien finished and smiled towards the Grand Elder.
Lambert frowned slightly but the proposal is fair so he can't deny it.
"Like this we can also motivate our kids to practice more and show our power to the Kyle family, so they can understand that they will always be our subordinate." Elder Lucien once again said to pressure the Grand Elder in accepting the proposal.
Lambert stayed silent for sometime then nodded.
"Alright, it is fair so I will accept your terms."
John then stood up and said "So as the terms has been made, the one who does better against the Kyle Family will have the family support in joining the Meteor Academy."
At the declaration of the Leader, everyone nodded then after sometime the meeting was completed.
In the courtyard of Jack,
Jack was practicing very vigorously and often also trained with his father.
He wanted to become a 2nd Rank Meteorite Warrior very quickly.
"Brother Jackk.."
Jack opened his eyes interrupted by the voice. Realising who it was, he started to rub his head in exhaustion.
The door to his room opened abruptly and a robust kid entered the room.
"Brother Jack, let's go to the market today and you can also explore our territory."
Ned said as he came in front of his friend and started jumping.
Jack has made him a friend at the age of 5, because of constant nagging from his mother that he should make a friend.
At first, Jack had made him his friend only for his mother but after sometime they became very good friends.
Ned is very burly for his age because he is the child of the Von Blacksmith Family and did blacksmithing with his father often.
Jack thought for sometime and realised that he truly has never gone out of the mansion to explore his territory.
His father didn't allow him to go out because he was very small at that time.
"Alright, let's go as I also want to explore the territory."
Hearing his friend's approval, Ned became very happy.
"Yay, let's go brother Jack."
Jack first went to his father to ask for his permission.
As he entered his office, he saw his father reading some papers.
John put aside the paper after he saw his son.
"What do you need, Jack."
"Father, I want to go out with Ned." Jack said, slightly nervous that his father will disapprove.
Seeing Jack's nervousness, John relaxed his expression and said "You can go but don't be late to come home."
Hearing the answer, Jack became excited and ran to his father and hugged him.
"Thank You, father."
" It's Ok, now go and remember to come early."
Jack nodded and left the office.
Seeing Jack leaving with a happy expression, John also smiled.
Ned was becoming anxious outside the Mansion's gate because it has been several minutes since Jack went to ask his father's permission.
"Looks like his father didn't gave permission." Ned sighed heavily and prepared himself to leave.
Just as he was about to leave, he saw Jack coming happily towards him.
"Brother Ned let's go, father has given me permission." Jack said smiling.
"Yess, let's go."
After that they left the Mansion, and they went towards the territories main market or trade centre.
