Overall, the plot is solid, and I really love the uniqueness of this novel. What stands out the most is how the disciples, especially Xu Yan (the first disciple), get most of the screen time and handle all the classic “Er Gen MC” moments, while the actual MC stays in the background as a powerful and mysterious master. It’s a refreshing twist. As for the translation, it’s generally good, but the inconsistency in names can be frustrating. Sometimes, it feels like even the translator (or maybe the author) gets confused about who’s talking, leading to the wrong name being used. Thankfully, the context and the distinct personalities of the characters make it easy to figure out who’s actually speaking. Another issue is the inconsistency with names for techniques, locations, and realms. For example, the “Great Zhou” country is suddenly called “Da Zhou” in the next chapter. While it means the same thing, it was confusing at first. In later chapters, “Dao” is sometimes translated as “The Way,” which is technically accurate, but I’d prefer it to stay as “Dao” for consistency. There’s also some mix-up between terms like “Realm” and “Domain,” which isn’t a huge deal but still highlights the inconsistency. On top of that, weapons get mistranslated a lot. For instance, Xu Yan uses a sword and Meng Chong uses a knife, but Meng Chong’s knife often gets translated as “sword,” “blade,” or “saber.” I’m guessing this is because all those terms can fall under “sword” in some translations, but it’s still annoying. The cultivation realm of Master, Grandmaster and Great Grandmaster also soemtimes take time to figured out which is being referred to which. Because Grandmaster is higher than Master but Great Grandmaster is equal to Grandmaster in some case. Overall, it’s a great story with some minor translation hiccups.

As soon as I found this book I read it everyday. If you enjoy stories of the characters constantly growing stronger and a MC who without an overly edgy personality this is for you.

I love the concept just wish focus little more da disciples character build to show good n different their personalities is and bonded they are together
i started reading, since idea of mc making things up and his disciples making it work was awesome. i dropped it, since it always ends up in disciples killing people and shittalking. for me it is too much uninteresting parts to continue. even creating new cultivation paths ended up skewed from how it was at start which made it even worse.
Currently at Ch. 73, and the story just gets better and better, like seriously. If you're already familiar with how the world is set up, and how the MC's disciples are seemingly way too overpowered and doesn't fit with the logic, it actually gets explained eventually by the story, and more and more world-building twists are exposed one by one, in short, it's very entertaining and I suggest you actually read this one.

The grammar is horrendous that reading this gives my migraines. The only thing I would suggest is he’s not using his OP skill like he should life safer instance when he was given a chance to tame a while, beast he didn’t make a beast taming skill or a beast taming cultivation method. He should also be looking at the current cultivation realms to draw comparisons.

A good past time. But most of the Scenes get repetitive all the time, from the inner domain, to the spiritual realm and this the Divine realm, same stuff, MC and his disciples cross the "gate" or "divine bridge" then MC powers level up with help of disciples understanding martial arts techniques for him. MC is OP, the story is OK, so-so. Read it if you are the type of person who wants to waste their own money. lol

I loved. This book profoundly surprised me in terms of the characters' development and involvement with each other. Pure comedy 🤣
i love how the author built the story, especially the characters; i thought it's just one of those master-disciple novels where the MC/master is the one who always does the moves or it will focus on the MC but everyone has a screen time and the MC is just relaxing on the back HAHAHAHA; i love it thank you for a good story author-san.
Worth reading for a while but occasionally you get multiple chapters where the names of certain objects, techniques, alliances, or countries change drastically. I can't even remember if Meng Chong uses a knife, saber, or blade anymore, and have stopped trying to figure it out. Dahua becomes Great Wilds Demon Lord becomes Magic Lord Every time the reading gets fun and exciting a glaring error appears and detracts from it. The MTL is lazy and inconsistent. The writing and characters are fun though.
Before reading, your Comprehension of the Dao should be high, because the Dao(translation) is constantly changing..
Mtl story that starts interesting, but mtl translation gets worse with time (aka editing effort) and it starts to become close to unintelligible after around chapter 50. All of the term changes every other chapter make it very confusing to read too. Don't recommend.
The novel is a pretty good read. It's about the mc pretending to be an immortal. His golden finger lets him multiply the rewards from his disciple's break through. Although the mc is starting from zero, the mc is really strong in his own realm and prob two realms above because of the reward from his golden finger. The mc's way of teaching his disciple is to just say some cultivation theories and let him disciples imagination take them to whatever. Eventually it all works out because his disciples are prodigies. The only bad thing about the novel are the terms being changed. It's not so bad that "he" and "she" changes constantly but it more of "grandmaster" and great grandmaster". Most of the time, when it's supposed to be "great grandmaster" but it gets translated into "grandmaster" instead. Also, there's a blood lord but his name got changed into magic lord due to lazy translation.
this should be much better if the author released at least 20 chapters per day . I know it's impossible but who knows
I like how the story isn't flooded with just adding disciples. however, character development is a major weakness
Read til chapter 362 translation is readable, but you do get annoyed when names alternate between English and Chinese, and the English name varies. but ok story is developing in a predictable, but very much enjoyable, manner. not very sure about characters, but have not found a flaw personally. updates are good , 3 chapters per day. i would say the world background is what is somewhat predictable after a certain point, but i would say it is satisfactory well done. worth a read, personally gonna keep reading for a while more as far as i can see. though the translation quality does ruin the enjoyment a bit.

So. It’s a good story, I like the system and the writing keeps me excited and engaged. The fights are excruciating like some cultivation fights were the character grandstand for the entire fight. It’s some high passes action, I live it. HOWEVER, the characters are the bad guys. The only difference between them and the people they kill is the people they kill are the bad guys. That’s the only difference. They manipulated, extort, and generally have no empathy for anyone else around them. The author has successfully made extremely unlikable characters. The sad part is that it was great, apart from almost any scene with a king involved, before they went to the inner area. I will update this if it gets better but I don’t hold much hope, really disappointing for such a good premise.
Around chapter 20 or something, some sentences have words that are written backwards or wrong like this. "Wusiw fusiwie shsjwiw akzooaowls zmjsjs wodoe lspspw" This is just an example but it seems author hasn't fixed it at all.
This story is really good. There are some errors with the character names or the technique names being changed or switched around in different chapters but so far its going well with descent world building and making sure not every character is the same. The MC knows how to be the strong mysterious senior and isn't an idiot. But overall, there is a lot of potential to keep going and make a long, interesting story. If it keeps following the same route that it's on, then this would be a 9/10
After 135 chapters. Very fun and relaxing to read, made myself laugh many times while reading. I would say the world is easy to imagine and envision and story is overpowered with fun elements, looking forward to more.
Love this novel. Translation consistency is a bit wonky as names and titles keep changing but it is easy to follow. The story takes the traditional tropes and has ample fun with them. Fresh and thoroughly funny. Have read till 220 chapters, the story has not become repetitive till yet.
