Is it wrong to forget the plot in a dungeon?

A man dies now he's in an office with an old man he's given an opportunity and it's going to take a long time to figure out what he can get but in his haste he forgets important things but the old man doesn't care he finally got some much needed rest...
Ps. there isn't a tag for it and because it's a new life, mc accepted the change pretty quickly, I don't feel that it is but this technically is a gender bender
