The proficiency of the Flying Thunder God Technique was improving, as was the control over the Impure World. The animosity between Hiruzen and Danzo was also being stoked. It was uncertain if they would carry the grievances from their dreams into reality.
He also obtained the Nine-Tails chakra, allowing Godzilla to recover and replenish.
"Forgetting to visit Mikoto-san was a bit regrettable," thought Yoichi.
It wasn't because of Mikoto's health. Yoichi wanted to finalize business deals before his departure so that business would continue in his absence.
This would keep Mikoto busy, preventing her from possibly dwelling on negative thoughts during a month of rest.
However, there was no need to rush. There was still another day tomorrow, and he could use the powers of the dream world in advance.
Yoichi reflected that his only current weakness might be his lesser amount of chakra compared to the true monsters of the ninja world; however, compared to others, his chakra was exceptionally abundant.
The Lightning Release Chakra Mode that hardened his body and increased his speed, his sword techniques that carried the piercing nature of lightning, the insight and genjutsu of the three tomoe Sharingan, the life-saving Flying Thunder God Technique, and the lethal radiation heat blasts of the Godzilla Mode.
Even ninja of the Five Kage level could fall to him if they were careless.
Ordinary ninja were no match for Yoichi, unless, like the assassination of the Third Raikage, tens of thousands of ninja were used to deplete his chakra, and that too, by sealing away the Flying Thunder God Technique.
However, that would be quite difficult. If Yoichi wished to escape, no other ninja village could stop him.
Increasing his own chakra by sealing a Tailed Beast was one method, but not suitable for him; having Godzilla inside was enough, sealing another Tailed Beast would likely lead to mutual destruction.
Then there were the Hashirama cells, which could be considered a miraculous item in the ninja world for decades. If only Hashirama had the habit of cremating bodies, starting with Uchiha, then Zetsu's plans would have been delayed by hundreds of years.
Unfortunately, he was fond of research!
Fusing with Hashirama cells also benefited the Sharingan, not fearing blindness anymore with the Mangekyo Sharingan, in addition to increased chakra and healing abilities.
However, Yoichi had not yet fully studied Hashirama cells. Although he could manifest Hashirama cells in the dream space, integrating them perfectly into a test subject required much more time for fusion.
Especially since Yoichi was not a research-oriented individual, his methods were purely built on the failures of test subjects.
"Can't sleep, might as well practice with the Star Stone," thought Yoichi, deciding to go to the basement to practice with the Star Stone after lying in bed for a while.
Preparing in advance and waking up immediately when the time came ensured safety; he had practiced with the Star Stone a few times, and besides a slight increase in chakra, there were no other changes.
A night's practice slightly enhanced the power of his Sharingan. This time he clearly noticed the change in his Sharingan, confirming his speculation about the Star Stone.
...
In the morning, after breakfast, Yoichi went out to meet his three students to inform them that they would be departing for the battlefield tomorrow.
Upon hearing the news, the father of Kazuhito, a blacksmith, showed obvious concern. It's common for ninja from civilian families to fear war, whereas ninja families are accustomed to life and death.
Kurenai and Rumi's families were prepared, with Yoichi also meeting Kurenai Shinku, a famous jōnin in the village known for manipulating enemies with genjutsu.
If not for the genjutsu fame of the Uchiha and Kurama clans, Shinku's genjutsu might have been considered the best in Konoha.
When Yoichi arrived to inform them, Shinku treated him politely, only mentioning that his daughter was causing trouble for Yoichi before leaving it at that.
As for Rumi, Yoichi didn't even meet her parents, only her older sister.
Tomorrow they would depart for the Eastern Front. Today was spent preparing. As Yoichi passed by a ninja tool shop, he saw many ninja stocking up on tools.
Although the Uchiha clan had also stockpiled many ninja tools, Yoichi had already reduced the amount sold externally, prioritizing supply to his clan's ninja.
---
Just returning to the clan area, Yoichi felt his home was crowded with many people, two of whom he was familiar with in terms of chakra.
