It been six weeks since Bianca joined P. H. S. Five weeks since Bryan has been trying to put a smile on Bianca's face. Five weeks since Ryan has been trying to talk to Bianca but find himself losing the courage anytime he sees her. Five weeks since Adrian and Jeremy placed a bet on Bianca with a lot of cash involved. Two months and a week since Bianca started staying with her aunt.
Bianca sat in her favourite spot in the garden with her eyes closed. It was a pretty cold morning and as she felt the cold morning breeze blow against her skin, she couldn't help the thought of Bryan that keeps wheeling into her head. In as much as she hate to admit it, she couldn't deny the fact that she is slowly getting used to his presence around her. He is always around her whenever she is at school even though she mostly ignored him, and has made it become impossible for even a cold hearted fellow like her not to get used to his presence. He do visit the restaurant at times and sometimes place orders which made it almost impossible for her not to see him even during the weekends. His childish behavior around her is also not helping matters at all. She has begin to find him amusing and wondered if he is really eighteen because he act like a kid rather than an eighteen year old adult.
He has not been in school for the past three days reasons being that he and other members of his band were holding a concert in Los Angeles. He had told her told her about it but then he was suppose to come back the day before and she wondered why he is not yet in school.
She felt someone sit beside her but she didn't open her eyes because for one thing she knew it wasn't Ciara neither was it Bryan. Ciara is probably in the library with her face buried in different types of books. Tch, that nerd, she wondered how she cope with the every day reading. Now she even hardly have time for other things always talking about their upcoming test that Bianca has begin to find it annoying.
" It a quite a cold morning, isn't it? " She heard someone voice disrupt her thought and she immediately knew the owner of voice.
It was Adrian, she has no doubt it him. They might not get along quite well but she is someone who have few clingy people around her. She is really snobbish and exhibit quite a cold aura which tells most people off. But among the few people around her who doesn't care about her snobbish attitude is Adrian which made it quite impossible for her not to recognize his voice.
She kept her eyes shut not ready to get engaged in any conversation that morning. She knew if she ignored him a little longer he is definitely going to let her be.
The similarity between Adrian and Bryan is that they are both quite persistent. But the difference between the duo is that, Bryan is way more persistent than Adrian. If it had been Bryan who was sitting beside her, he would have continue pestering her until she angrily open her eyes but Adrian will let her be after a while of been ignored probably because he is been cautious not to get her angry.
" I will just let you be if you want to be alone " She heard him say and that was when she remembered that a guy was still sitting close to her. He sound quite down and she need not to be told before she realise that he has been talking to her for sometime now and she wasn't even listening.
" Thanks " She managed to say and Adrian smiled happily to himself.
Adrian isn't sure what was wrong was with him but he knows for sure that whenever Bianca look at him his heart skip beats and whenever she talk to him he get really happy. He found himself craving to be around her and he kept saying to himself that it was all about the bet and nothing else. He kept trying to convince himself that everything is about the bet but instead he end up getting more and more confused. What exactly is this feeling? The feeling he get whenever he is with her is quite strange to him but still he found himself loving the feelings. He found himself loving the feelings been around her give to him. Strange.
Bianca felt him stood up and then began to hear is footstep. She opened her eyes and stared at his retreating figure before sighing and closing back her eyes.
