บท 173: Chapter 173

"Bang!"

Trunks threw Granolah to the ground with a dull thud.

Granolah gritted his teeth, glaring with anger. "Damn Saiyan monkey!!!"

Bulma, noticing the tied-up alien on the floor, raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Trunks, what's going on?"

"He's an alien, but he's very stubborn. He wouldn't answer any of my questions. But it's clear he hates Saiyans. Mom, this robot he has might hold some secrets. Could you try to extract its information?"

Trunks handed over Granolah's glasses-shaped robot to Bulma, adding a warning, "I warn you, don't try anything funny, or I'll destroy you."

"An alien?" Bulma frowned.

At that moment, a fully mechanical android stepped forward, taking the glasses-type robot from Trunks.

Over the years, Bulma had continued to refine Dr. Gero's android technology. She could now create fully mechanical androids with combat capabilities on par with Android 16. And, importantly, these androids were perfectly safe, with no chance of rebellion.

The android took the glasses-type robot and emitted a crystal light, which quickly engulfed Oatmeel.

Buzz.

A white light shot from the android's eyes, causing the air in front of it to shimmer. A large screen materialized, displaying all of Oatmeel's memories with Granolah.

Granolah felt a surge of shame as the memories began to play out in front of everyone.

When a clip appeared of him laughing and peeing in the wind atop a mountain, he couldn't bear it and turned his head away, closing his eyes.

The screen continued to show various scenes:

Monaito!

Cerealian Survivors

The Saiyans who destroyed Planet Cereal

Frieza's Army

Heeter Family

Mission

Planet Cereal Dragon Ball

Trunks and Bulma watched in silence, their frowns deepening.

Trunks began to understand why Granolah harbored such intense hatred for him. Given the circumstances, it would be strange if he didn't.

But something didn't add up—the information from the robot's memories wasn't entirely accurate.

The Heeter family didn't seem trustworthy at all. And since when had the Saiyans become Cooler's subordinates?

And then there was the matter of the two-star Dragon Ball on Planet Cereal—what was that all about?

After the android finished extracting the data from the robot, it "spat" Oatmeel back out.

Trunks took the robot and crouched down in front of Granolah.

Looking him in the eyes, Trunks said, "Granolah, I am indeed a Saiyan, but I know nothing about your Planet Cereal. Whatever happened must have been the work of my father or something that occurred even longer ago."

"I understand you're here seeking revenge, but I have my own reasons for protecting Earth. I don't want to be killed by you, and I won't let that happen."

"Your power is too weak to carry out your revenge. So take this and leave Earth quickly."

Trunks tore off the ropes binding Granolah and handed him the glasses-shaped robot.

"Huh?…" Granolah held Oatmeel in his hand, his mind momentarily stunned. What does this mean?

The Saiyan in front of him… was letting him go?

It was hard to believe that a cruel Saiyan would do such a thing. It felt unreal.

But now wasn't the time to dwell on it.

Granolah shook his head, forcing himself to focus, and then abruptly stood up.

"Are you sure you don't want to kill me? You'll regret it," Granolah warned, glaring at Trunks.

Trunks sneered, "Hmph, get out of here before I change my mind, or you'll be the one who regrets it."

After seeing Oatmeel's memories, Trunks realized that Granolah wasn't inherently evil—just stubborn. That's why he decided to let him go.

"You…" Granolah clenched his fists but didn't argue. This Saiyan is indeed savage, he thought.

Without another word, Granolah placed the glasses-shaped robot back over his left eye and turned to leave.

"Wait!" Bulma, who had been silent until now, suddenly called out, stopping him.

Granolah halted, mainly because he couldn't afford to provoke Trunks, so he had no choice but to listen.

"What?" He turned back to face Bulma.

Bulma said, "Someone installed a bug on your glasses-shaped robot. Did you put it there?"

Granolah froze, surprised. "What? A bug?"

"Judging by your reaction, you didn't install it. That leaves only one possibility—the Heeter family did something without your knowledge. They've been monitoring you."

"No, that's impossible," Granolah said, shocked. He immediately took off the glasses-shaped robot he had just put on.

He then commanded, "Oatmeel, initiate a full self-check."

"Yes!" Oatmeel responded. A flash of light emitted from it as it began the self-diagnostic.

Ten seconds later, a tiny bug, no bigger than a grain of rice, was separated from Oatmeel.

Granolah stared at the bug, both shocked and furious.

He pinched the bug between his fingers and muttered angrily, "Damn Heeter family, that bastard Elec—just wait."

With a squeeze, he crushed the bug into powder.

"Oatmeel, I'm sorry," the robot apologized quickly, ashamed that it had been compromised without its knowledge.

"Forget it, it's not your fault. It just shows how insidious and cunning Elec is—it's almost impossible to guard against him," Granolah said, lowering his head.

Bulma spoke up again, "What you hear might not be the truth, and what you see might not be either. Some things aren't what they seem, even when you witness them with your own eyes."

"The old Saiyans were indeed hateful, which is why they were destroyed along with their planet. But I can assure you, the remaining Saiyans have nothing to do with Planet Cereal. To me, they're all heroes."

"The destruction of your people might have hidden reasons—possibly connected to the Heeter family."

"Have you ever considered the possibility that the Heeter family leaked information about Planet Cereal, collaborated with Frieza to destroy it, then pretended to be benevolent by rebuilding it, all to sell the planet?"

"Of course, this is just my speculation."

Bulma was incredibly sharp. After reviewing Oatmeel's memories, she pieced together the facts, reconstructing 70-80% of what likely happened decades ago. Her intelligence was nothing short of extraordinary.

Meanwhile, at the Heeter Family Base

Elec's eyes flickered as he received the news. His inverted triangle-shaped eyes narrowed, and a cold aura filled the room.

"I never imagined there would be Saiyans living on a remote planet like Earth."

"And not just any Saiyan, but one strong enough to defeat Granolah with a single blow. This complicates things."

He stroked his chin and grinned. "They say fortune favors the bold. It seems it's time to implement another plan."