Upon reaching his front door, Yoichi greeted, "Mikoto-san, and Kushina, what brings you both here?"
"I came because of what happened last time. I talked to them earlier, then met Mikoto-san at your clan's gate, so she was kind enough to show me the way. That should be fine, right?"
Kushina looked directly at Yoichi, referring to the incident of sealing something within her last night.
She came to inform Yoichi that she hadn't spoken of his actions and to inquire how she might assist in controlling the Tailed Beast's power.
If she could control the Tailed Beast's power sooner, she wouldn't have to be monitored and confined.
However, she was stopped by the Anbu in the morning because of the incident at the Uchiha clan area, causing concern among the Anbu.
After multiple explanations from Kushina, and her showing some improvement last night, the Anbu reported to Hiruzen, allowing Kushina permission to visit.
Yoichi then turned to Mikoto-san, who, feeling his gaze, remembered the dream, blushing slightly and looking away, "I came to report on previous matters. There have been quite a few tasks accumulating that I need to report to Yoichi-kun."
"Then let's go inside. I also have some arrangements to make before leaving, so let's discuss everything at once."
After Yoichi spoke, he headed inside.
Kushina followed, but upon taking a few steps, she realized someone was missing and turned back to see.
"Mikoto, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
Mikoto regained her composure and then followed inside.
It was Kushina's first visit to Yoichi's home, and she noticed the nice décor. The house's only distinctive feature was its size, capable of accommodating ten people easily, though currently only Yoichi and Mina resided there.
After seating them in the living room, Yoichi served them tea and asked, "Both of you have matters to discuss. Kushina, would you like to start?"
"Let Mikoto speak first. I'm not in a hurry, and what I have to say is a bit..."
Kushina hesitated, limited by regulations regarding the Nine-Tails and her status as its jinchuriki, which was highly confidential in the village.
"Then, Mikoto-san, please go ahead. What you have to report about clan finances and upcoming plans might take a while."
Yoichi reminded them, preferring to listen to Mikoto-san's report last when undisturbed.
However, Kushina seemed not to understand the implication and shook her head, "No issue. I have plenty of time every day, usually with little to do."
"Then let me start."
Mikoto began, her thoughts inevitably drifting to the dream and her embarrassment at being in Yoichi's presence.
"Let's move to another room. I have some new tasks for you. Kushina, feel free to help yourself to anything in the fridge if you're hungry."
Yoichi stood and headed upstairs, with Mikoto hesitating before following.
After their departure, Kushina muttered, "I'm not hungry," but eventually got up to check the fridge, driven by curiosity more than hunger.
Yoichi and Mikoto entered a sparsely furnished room on the second floor. After sitting down, Yoichi immediately inquired about the accumulated tasks.
Mikoto presented organized files for Yoichi's review, allowing him to prioritize.
The assistant's work was commendable.
As Yoichi reviewed the documents, he found the pharmaceutical factory's profits and expansion plans required no immediate action, unless threats from ninjas or imitation arose.
The ninja game strategy was successful, with growing weekly profits.
Military weaponry faced challenges due to monopolization by the five great nations, but a new business involving magical goats showed promise.
After a year, the breeding of magical goats had expanded significantly. Yoichi had tried them at Kenji the elder's house, finding no change in taste or effect, making them ready for sale within the clan or externally.
Mikoto summarized the clan members' needs well.
"Mikoto-san, you've done an excellent job. It was a waste to have you as just a housewife before," praised Yoichi, then addressed the tasks Mikoto had presented.
Trusting clan members with their business ideas, Yoichi planned to let Mikoto purchase land near the clan area for a market and entertainment venues, anticipating population growth in Konoha.
After Yoichi finished, Mikoto had noted everything, asking if there was anything else.
"Nothing for now. These tasks will keep you busy. We'll discuss more when I return from the battlefield."
"Then," Mikoto began, recalling a specific part of the dream, her face reddening as she glanced at Yoichi, worried about the consequences of her actions in the dream and whether Yoichi had sought medical advice.
"Mikoto-san, something else?"
