บท 48: Notice and Help with a ff idea
Hey, everyone. My bad for running off for the last month or so. The real world came by knocking on my door, so I had to prioritise that for the most part. Fuxked me sideways and didn't even invite me for coffee first, but that's not here nor there.
Additionally, although it's not the best excuse (despite being true), I got ADD and an attention span of a train-loving enthusiast. So the combination of those god-like traits usually results in me being easily bored about most things. Unfortunately, improving an already decently written and completed high-quality novel is one of those things. So all in all, my bad.
But hey, Blazuki is goated, so y'all ain't losing much. Hope the work so far has been good enough. I've made it as obvious as humanly possible about where to find the OG fic, so go nuts))
And now comes the real kicker! *Insert drum roll music and maybe a PLUS ULTRA soundtrack for the fuxk of it* 🥁🥁🥁
I need some advice on a passion project of mine- a One Piece fan fic. What?! Shocker…
The novels name will be "One Piece: I am Haku" [subject to change]. I loved Haku as a character in Naruto and felt like giving him some love. Also, I'm a fan of action/adventure/romance novels and have been feeling a lack of such from the OP fandom recently (if y'all got any suggestions on some good ones with those tags, send them through🙌🏻). And so one day at 2am, after some life-changing pushups, I threw up 5 chapters on a piece of paper with this idea in mind. Afterwards, I looked at them, realised that maybe I should sleep, think a little bit and ask advice before revising those chapters a bit.
Anyways, here're the key points:
-Male protagonist, around his mid twenties, transmigrates into the world of One Piece (✨so original, so cute, so demure✨). However, during the transmigration, he merges with Haku's soul.
-The new body will be that of a young boy with Haku's appearance. His temperament and behaviour will be the mix of both Haku and OG's personalities. Kinda like the best of both worlds type beat.
-He will look like Haku and have his memories and ninja training/experience. So cold and collected when needed, but not a psycho (aka still a human being with morals and a sense of humor).
-I am planning on giving him the Snow-Snow fruit as Kuzan already got the Ice-Ice one. Besides, I feel like exploring this Logia fruit will be pretty cool and I already have a ton of ideas about potential "Snow Releases" and fruit awakening stuff. But I'm not making an instantly OP-slap the Five Elders in 2 years-type of MC, so don't expect too much too quickly. But I'm not making a wet-wipe either, he will be strong but nothing too drastic too quickly.
-There 100% will be romance. Not sure about the pacing with that one, but we'll see.
-Probably won't be a harem. I don't mind reading those type of novels, but writing one leaves an icky taste in my mouth. So even if there is one, it will be max 2 people (but don't get your hopes up).
- I plan to make this story an overall positive story. Of course, it's the pirate world, so it's not all sunshine and rainbows. But the novel is meant to be a fun read, so comedy
Now, here are stuff I need your advice in:
- When and where should the MC wake up?
In Fuchsia village with our main boys? Meeting Robin sometime while she's on the run? Training with Zorro in Shimotsuki village? Or maybe in a different Sea all together? I need a kick of inspiration in the right direction to start the snowball effect.
- Or maybe, start the novel with him transmigrating and then introduce a time skip. Afterwards, as the adventure goes on we see hints and pieces of info as to what the MC did during that time and who he is/was, his goals/actions/ambitions (If that makes sense).
- I kinda want the MC to follow the main squad, but I have ideas about his own crew as well. Right now, got two OC ideas and a couple of OG characters that could be a part of it. Your thoughts: going with canon crew or doing my own thing?
- Any thoughts on the female romantic partner?
- Any things y'all want to see changed from canon events?
