Christian Tener won his fight against Kale Herrmann, and the crowd erupted into cheers after seeing such an amazing fight.
Christian continued to stay in the arena, and Kale walked off with a depressed and shocked look.
"Aaah, man, that guy is gonna be our opponent in the future." Klein was sweating bullets, as he knew he could be on the other side of the arena having to face Christian.
The extras weren't faring better than Klein; even Juniper and Mila were nervous about the Templar Sect. Lena was thinking about how she would fare against Christian in a fight, the only problem is that she knew that Christian didn't show his full power and had more cards up his sleeves. There was only one person that wasn't nervous about this, Adonis.
Adonis stared intently at Christian with a hand over his mouth. A person might think that Adonis was astonished, but he was covering his mouth to hide the twisted smile he had. Adonis was aching to fight Christian and was trying to calm down before he did something stupid.
After a few minutes, another disciple of the Halo Sect came out, they were another person from a Major family under the Aberra family. The fight was more long distance and destructive than the first fight. Christian was able to pull out another win; however, he expanded much more mana in this fight and was growing tired. Immediately, the barrier turned red and blared an alarm; the monotonous voice sounded saying. "Christian Tener has been ordered to retreat" Christian heaved a sigh of relief and walked out of the arena.
"Damn, I wanted to see that guy fight more," A random audience member said.
"Ey, this is good. It means we can watch other Templar disciples fight!" Another audience member said.
The Green Valley team waited in anticipation for the following people to come out.
A minute later, a disciple of the Halo sect came out, and a few seconds later, a disciple of the Templar Sect came out.
The disciple of the Templar Sect was Gabriel Erdmann, the second son of the Great Erdmann family, known for their earth magic. He came out with a grin like he knew he would win this fight. This irked his opponent and his opponent prepared to fight, while Gabriel stood nonchalantly with his sword on his shoulder.
The fight went like this: Halo's disciple tried to keep his cool and slowly assess Gabriel, but that didn't last as Gabriel yawned. Halo's disciple got pissed and rushed in for the attack, Gabriel reacted by blocking his attack with an earth shield without moving a finger. Halo's disciple tried to attack him in several different other ways, but Gabriel kept calmly dodging or using a defensive technique. This tired out Halo's disciple and Gabriel went in for the kill shot, as he trapped Halo's disciple in the ground and used 'Pressure Beam', where the earth makes a "Vessel" and puts pressure in the center, blasting it in a large beam of energy. This immediately broke Halo's disciple barrier and marked another win for the Templar Sect.
Gabriel had another fight, where he pretty much did the same thing. After he won, he waved his hand in the air and yawned, showing he was too bored to fight again. Needless to say, this made a lot of the crowd boo him as he didn't show a single care for the fight and just blocked and dodged until his opponent was tired. Gabriel couldn't care less as he was walking out, but as he did, he took one last look at the audience and saw Mila looking at him with a confused expression. Thinking that beauty is interested in him, he winked at Mila and left the arena.
Mila hated flirting in general, so seeing this guy wink at her made her feel spiteful. Adonis focused on how Gabriel fought and concluded how he blocked, dodged, and was nonchalant throughout the entire fight. With a god-like reaction speed, he reacts to attacks that came at him before his opponent launched them at him. This made Adonis excited to test out his speed against Gabriel's reaction speed.
Eventually, another two disciples walked onto the arena. One of the disciples, Adonis recognized and felt a creeping anger increase in him.
Templar's Sect disciple, Paris Hale, is the third son of the Great Hale Family, which is known for its water magic. He was a bully of Adonis before he joined the Green Valley Sect, he remembered the constant insults and how he was kicked to the ground constantly while staring at Paris's apathetic look.
Adonis thoroughly paid attention to Paris's fight, as he knew that if they were going to fight the Templar Sect, he was definitely going to face Paris.
Paris fought not as gracefully as Christian, or as nonchalantly as Gabriel, you could see he fought with seriousness, but his face betrayed his body, as his face gave an apathetic look. Instead, if you look closely at how he fought, you could see that every move he did was calculated and was meant to be as efficient as possible. By following his calculations, the fight turned in Paris's favor and he capitalized on it, ending the fight quickly. For a normal person, Paris's fighting wasn't as entertaining or boring as the other fights, it was average. For cultivators, however, his fighting style is terrifying.
Adonis examined and knew this, he knew that to defeat Paris, he would have to create a variable big enough to destroy all of Paris's calculations. Adonis felt revenge coursing through him as he looked at Paris fighting.
The team felt a change in Adonis's mood. Klein saw the intensity in his eyes and immediately looked away and scooted away, the extras did the same. Mila and Juniper were curious about Adonis's sudden change, and the only one who knew what Adonis's mood change was about was Lena, as she saw knew her boyfriend well and could tell that he was thinking about revenge. Although she didn't why he wanted revenge against Paris, she didn't really care and would immediately help Adonis in his revenge if he asked her. Lena leaned into Adonis to snap him out of his trance and it worked.
Adonis calmed down as he noticed the stares from his teammates and put the idea of revenge to the back of his mind.
Like the others, Paris fought two opponents and left the Arena.
With this, it was currently Templar 6-0 Halo. Anybody could tell that this would end in Halo's defeat.
