บท 19: Chapter 19: The seniors
Even though she wanted to fight it off, Shuzo was speaking the truth. What if she goes drunk and creates some bizarre scene?! That'd bring more trouble.
Therefore, she pretended a smile and let it slide.
The robot bartender soon finished preparing the mystic lady and shortly put it onto the table. It then made the announcements, "SU110, your drink is here"
Enlivened by it, Shuzo turned and smiled at the robot.
He then took the cocktail and take a sip of it.
It's been a long while that he was finally having it. Quite liking the taste, he shooked his head in contentment.
Cuifen on the side was left so pissed. She was having it hard to see the person next to her enjoying all the good things while she was sitting there doing nothing. Come on it's her favourite thing to drink and taste wine!
Keen to know what was the future cocktails taste like. She facetiously turned to Shuzo and requested with puppy eyes, "Ge..! That cocktail looks so tasty can I take a sip of it?! Just one sip....hmm?!!"
What a weird....?! Shuzo eyes were left widened by it. Triggered by it, he was having it hard to swallow the drink that he incidentally choked on it.
Alarmed by it, Cuifen immediately pats onto his back and assured, "Easy....slow down..."
Shuzo struggled to speak out, "Wet wipes...??!!!"
"Wet wipes...??!!! Oh..yes...!", realising it, Cuifen quickly turned to the robot and requested a wet wipe.
The robotic bartender instantly opened its stomach with an instant beep and opened it. It then took out the wet wipes from there.
It was then handed to Cuifen.
Cuifen quickly took it and handed it to Shuzo.
Feeling a bit better, Shuzo wiped his mouth.
He then turned to Cuifen and spoke up in perplexity, "What's with you just now?!! You suddenly call me Ge out of the blue that you nearly gave me a heart attack!"
Cuifen scoffed at it and soon gotten into her position. She then declared in boldness, "So you feel privileged that I finally call you Ge?!"
"Then...mighty ge, why don't you let me take a sip of it?!", Cuifen's sparkling eyes were gawking at Shuzo hinting him to give her the cocktail.
This Leina is so cunning that she is trying every means to get her hands on the things she wants.
Unable to ignore her cunningness, Shuzo turned aside and hesitantly pushed the cocktail towards her.
As Cuifen saw the cocktail slowly coming towards her side, she smiled in accomplishment.
She immediately turned to Shuzo and thanked him in grand, "Thank you ge!"
She then gave him a big cheesy smile.
Since he likes being called ge, Cuifen's cunning mind reckoned that she should use it as her secret trump card from time to time, in that way she can have it her way.
Feeling satisfied with it, she quickly grabbed the cocktail and immediately take a big sip of it.
The taste of the future cocktail was so heavenly that Cuifen was getting fireworks insides her brain.
Never in her life did she tasted the cocktail that taste so heavenly.
Amused by it, she clamoured out in drunkenness, "Wah...! This mystic lady is out of this world!"
Shuzo scoffed at it and was left gawking at her.
Wanting to take another quick sip of it, she quickly grabbed the cocktail.
Noticing it, Shuzo instantly put his hands above hers and stopped her.
He then used his hand and forces her hands off from the glass.
With it being a success, Shuzo took the cocktail and drank it all in just one shot.
Cuifen was left wordless by it. She scoffed while staring at him unbelievably.
While the two were clashing over it, the man who had previously dragged Shuzo towards the bartender showed up there with another member of the special unit.
Upon seeing them, he clamoured out in enthusiasm, "Shuzo why you are the only one drinking?! What about Leina?!!"
The two then turned to look at Leina.
Cuifen reacted to it consciously, "Ahh...drinks?! I have already drink it. Isn't it Shuzo?!"
She then turned to him, seeking to aid her.
The two of them didn't believe that Leina had already drunk the drinks. If she drink it, she wouldn't be this conscious.
Not believing it, they turned to Shuzo.
While Shuzo replied to it composedly, "That's right, Leina had already drunk it"
Cuifen then shooked her head agreeably to it.
It was no fun if Leina had already been sober up.
Therefore, the man turned to them and insisted in slyness, "Aishh...! That's no fun..! Leina you will drink one more time!"
He then turned at the robotic bartender trying to give the request.
Not quite liking the intention of these two, Shuzo reacted consciously, "Leina has a mini-mission tomorrow, therefore she couldn't drink more"
The two of them were left dumbstruck by it, the founders have given Leina a mini-mission right on the next day of the party?! It's more like they are sending to kill her!
They look at each other in bewilderment.
Not wanting to create a scene on the things of the founders, the two had given up their hopes.
Wanting to leave the scene, the man spoke up idly, "Then...enjoy the party...we will go there...eh?!"
With it, the two of them hastily left the spot.
As Shuzo turned to see them leaving the spot, the DJ of the party made their special announcement, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Let's now welcome the seniors of the special units! It is all due to their kind benevolence that we can organise such a party!"
Everyone cheered at it.
Tensed by it, Cuifen immediately turned to Shuzo and inquired in bewilderment, "Seniors??!! That means your dad and my mom are here??!!"
Shuzo shooked his head coolly at it.
He then glances at the entrance.
Cuifen curiously followed his glance.
There she saw a group of middle-aged men and women. They were making their grand entrance and wore the same uniform that is the moss green jumpsuits uniforms for the senior authorities of the special unit.
This bunch of seniors looks so cool and energetic.
They were all looking cheerful and lively as they enter the party place.
Everyone in the party place stood up and clap their hands and cheered on them, giving them a grand and heartfelt welcome.
From the looks of it, Cuifen can tell that the special units have their admiration and respect for the seniors.