Yoichi noted Mikoto's demeanor, her casual attire highlighting her gentle nature.
"About last time, I accidentally squeezed too hard. Has it gotten better?"
Mikoto asked, deeply embarrassed.
Yoichi, amused by her concern, adopted a pained expression, misleadingly suggesting he was unsure of his condition due to impending battlefield duty and his unmarried status.
Mikoto, feeling guilty, wondered how to help, suggesting Yoichi try a method herself, which Yoichi feigned offense at.
Clarifying her intention, Mikoto was taken aback when Yoichi suggested she assist him, a proposal she initially refused due to her marital status.
Yoichi's words amplified Mikoto's guilt and sense of responsibility, leading her to reluctantly agree to help...

"Why is this taking so long? I should have spoken up earlier. Why did I let the second person speak first? If I had, I might be home by now," Kushina lamented after finishing her pudding, feeling bored and alone.
Contemplating a visit upstairs to remind them, she quietly approached their room, hearing a suspicious sound that reminded her of eating popsicles as a child.
Annoyed at being made to wait, Kushina considered confronting them about enjoying ice cream without her.

บท 111: Chapter 111

Absorbing someone else's chakra is difficult from the outside unless one naturally possesses such ability or uses secret techniques, like the Rinnegan's sealing absorption or Wood Release, etc.
However, inside Kushina, no secret technique is needed to absorb the Nine-Tails' chakra; it freely emanates, beyond the seal's control within Kushina.
Tailed Beast chakra is a unique life energy that can significantly accelerate Godzilla's growth. The negative emotions within the Nine-Tails' chakra seem to have no effect on Godzilla.
After absorbing the Nine-Tails' chakra, Godzilla simply fell asleep, seemingly less affected than when absorbing meteorite energy.
Overexerting Godzilla's energy during the battle with the Third Raikage caused it to fall into a deep slumber from which it has yet to awaken. Now presented with the chance to obtain the Nine-Tails' chakra, Yoichi didn't want to miss out.
Upon reaching Kushina's side, Yoichi placed his hand on her shoulder. Without much effort, he felt a continuous flow of chakra pouring into him.
The malicious and negatively charged chakra was uncomfortable, but within Yoichi's tolerance.
The Sharingan also has a suppressing effect on Tailed Beast chakra.
For Kushina, it felt like grabbing a lifeline; suddenly, someone appeared beside her to share the burden of negative emotions and the Tailed Beast chakra.
Unsure of who it was, her instinct to avoid being consumed by the Nine-Tails prompted her to share the chakra with this newcomer.
This shared burden significantly relieved Kushina, helping her escape from the hellish negative emotions.
"Minato, is that you? Yoichi? What are you doing here?"
Kushina, feeling the warm hand that pulled her from despair, initially thought it might be Minato, but turned to find Yoichi.
Last time, he had embarrassed her among the Uchiha, causing her surprise and confusion. Why would Yoichi be here, in her internal sealing space?
"Don't just stand there, hurry up and use the Adamantine Sealing Chains to absorb the Nine-Tails' chakra!"
"Why? Why would I do that?"
Kushina, puzzled by Yoichi's suggestion, protested, "The Nine-Tails' chakra is too hard to control. Actively absorbing it would surely overwhelm me, putting me in danger."
"Stop arguing. Without me, you'd already be under the Nine-Tails' influence. Just absorb it; I'm here to help you. What are you afraid of?"
"But..."
Kushina hesitated, but feeling the pressure on her lessen until the escaping Nine-Tails' chakra vanished, she stopped objecting.
Considering Yoichi had just saved her, she decided to temporarily trust him.
"Alright, but I'll absorb it slowly. If anything goes wrong, I'll seal the Nine-Tails with a sealing jutsu."
Deciding, Kushina began to form hand signs. The next moment, the Adamantine Chains wrapped around the Nine-Tails suddenly tightened, drawing in the Tailed Beast's chakra through the chains.
