บท 1: PROLOGUE – DEATH
Tell me one thing, how would you feel if you were suddenly fired from your job where you have been working for more than 20 years? Well, that's what happened to me, but misfortunes don't come alone, because right after my dismissal, I found my wife having sex with what I thought was my best friend, that was devastating for me.
My name? It doesn't matter, what you should know now is that my life is complete shit, I studied all my life to carve out a good future, I studied a degree and graduated from university only to end up being a simple office worker, not that I despise that job, but I had not studied to end up being that, my destiny was much greater... Or so I thought at first, but after 20 years of working a low-paying job, I was now on the street, without a wife, friends and even family.
My parents had already passed away and since I was an only child, I was now alone in the world, I don't understand why all this happened to me, after working so hard for so long... Now I'm on the street, with no money, no friends, and no home.
Before filing for divorce, my ex-wife reported me for abuse and I spent time in jail and my friend, who should have supported me, was fucking my ex-wife all this time.
So, after two years in prison, imprisoned for a crime I didn't commit, with no money, no family, no home, I was a complete homeless person living among the garbage.
"It's funny, all my life striving, studying and being an exemplary citizen to end up on the fucking street, how much hard can be the life?" – I said while lying on the ground.
I didn't want to live, I was fed up with everything.
"If only I could reincarnate, like in the novels I read when I was a child, that would be great..." – I said looking at the sky.
But I knew that life was not so beautiful and I already knew that from experience.
"Anyway, I think the time has come, I'm alone, I don't have a family, no money and much less a house, I have no reason to continue living" – I sighed.
Then, gathering my last strength, I got up and went to the train tracks, that's right, I was going to commit suicide, I was tired of living and I knew that my life would not improve, so the best thing was to end with this suffering, If I die I could rest once and for all.
"Dad, mom, your son is going there, I know you'll scold me in heaven, but at least we'll all be together, just wait for me, I'll be there in a few minutes" – I said.
Step by step I walked to the train tracks, which were no more than 10 minutes away, but since I hadn't eaten or drunk for several days, I was at the limit of my strength.
It was night, so there weren't many people who looked at me with disgust, although I didn't care anyway, I don't care about anything anymore.
It was a warm and very pleasant night, but it was also unusually dark, only the light of the streetlights illuminated the streets and before I knew it, there was not a single person walking.
I knew it was strange that there was no one on the street, but I didn't care and I kept walking.
After what seemed like hours, I met an extremely handsome man, no, I'm not gay, but I know when a man is handsome.
The man had blonde hair, blue eyes and was dressed in jeans and a white T-shirt with a Pikachu drawing.
"Pokémon..." – I muttered.
Pokémon was my favorite anime when I was a kid, in fact, I must admit that I cried when Ash left the anime.
I don't know if the gentleman heard me or not, but he approached me with a smile.
"Good evening, sir" - said the man.
"Good evening" – I said.
"Sir, would you mind answering me a few questions?" - the man asked.
"Why should I?" – I asked in a disrespectful tone.
For God's sake, let me kill myself once and for all, my parents are waiting for me.
"Don't be angry, sir, these are simple questions, how can you see from my t-shirt, I'm a fan of Pokémon and I'd like to ask you a few questions about the anime" – said the man.
"I'm sorry, I stopped watching the anime when Ash left it, I'm afraid I can't help you" – I said.
Until this day the anime was still broadcast, I saw it in the advertising I saw in the trash and stuff, but I don't remember who the protagonist is right now, nor am I interested.
"Oh, well, perfect, I like Ash too!, And although I've watched the anime so far, I don't like Liko too much, don't you think, sir?" – said the man.
Liko... the name of the protagonist of the new anime of Pokémon, although I don't know if she will still be the protagonist after so many years, although thinking about it, Ash was more than 20 years in the anime... so Liko may still be the protagonist.
"It's not that I don't like Liko, it's just that for me the anime without Ash... it's not to my liking" – I said.
