Hola this your innocent author enthu here! 💖😇🫣 I never do self-review but with this particular novel, I felt I should throw some light on the overall theme~ So here's what you can expect: 1. Doctor Mingshen and Cop Jia will solve cases together but with Mingshen by her side, would anything ever go smoothly? 😈 Lots of drama, action, comedy and of course evil conspiracies too~ 2. Compared to my other novels, this will be a slow burn romance as the theme is enemies to lovers. The development will be gradual but trust me when it will eventually happen, you all will be swooning 😎 So be ready for some heart attacks hoho~ (Unfortunately Dr. Mingshen wouldn't be able to save you with here coz he will be the one causing them ahahahaha!) 3. There will be interesting and unexpected side couples so look out for them too 😘😌 4. I will cover as many unique crime themes as possible so each one of them will be memorable~ All in all, there will be many crime cases to solve and many twists and turns to enjoy. This is my first attempt at writing a proper and realistic (at least I hope so) slow burn romance so please shower Jia and Mingshen with all your awesome love! 💕 *cough* Yes you heard it right. Shower love on Mingshen too even if he might be arrogant, narcissist, selfish, full of himself, egoistic- Jia - *squints eyes at author* *ahemmmmm!!!* Time for me to run. One of the best novel out there if you're looking for suspense, crime and thrill. The crimes are written so perfectly, it would keep you engaged and curious throughout. The devil doctor is arrogant and sarcastic. He's literally the epitome of narcissism. The FL is a dedicated cop. She's strong and witty. I love the bickerings between Jia and Mingshen the most (Tho Jia would kill me if she gets to know this😝) Do give it a try, i bet you won't regret it.

Our dearest author deserves nothing less than 5 stars. I'm a big enthusiast of crime, mystery and thriller stories. So for me this book is a blessing. Also the fl's character role is very much different to what I'm being used to reading, a whole new experience that I'm very much excited to explore. Enthu, is one of those authors who always give updates on time no matter what and when they couldn't they give extra updates as a bonus, so no doubt this book will have the same. I'm so excited to read about a doctor who isn't so simple like the ml is so much more. Another successful story has starred and I got no doubts that this book will also be famous 😉

We’re only 50 or so chapters in and the first case has been full of twists and so engrossing! I’ve literally gasped at some of the revelations 😂 Top marks for crime & thriller Then there’s the main characters- the doctor is a fantastically witty and morally very, very grey character. Love his style so much! The book is laced with humour and attempts so far at potentially romantic overtures, which are hastily stamped on by the FL, our detective. Can’t wait to read even more!