After absorbing a large amount of the Nine-Tails' chakra, Kushina quickly felt unbearable pain and knelt, her face twisting into a near-frenzied expression, and her body showing signs of a second-stage Tailed Beast transformation.
However, Yoichi quickly took in the Nine-Tails' chakra, easing the pressure on Kushina.
Once she recovered, Kushina realized, "You're absorbing the Nine-Tails' chakra?"
"I'm saving you. Without me, you'd already be under the Nine-Tails' influence."
"But, aren't you absorbing the Nine-Tails' chakra?"
"The two aren't mutually exclusive. Focus on absorbing the Nine-Tails' chakra. This way, you can also control its power faster. Train well; you also want to master the Tailed Beast's power soon and escape your current situation, right?"
Yoichi's words struck a chord with Kushina, reminding her of her imprisonment, loneliness, and restrictions as a Jinchuriki.
Though she had met Minato, his increasing duties meant less time together, and she faced rejection when leaving the village.
"Then, I'll listen to you for now."
Kushina, somewhat persuaded, deeply understood the Jinchuriki's plight and was more aware of it from Yoichi, who had been unwelcome even in the Uchiha clan's territory.
If there was a way to escape her fate, Kushina would try anything; she had always attempted the Cloud Village's method for controlling Tailed Beasts, albeit too hastily today.
Following Yoichi's instructions, Kushina continued to draw in the Nine-Tails' chakra.
With Yoichi sharing the bulk of it, Kushina became more proficient in controlling the remaining Nine-Tails' chakra.
"Foolish humans!"
The Nine-Tails, seeing its plan fail and its bindings growing tighter while its chakra was absorbed, roared in anger.
Regardless of its protests, the chakra was still being absorbed.
After a while, Yoichi announced, "That's about enough."
"What do you mean by 'enough'?"
Kushina, confused by his statement, found herself covered in a Tailed Beast cloak, with the signs of Tailed Beast transformation on her face and three chakra tails swaying behind her.
The chakra she had just absorbed, mostly taken by Yoichi, left only a small part in her body.
But this was enough for Kushina, as her progress tonight exceeded that of the past half-year.
As Kushina pondered, she suddenly found herself in an unfamiliar place.
"Where is this?"
Yoichi waved his hand, "That's not important. What matters is not to tell anyone about this. I can help you control the Nine-Tails' power in the future."
"Why can't I tell anyone? And you want the Nine-Tails' chakra, don't you?"
Kushina's suspicion was evident, and she recalled the previous incident, her voice dropping, "And about last time, that was your doing, making me embarrass myself in public..."
"What did you say at the end? Speak up; who can hear you?"
Yoichi feigned innocence, then shifted the topic, "Wanting the Nine-Tails' chakra doesn't conflict with helping you control the Tailed Beast. Aren't the benefits obvious to you? Other villages' Jinchuriki are becoming heroes on the battlefield, while you're still under surveillance in the village, facing rejection elsewhere. Or do you have a better method to control the Tailed Beast?"
"Don't forget, the method you're using to control the Tailed Beast, I risked my life to steal from the Cloud Village, and for that, I was hunted by the Third Raikage. Just now, I saved you from the Nine-Tails' control. Is this how you repay a favor?"
Using moral and shame against those with strong senses of duty and embarrassment is effective.
"A gentleman may be deceived by the right means, roughly the same idea."
Hearing Yoichi's words, Kushina felt a strong sense of guilt. Indeed, he had just saved her, and after obtaining the method to control the Tailed Beast, she had decided to thank him. Repaying kindness with enmity...
"If you plan to repay kindness with enmity, go ahead. I guess I understand you now. But if you do, you'll always have flaws in your heart, and you'll never be able to control the Nine-Tails' power."
Those with flaws in their hearts cannot accept the Nine-Tails chakra's negative emotions.
Kushina's guilt intensified, feeling as if many were accusing her of ingratitude, including Mito, blaming her.
"I won't tell anyone. I won't let others know."
"Wait, who said I was going to tell? Can't I just ask? If you won't tell, then don't. Hey? Where did you go?"
