There were many people working late that night at the MIB headquarters, including some of the alien staff. According to Noah's request, they tracked down the aliens who had recently entered and left the planet, including the addresses of those who lived here.
Noah, on the other hand, slept peacefully after a good workout with Weaver. 'After taking care of Serleena, I should be able to upgrade from ordinary agent to senior agent, right?'
In fact, the MIB hasn't been established for very long, and many of the rules were still changing. For example, in the early years, MIB forbade internal relationships, thinking that it would affect work.
If it were not for that rule, K and O might have started a relationship. This was later changed to a ban on relationships between people in the same department. O wanted to move to the internal department, but K already had another sweetheart.
Noah and Weaver benefitted from a change in the rules and could openly have a relationship. J also wanted to chase a female logistics agent, but unfortunately, the other party wasn't interested.
"I heard that you took a very dangerous assignment, be careful." Weaver helped Noah straighten his tie.
"Don't worry, if I can't handle it, I'll call for backup. You know my strength best; those aliens won't be able to catch me that easily."
Weaver blushed. Of course, she knew Noah's strength best, which was stronger than many alien creatures she had studied. Unfortunately, she couldn't replicate it. She wondered if they had children, would they inherit his physical qualities.
"Remember, you're the one who said that. If you die, I will definitely find someone else."
"You can't escape me in this life, don't even think about it." Noah teased.
They chatted for a while, then Noah went out. J was already waiting at the door.
"Didn't you inform me that you were up? I've been waiting here for over 20 minutes. What were you doing?" J's eyebrows jumped up and down as if he knew something.
"I'm not as quick as you. Come on, let's get something to eat. We'll follow the list and try to find Serleena as soon as possible."
The first alien on the list, who worked in a restaurant, was caught by Noah's radar the moment he got there. He had no criminal record, and he was only on the list because he went to visit his home planet. But when he got there, the war on his planet hadn't stopped yet, so he quickly came back to Earth.
The second alien, who was working as a bodyguard, had just arrived on Earth around three weeks ago. Recently, he's been going through bodyguard training and hadn't left the training base.
After searching for seventeen targets in a row, no other suspicious aliens were found.
"N, are you sure this is going to work? Why aren't you asking other agents to help us? With just the two of us, it's too slow." J complained. It had been a busy day, but they didn't get any useful information.
"No, I think a clue just came, right on time." Noah saw a puppy running over, not far ahead. A smile appeared on his face.
Turning around to walk towards his parked car, Noah opened the back door. The puppy jumped in himself.
"N, you've been looking for Serleena, right? That terrifying Evil Queen of the Kylothians?"
"How did you know? I thought the MIB is keeping this news low for now. Have you been snooping around?" J glared at Frank.
"Calm down, J. The MIB is not the only one who saw the Kylothians' spaceship. That kind of gold Kylothian class C ship, only Serleena is flashy enough to travel in one. I know who Serleena might be looking for. A guy had been to Tartarin some time ago, and Serleena had just captured Tartarin not long before."
"People know that Serleena attacked Zartha for the Light of Zartha, but she didn't get it."
"If someone found out that the Light was on Earth, wouldn't they sell that info to Serleena? See, N? I told you I can be useful to you."
Frank looked proud. In the alien community on Earth, there's nothing he couldn't find out. He knew a lot of gossip, even the ones from outside Earth.
People would underestimate him for his size, but has anyone really seen some big and powerful alien catch him?
"Do you know where Serleena is?" Noah also looked at Frank. 'This puppy-like alien seemed to be more well-informed than I had expected.'
"I don't know, but I know who she came to see. You guys should be able to locate any alien that came to the country legally, right? If you find that guy, you'll find Serleena too."
"But, Serleena isn't easy to deal with. Otherwise, people wouldn't call the Evil Queen. She's much more terrifying than that Bug you took out."
The Bugs were a powerful race, not because of their individual strength, but their powerful reproductive capacity. They could swarm a planet in a short time, and dominate any planet by sheer numbers.
Selena's strength lies not only in her individual combat powers but also in her unparalleled ability to disguise her appearance.
It was harder to identify a Kylothian than a Vultusian.
Moreover, Serleena had taken out a lot of planets, giving the Kylothians a major technological boost.
"Take us to her, and I'll finish her off." J had a confident look on his face. 'Wouldn't taking out Serleena get me a promotion, and a big bonus?'
"N, I think you should look for the Light of Zartha first. If Serleena finds it first, she wouldn't hesitate to destroy Earth. The MIB has the Light of Zartha, right?" Frank stared at Noah with his big puppy dog eyes.
"Hey! Didn't you hear me? I think we should take care of Serleena first, then look for that Light of whatever..." J looked at Frank. 'My plan is perfect; can't you see that?'
Noah also made a decision, "We're going to Serleena first. The MIB doesn't have the Light, if we can't find it, neither can Serleena."
Just like the Arquillians' 'Galaxy', he couldn't find it unless he was very close to it, or at least, the MIB didn't have the technology to scan the planet for such a thing. And, no one knew what the Light of Zartha really looked like, besides the higher-ups of Zartha, who unfortunately are dead or in hiding right now.
"Well, N, I hope you don't regret your decision. I forgot what planet that guy belongs to, and I couldn't find out his name. But I know he has two heads, does the MIB have a record of that?"
"I hope that's enough information to help you guys. I have other things to do, so I'll leave you to it." With that, Frank jumped out of the car and ran away.
"N, do you think we can trust him? He urged us to find the Light of Zartha when he's not even sure it's on Earth. Do you think he wants it too?"
"I heard that he's also a refugee from a war on his planet. What if he wants to use it for his own planet?"
"I don't know. But I believe he didn't lie about the two-headed man. Come on, let's get back." Noah had a bad feeling about all of this.