"I see, so you think like me, but tell me one thing, which season was your favorite? I mean, which Ash did you like the most? The one from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unnova, Kalos, Alola or Galar?" – asked the man.
"Even though it was very hated, for me, the first season is the best, without a doubt" - I said.
Call me classic if you want, but I loved Kanto's Ash.
"Curious choice, but one more thing, which movies did you like the most?" – asked the man.
"Mmm, I guess the movie I liked the most was the third, then the fifth and finally the first, the rest are not bad, but... I didn't like them as much as those three" – I replied.
"Oh, I must admit that you surprise me, of all the people I asked, you are the first to tell me the third and the fifth, many told me the first, but those two... I don't think anyone mentioned them to me until now, why do you like those two? It's just curiosity, if you don't want to answer me, don't do it" – said the man.
"Hmm, if I had to give you an answer it's because I think Molly could have become Ash's little sister, I always thought it would have been better if her mother had been dead instead of missing" – I said.
Don't blame me for saying those words, we are talking about an anime, it is unreal, it doesn't matter if I want the dead of a character, after all, they are fictional people.
"I see, then, would you have preferred that her mother was dead and that Molly had become Ash's sister?" – the man asked.
"That's right, it may sound a bit cruel, but that's my opinion" – I nodded.
"Perfect, and why do you like the fifth movie?" – the man asked again.
"I always wanted Ash to capture Latias, even in the anime it didn't happen, a shame" – I said.
"I see, and one last question, would you change anything about the first movie?" – the man asked again.
"Just one thing" – I said.
"Which one?" - the man asked curiously.
"If Ash had catched Mew at that time... I think anime would have become super interesting" – I said.
Hearing that, the man took out a small yellow notebook, took out a pen and wrote something down there.
"What are you writing there?" – I asked curiously.
"Your answers, I like to write down the opinions of others, but don't worry, I won't post it on Internet" – said the man.
"I don't care, do what I want, anyway from tomorrow I will no longer exist in this world" – I said.
"Are you going to commit suicide or something?" – the man asked.
"That's right, life is shit and I don't want to go on living, are you going to stop me?" – I said.
I was already a little impatient, I wanted to leave and commit suicide now so that I could be reunited with my loved ones.
"No, just take this as a thank you for answering my questions" - the man said.
Then, he took out a rather ugly green ring, really.
"I don't want it, I've already told you I'm going to kill myself, give it to someone else, it's a waste to give it to me" – I said rejecting the man.
"As I told you, it's like gratitude for you, I don't care that you're going to commit suicide later" - said the man.
"Hey, I said that..." – I meant.
But suddenly, the ring appeared on my finger as if by magic.
"What, how is that possible? Hey, what have you done?" – I wanted to ask.
But when I looked again, the man was gone.
"Whatever" – I said angrily.
I tried to take off the ring and throw it on the floor, but I couldn't, it's as if I had it stuck to my body.
"Damn! What is this ring shit made of? Bah, I'm not going to keep wasting time, I'm leaving!" – I said.
Then, I walked to the nearest station and stood in front of the train tracks.
The train could already be seen in the distance, so it was time...
"Here I go, Dad, Mom" – I said.
And then, before the terrified gaze of passers-by, I threw myself onto the train tracks and immediately afterwards I lost consciousness.
But what our protagonist did not see is that at the moment the train ran him over, the ring flashed with an intense green light and disappeared.

Bloodnight
Bloodnight Well... after a long time, the Pokémon fic has finally come back! I must say that I did not upload it before because I literally wanted this fic to be much better than the previous one, but nothing occurred to me and I had to think about it months before I came up with something.
So far I have written a few chapters, which will have 1300 words each, this has been an exception because it is the prologue.
On the other hand, all the characters from my previous fic will be in this, only some will appear much later than normal, but they will appear yes or yes.
Anyway, enjoy the remake of my other fic, but this time much better written and elaborated.