Kushina came to her senses, but Yoichi had already vanished.
The next second, she heard people calling her name. When she forced her eyes open, she saw the familiar ceiling.
Sitting up in bed, she was surrounded by two Anbu teams and a member of the Sealing Team.
They looked at Kushina seriously, then one asked, "Kushina, how do you feel? Is your consciousness intact? How's the control over the Tailed Beast?"
"I'm fine now. Have you been here the whole time?"
Kushina quickly realized that what happened wasn't a dream; the Nine-Tails' chakra might have leaked, alerting the Anbu and Sealing Team.
The Anbu who spoke first said, "We've been here since your Tailed Beast chakra leaked. But after the Sealing Team arrived, your Tailed Beast chakra retracted, and you're feeling okay now? Is the seal loosened?"
"I feel quite good now."
Kushina then sensed a controllable Tailed Beast chakra within her and brought it forth.
Instantly, a blood-red chakra covered her, forming a Tailed Beast cloak and three chakra tails swayed behind her.
This sudden change made the Anbu on high alert, thinking Kushina was again influenced by the Nine-Tails, seeing three tails. They prepared to signal the village to be on alert.
"Don't panic. I'm not controlled or influenced by the Nine-Tails. After some training, I've become more proficient in controlling the Nine-Tails' chakra. This is under my control."
Kushina quickly explained, not wanting the Anbu to send out an alert signal, as she wouldn't be able to rest all night.
Then, she retracted the Tailed Beast cloak and gestured to them, "I'm fine now. Don't worry."
1Seeing Kushina wasn't affected by the Tailed Beast chakra, the Anbu relaxed their alert stance, and the team leader put away the signal flare.
However, he still asked to confirm by having the Sealing Team check the seal and then make a report.
Kushina agreed, "Sure, check it."
The Sealing Team checked Kushina's seal, confirming no looseness or abnormalities, and nodded to the Anbu team leader.
After receiving the information, the team leader asked Kushina some questions about her training progress and details.
Kushina answered honestly, but when it came to Yoichi, she hesitated, eventually omitting his involvement.
1It became her own perseverance that overcame the Nine-Tails' chakra influence, gaining more control over it.
"You did well, Kushina. I'll report this to the Hokage."
The team leader said, then signaled his subordinates and the Sealing Team to leave Kushina's home, and he also departed.
Kushina's sudden display of strong Tailed Beast chakra was good news for the village.
"Sigh~"
After everyone left, Kushina lay back on her bed, pondering the night's events.
"How did he appear in my body's sealing space? Normally, you need a sealing jutsu and close proximity... but the Anbu were there the whole time. What method did he use?"
"And he said he'd help me train to control the Tailed Beast's power in the future? Is that true? Using today's method?"
Kushina had many questions. She considered seeking Yoichi at dawn to inquire. After taking so much Nine-Tails chakra tonight, he probably wouldn't be as unwelcoming as last time.
If it didn't work out, she wouldn't enter the Uchiha clan's territory.
Soon, Kushina fell asleep, sleeping soundly without the Nine-Tails' chakra disturbance, a night free from nightmares.
After leaving Kushina, Yoichi found his dream time running out. He didn't deal with the Nine-Tails' chakra immediately but went to check on Mina's progress.
This time, Mina surprised him by strengthening the control seal for the Reanimation corpses and even modified the seal to allow two sub-seals to control them, essentially creating a second remote control.
Yoichi was pleased with this progress, complimented Mina, and, to her anticipation, spanked her a few times before leaving her dreamscape.
1"This is getting ridiculous. I might actually have to use this method with Mina in the future. I should find a way to correct this!"
After ending his dream time, Yoichi woke up. He then opened a compartment of the Four Symbols Seal and fed all the Nine-Tails' chakra to Godzilla.
With such a substantial supply of life energy, Godzilla quickly recovered, its body heating up again and the atomic reactor inside glowing faintly.
Yoichi, satisfied with the observation, noted, "It's recovering quickly. At this rate, a few dozen more times could possibly evolve it to its final form."
